THERE IS POWER IN THE WORD

 

Greetings the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! I am delighted to share the word of encouragement and hope at such a time as this! The title of my message is:"THERE IS POWER IN THE WORD" There is power in the name of Jesus, and there is power in the word of God. When my faith and my determination seem to be wavering, I start quoting the Word, because fear is dispelled by faith. And where does faith come from? " So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." ( Romans 10:17) I quote the Word so I can hear the Word of God. Sometimes you need  to read the Bible out loud. Don't just read it silently; speak it so that your ears can hear you saying it. When King David was greatly distressed,  he encouraged himself in the Lord( 1 Samuel   30:6). When you don't have anyone else to build you up, speak the Word of God and encouragement will come every time. The Message Bible in     Acts 20:32 says,          " Now I'm turning you over to God, our marvelous God whose gracious Word can make you into what he wants you to be and give you everything you could possibly need in this community of holy friends. " The word of God has the power to shape, and build you up to become a strong a powerful Christian.  There have been many times in my life when I didn't feel like I had the victory. At times I have gone to a church service when I didn't feel like going. The cares of life were getting to me, and I didn't feel like seeing one more person. I didn't want to smile again. I was tired of smiling. But every time I felt that way, someone in the service would unknowingly minister to me and my situation. Sometimes it was the worship songs that were sung. They would minister to my heart and build me up in faith. Many times as the church elders made the announcements, the Spirit of God came upon them and they ministered words meant just for me. I am sure there are many other people out there, who sometimes feel the same like me. When you encounter that feeling  and experience, try to encourage yourself with the word of God like King David.  At times someone can just come to you with the word of encouragement without knowing that they are ministering to you.  No one will be knowing that you need to be ministered to. Even though I'm in the ministry, there are times I need ministry too. I just want to mention that through worship, exhortation, or sermon, you can receive help in time of need, because you hear the Word of God and your faith is revived. Remember, the Word of God is sharper than a two edged sword....!( Hebrews 4:12, Psalm 119:11, Psalm 119:103-105). Therefore, it has the power to transform lives for the better, in the name of Jesus Christ! Whatever, you may be experiencing right now, just declare the Word of God upon yourself and life will never be the same again. Once again, " There is Power in the Word!"

JELOUSY AND ENVY CAN STEAL YOUR JOY

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ   Here is the word for your meditation and prayer this morning! I am delighted to share the word of life at such a time as this. The title of my message is:"JELOUSY AND ENVY CAN STEAL YOUR JOY" Never compare yourself with anyone else because it invites covetousness, jelousy, and envy. This is one of God's commandments in the Bible. The Amplified Bible  in Exodus 20:17 says,
[17]"You shall not covet your neighbor's house, your neighbor's wife, or his manservant, or his maidservant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's. [Luke 12:15; Col. 3:5.]" Coveting what others have is a big, big reason why people lose their joy. God wants His children to learn to love their own houses, their own spouses, their own gifts and abilities, their own positions and possessions - not someone's. " I wish I had her life."  " I wish I had his car." " I wish I had their children." " I wish I had a musical gift so I could be a worship leader and travel with a large ministry."  "I wish I was in a position of leadership where I could be the boss." Does the commandment mentioned above, mean that it is wrong for us to want to have the same kinds of things other people have? No, there is nothing wrong with that. But we should never want what someone else has to the point that we become envious and jelous.These negative emotions poison our own lives and  hinder loving relationships with others.     The Bible in Colossians 3:5-10 also says, "Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:" I try to refrain from looking at people and thinking things like, I wish I looked like him. I wish I had his beard. Don't compare yourself with other people, because comparison invites jelous and envy. You are unique and special as you are. Love and appreciate  yourself, as you were fearfully and wonderfully made.(Psalm 139:14) The other kind of jelousy is found in the story of Joseph's coat, which was a special gift from his loving father, Israel ( Jacob). The coat was very beautiful, and all Joseph's brothers were jelous of it. In fact, the Bible says that they hated him so much because of it, they planned to kill him. But then they decided to sell him into slavery. That is one of the more extreme  results of jelousy, but it serves to remind us of how dangerous jelousy can be.( Genesis 37:3-27). I encourage you to stop comparing yourself with other people  in regard to how you look, what position you occupy, or anything else they have that you don't. Comparison only thwarts God's working in your life. The Bible also says," So get rid of your feelings of hatred. Don't just pretend to be good! Be done with dishonesty and jelousy and talking about others behind their backs." ( 1 Peter 2:1) So backbiting is also fueled by jelous, hatred and envy. Be yourself and love who you are, and what you are. Stop comparing yourself with orher people, because there will never be someone like you and therefore love yourself as you are.

