BE TENACIOUS IN PRAYER

Greetings in the name of Jesus! I want to encourage someone reading this message, on the subject of prayer. It is pertinent to mention that prayer is very critical in the life of every believer.
The title of my topic is : "BE TENACIOUS IN PRAYER!"

In Luke 18vs 1-8, Jesus told the disciples about the parable of the unjust Judge and the widow, who repeatedly and persistently begged the Judge and said , ' Grant me justice against my adversary '

Because of the woman's tenacity, the unrighteous Judge granted her request. Jesus emphasized this point to his disciples when he asked, ' Will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?' ( v 7).

It takes tenacity, shameless persistence and patience, to recover what Satan, our adversary, has stolen from us. But today many believers are not aware of that fact. Instead they search for spiritual shortcuts.

Many people are not prepared to persist and wait upon the Lord for answers. ( Isaiah 40vs 28-31). What some people need are quick solutions to their problems and challenges, which usually leads people to compromise their Christian faith and belief, due to lack of tenacity and patience. Remember, patience is virtue! It is part of the fruits of the spirit that measures one's growth in faith. ( Galatians 5vs22-23)

Of course,  there may be times when we can  name it and claim it!. But there are also times when we must intercede fervently, for many needs and situations which require earnest tenacity, before victory comes. ( James 5vs 15-18).

Remember, there are some things you can pray a prayer of faith on, and you pray one prayer and that is the end of it. You don't have to pray anymore; you just thank God for the answer.
( Mark 11vs 22-26).

But there are other things you cannot pray the prayer of faith on, for God to accomplish what he desires to accomplish. The art of intrecessory prayer will have to be resurrected.

Though your answer may be long in coming, be tenacious. When God hears your prayer of Faith, the answer is conceived at that moment. ( Daniel 10vs12-14). However, there can be some demonic interferences and hindrances that can prevent your angels from delivering answers to your payer requests, like in the case of Daniel.

If God 's response is delayed, continue to carry the petition in your heart. Don't allow yourself to grow weary as you bear the burden. Don't lose heart and give up, for by doing so, you will miss the answer God has prepared.

There can be miscarriages in prayer.  That thing conceived in the spirit can be aborted, if we cast away our confidence and refuse to wait on the Lord.

The Amplified Bible translates Matthew 7vs7 as follows; " Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking ( reverently) and the door will be opened to you.'

Jesus told the disciples that ' they should always pray and not give up' ( Luke 18:1). Remember, God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him ( Hebrews 11:6 ). Ephesians 6vs18 says, "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints"

To summarise, in order to appropriate God 's provision:
> You must first be in the will of God.
> You must believe that it is God's will to prosper you .
> You must be specific and tenacious in prayer.

This is how Jesus taught us to expect and experience God's provision. ( Jeremiah 29vs11-14, Hebrews 10:23, Hebrews 10:35-39).

Hannah is another good example of a prayer warrior and woman of substance, who prayed a tenacious prayer.
She