WHAT IS A SOUL TIE?

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!                           I am delighted to share the word of empowerment and edification, at such a time as this. The title of my message is: "WHAT IS A SOUL TIE?" The Bible in 1 Corinthians 6:16-20 says, "What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." WHAT A SOUL TIE IS: The Bible speaks of what today is known as soul ties.  In the Bible, it doesn't use the word soul tie, but it speaks of them when it talks about souls being knit together, becoming one flesh, etc. A soul tie can serve many functions, but in it's simplest form, it ties two souls together in the spiritual realm. Soul ties between married couples draw them together like magnets, while soul ties between fornicators can draw a beaten and abused woman to the man which in the natural realm she would hate and run from, but instead she runs to him even though he doesn't love her, and treats her like dirt. In the demonic world, unholy soul ties can serve as bridges between two people to pass demonic garbage through. I once helped a young man some time ago to break free from downwright awful visitations from demons, all due to an  ungodly soul tie he had with a witch. The man was a Christian, and the only thing that allowed her to send demonic torment his way, is through the soul tie. So an ungodly soul tie is dangerous and destructive. Other soul ties can do things such as allow one person to manipulate and control another person, and the other person is unaware to what is going on or knows what is going on, but for no real reason, allows it to continue.                      HOW SOUL TIES ARE FORMED: I believe there are other ways  which soul ties are formed, but here are some that I am aware of.                           SEXUAL RELATIONS:        Godly soul ties are formed when a couple are married. In Ephesians 5:31, the scripture says, "For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh." The Godly soul tie between a husband and the wife that God intended him to have is unbreakable by man ( Mark 10:7-9). However, when a person has ungodly sexual relations with another person, an ungodly soul tie is then formed. (1 Corinthians 6:16)This soul tie fragments  the soul, and is destructive. People who have many past relationships find it very difficult to 'bond'  or be joined to anybody, because their soul is fragmented(broken into pieces).                CLOSE RELATIONSHIPS:          King David and Jonathan had a good soul tie as a result of a good friendship.(1 Samuel 18:1) But bad soul ties can form from bad relationships as well. Idolizing somebody can cause a bad soul tie. I have heard too that you can create a  soul tie with a music rock group, by becoming obsessed with their music. Which explains the strong pull towards certain music that seems almost irresistible. Let us try as born again Christians to avoid listening to circular music, because you may be tied to the spirit behind that kind of music. Listen to godly music!  VOWS, COMMITMENTS AND AGREEMENTS:        Vows are known to bind the soul.( Numbers 30:2) Even a marriage itself cinsists of vows and binds the two people together(Ephesians 5:31). Therefore I have little reason to overlook the concept of vows or commitments as being a means to create a soul tie.             HOW TO BREAK A SOUL TIE.                        1. If any sins were committed to cause this soul tie, repent of them! Fornication is perhaps one of the most common ways to create nasty soul ties.                                  2. If gifts were given to you by the other person in connection  with the sin or unholy  relationship, such as rings, flowers, cards, bras, undergaments, etc. I would get rid of them! Such things symbolize the ungodly relationship, and can hold a soul tie in place. If you are  still friends or in a relationship ( just now it's no longer an ungodly relationship),  like say a boyfriend/  girlfriend relationship, except you 've repented of and forsaken the unholy practices you used to do in your relationship, then I don't feel it is necessary to destroy all the gifts and things that you have been given. I would still encourage you to get rid of anything that symbolizes the ungodly practices in the relationship though, such as if a guy gives a girl a bra and panties with his intials on them during fornication. I wouldn't encourage you to hang on to such things that symbolize sin or that are wrong to give each other before marriage. Things such as flowers and love letters given during an adultery should be destroyed. 3. Any rash vows or commitments made that played a part in forming the soul tie should be renounced  and repented of, and broken in the name of Jesus Christ. Even things like " I will love you forever", or " I could never love another man or woman!" need to be renounced. They are spoken commitments that need to be undone verbally. As Proverbs 21:23 tells us, " Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepth his soul from troubles." The tongue has the ability to bring the soul great troubles and bondage. Remember, the scripture also says, " Death and life are in the power of the tongue .."( Proverbs 18:21)                           4. Forgive that person if you have anything against them.                               5. Renounce the soul tie. Do this verbally, and in the name of Jesus Christ! For example you just say, " In the name of Jesus Christ; I now renounce any ungodly soul ties formed between myself and.......as a result of ......( fornication, etc.)             6. Break the soul tie in the name of Jesus Christ! For example, " I now break and sever any ungodly soul ties formed  between myself  and ......as a result of ...... ( fornication, etc.) in the name of Jesus Christ. "             7. Ask Jesus to wash  and restore the parts  of each other's hearts that were fractured. You can do this by saying something such as,     " Lord Jesus I ask that you take any parts in me that belong to ..........
and wash them in your Blood and restore them  to him/her. I also ask that you take any parts of mine that are in .......and wash them in your Blood  and restore them to me." Remember, your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and therefore protect it from any form of contamination and corruption. You may be in a Marriage relationship or simple relationship, and things are not working well, you need to be delivered and set free in the name of Jesus Christ. Your previous ungodly acts or relationships, may be the reason why things are not well in your marriage or relationship. Seek deliverance and you will be set free in the name of Jesus Christ! May the Lord richly bless you all!

DESPITE THE WILDERNESS EXPERIENCE; WE SHALL ARRIVE AT KADESHBARNEA

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!

I am delighted once again to share a message of hope amd encouragement at such a time as this. In this journey of our Christian faith, there are times when we pass through valleys and high mountains of trials and tribulations, but we remain hopeful that our Lord will never  leave or forsake us. The title on my message is: "DESPITE THE WILDERNESS EXPERIENCE; WE SHALL ARRIVE AT KADESHBARNEA"

 

The Bible in Deuteronomy 1:19-21 says, "And when we departed from Horeb, we went through all that great and terrible wilderness, which ye saw by the way of the mountain of the Amorites, as the LORD our God commanded us; and we came to Kadeshbarnea.
And I said unto you, Ye are come unto the mountain of the Amorites, which the LORD our God doth give unto us.

 

Behold, the LORD thy God hath set the land before thee: go up and possess it, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged." While I was reading the Bible and meditating on Deuteronomy 1, verse 19 caught my attention which says they left Horeb and arrived at Kadeshbarnea after passing through the frightening and terrible  wilderness.This prompted me  to realize that when you are determined to achieve something nothing will stop you.

 

The children of Israel, while being led by Moses suddenly realized that they had stayed long at mount Horeb and it was time to move forward. I just want to also mention that even in our life experiences at times you come to the realization that you have been dormant and stagnant for a long time. Nothing seems to be moving or changing in your life, and you then decide to take a bold step of moving to another level, despite the risks and challenges.

 

It may be at your work place where you seem to have been doing some routine work for a long time, or it could be in your family, where some of your peers and siblings are doing very well, but as for you  nothing is moving. It could be your business, where your other business partners are progressing very well and you are just surviving from hand to mouth.

 

This must change immediately, after recognizing and noticing that you are still at Horeb, and you are growing  old. Such experiences are very common in life. The children of Israel after departing from Egypt, took many years to reach Canaan, a journey which was supposed to take them only two weeks.

 

The scripture above says when they departed from Horeb, they went through that great and terrible wilderness on their way to Kadeshbarnea. Because the Lord had spoken, they were determined to move until they arrived at Kadeshbarnea.  According to history Kadeshbarnea was a place of waiting, spying, surveying and strategizing, before entering Canaan. Kadeshbarnea was also a place of hope and assurance.

Kadeshbarnea was a place of no return.  Kadeshbarnea was a place of stability and confidence. 

 

Kadeshbarnea was situated South of Israel, near Canaan. Moses sent Spies from there to go and survey the land of Canaan, before they could enter the promised land. So it was very strategically situated and critical in the Hebrew history. You had to get to Kadeshbarnea, before entering the promised land.

 

If you want to harvest honey, you must be prepared to be stung or bitten by bees, before harvesting the actual honey.

Good things come after hard labour and sweating.

The Israelites faced many challenges on their way to Canaan. At times they felt like abandoning the journey and go back to Egypt, where they lived  and worked hard as slaves. But you don't have to abandon the journey of life.

 

I want to encourage you that despite the challenges you are currently facing or experiencing even during this Covid- 19 lockdown period, there is still hope for you to arrive at Kadeshbarnea.There is still hope for you to get whatever you need or desire. 

 

I see Kadeshbarnea as your miracle or breakthrough.  Therefore be determined to get to Kadeshbarnea, despite the opposition and storms of life.

Wilderness is a place of scarcity and lack. Wilderness is a place of desperation and hopelessness. Wilderness is a place of fearful valleys and mountains. Wilderness is a place of dryness and lack.

 

But you don't give up or quit even in the midst of suffering and tough situations. Hold on to your faith, you will arrive at Kadeshbarnea. Press on and push, until you get whatever you are believing God  for. Don't quit! Don't surrender!  Don't give up! Strive to arrive at Kadeshbarnea. 

 

When God has spoken He fulfills His word, regardless of what you might be facing or experiencing in life. Remember, He watches over His word to perform and does not fail. ( Isaiah 43:2, Isaiah 55:10-11, Numbers 23:19-20, Hebrews 10:35-39, Hebrews 13:5-6, Romans 8:37-39, Genesis 28:15, Deuteronomy 31:6-8, Malachi 3:6, Mark 11:22-24, Ephesians 6:18, Luke 18:1).

 

Whatever you are going through in your marriage, relationship, family or business, don't give up until you get to Kadeshbarnea. Your breakthrough is imminent like
Canaan the land of promise. Whatever it is it shall be over. Remember, it is not over, until He says it's over.

 

Once again remain focused and determined to arrive at Kadeshbarnea, in the name of Jesus Christ.

LEGALISM COMPLICATES EVERYTHING

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ!  Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! I am delighted to continue sharing the word of life at such a time as this. (Esther 4:14-17). The title of my message is:" LEGALISM COMPLICATES EVERYTHING"

 

While still on the same scripture where Jesus healed a blind man, I want to mention that the legalistic Pharisees focused on the broken rules instead of the joy of the blind man's deliverance: The Bible says, " They asked them, Is this your son, whom you reported as having been born blind? How then does he see now? His parents answered?  We know that this is our son,  and that he was born blind. But as to how he can now see, we do not know. He is of age. Ask him; let him speak for himself and give his own account of it. ( John 9:19-21)

 

The man who had been healed of a lifelong blindness had to be feeling really happy. Their question must have  seemed to him like a bad joke. This whole cross examination routine by the Pharisees must have been stealing his joy. It is possible to make law out of anything, and the Pharisees had bound themselves to unrealistic laws of their own making, which blinded them to the fact that Jesus was the son of God. In a desperate attempt to prove otherwise, the Pharisees continued to question the man Jesus had healed.

 

As stated in Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Whole Bible, " One would have expected that such a miracle as Christ wrought upon the blind man would have settled his ( Jesus') reputation, and silenced and shamed all opposition, but it had a contrary effect; instead of being embraced as a prophet for it, he is prosecuted as a criminal." 

 

A legalistic, reasoning attitude complicates everything. It fills people with pride and blinds them to truth even when it is staring them right in the face, as this story illustrates: The scripture says, " His parents said this because they feared ( the leaders of) the Jews;  for the Jews had already agreed if anyone should acknowledge Jesus to be the Christ, he should be expelled and excluded from the synagogue. 

 

On that account his parents said, He is of age; ask him. So the second time they summoned the man who had been born blind, and said to him, Now give God the glory ( praise). The Fellow we know is only a sinner  ( a wicked person). Then he answered, I do not know whether He is a sinner and wicked or not. But one thing I do know, that whereas I was blind before, now I see. ( John 9:22-25)                                   

 

I cannot explain doctrinally everything the Lord has done in my life, any more than the blind man in this passage could explain his healing.  I do not have enough words or the correct terminology in describing what has happened to me also.

 

But one thing I do know: Once I was a mess, and now I have been changed.  The same Jesus can change your life for the better, and make people who knew you as an outcast marvel and wonder on your success and breakthrough.

 

Don't allow  legalism to complicate your life and faith in Jesus.  Believe and worship Him as the spirit leads and you will experience the fullness and miraculous power of God.

HOLD FAST ON YOUR FAITH

 

 

 

 

GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST! HERE IS THE WORD FOR YOUR MEDITATION AND PRAYER!

HOPE YOU HAD BLESSED AND SPIRIT FILLED NIGHT.  THE BIBLE SAYS, "MY RIGHTEOUSNESS I HOLD FAST, AND WILL NOT LET IT GO: MY HEART SHALL NOT REPROACH ME SO LONG AS I LIVE" (JOB 27:6) THE TITLE OF MY MESSAGE IS " HOLD  FAST ON YOUR FAITH"

 

JOB SAYS TO HIS "FRIENDS" THAT THEY HAVE REPROACHED HIM, BUT HIS HEART HASN'T. NO MATTER WHAT COMES IN YOUR LIFE, DON'T FALL TO THE DEVIL 'S TRAP AND SIN.

 

NEVER GIVE THE DEVIL A FOOTHOLD, HE CAN DESTROY YOUR LIFE AND PERSONALITY. 

JOB PASSED THE TEST AND YOUR SAVIOR LORDJESUS CHRIST ALSO OVERCAME TEMPTATIONS AND TRIALS IN HIS MINISTRY.( JOHN 16:33) DONT BEND DOWN! STAND FIRM AND RESIST THE DEVIL. ( 1 PETER 5:8-10, JAMES 4:7).

 

DEFEND YOUR CHRISTIAN FAITH AND LIVE A RIGHTEOUS LIFE. RESIST THE DEVIL HE WILL FLEE AWAY FROM YOU! NO MATTER HOW HARD IT IS, REMAIN A REMNANT AT SUCH A TIME AS THIS. ATTRACT BLESSINGS AND FAVOUR BY LIVING RIGHT!

 

THE BIBLE ALSO SAYS, " LET US HOLD FAST THE PROFESSION OF OUR FAITH WITHOUT  WAVERING; ( FOR HE IS FAITHFUL THAT PROMISED) ( HEBREWS 10:23) DON'T WAVER OR STAGGER IN YOUR FAITH. ( JAMES 1:6)

 

IF  YOU ARE NOT STABLE IN YOUR FAITH, YOU WILL NEVER RECEIVE ANYTHING FROM GOD.

ONE WHO STAGGERS IS NOT SURE OF WHAT THEY WANT OR NEED. 

 

WHATEVER IT IS, REMAIN STABLE AND FOCUSED AND YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR PROMISE IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

LEGALISM MISSES MIRACLES

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ!  Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!

I continue to share about legalism which I feel is affecting many believers in the body of Christ. The title of my message is: " LEGALISM MISSES MIRACLES" 

 

In the following verses of John 9:15-18, look at how legalism kept the Pharisees from simply receiving the awesomeness of the miracle Jesus had performed: The scripture says, " So now again the Pharisees asked him how he received his sight. And he said to them, He smeared mud on my eyes, and I washed, and now I see. Then some of the Pharisees said, This Man ( Jesus) is not from God, because he does not observe the Sabbath. But others said, How can a man who is a  sinner ( a bad man) do such signs and miracles?  So there was a difference of opinion among them.         Accordingly they said to the blind man again, What do you say about Him, seeing that He opened your eyes? And he said, He is ( He must be) a prophet!  However, the Jews did not believe that  he had ( really)  been blind and that he received his sight until they called ( summoned)  the parents of the man. ( John 9:15-18)   

 

Notice how the Pharisees had to dissect the miracle, take it apart, and try to reason it out? We will discuss reasoning in my next teachings later, but trying to figure out everything is a joy stealer that causes us to listen to our heads instead of our hearts.           

 

Do you try to " figure out" everything that happens? Do you want to understand everything,  to have all your ducks in a row? The Pharisees did. They were so caught up in reasoning and so busy dragging themselves around in the works of their own flesh, trying to obey the rules and keep the laws, they didn't have time for joy  or resting in God and enjoying their lives. And they expected everyone else to do the same.

Legalism will always steal your joy and freedom of worship.

The Bible in Isaiah: 29. 13 says "Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: 14. Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid."

 

Religion and legalism can hinder you from freely serving the Lord. You can miss your miracle if you try to follow religious protocols.

At times you need to break religious protocols in order to access your healing and breakthrough. Legalism can keep you from experiencing the fullness and miraculous power of God.

 

Don't miss your miracle because of your unbelief and legalism.

Open up to God, believe and worship Him freely and you will receive your breakthrough. ( 2 Chronicles 20:20, John 4:24)
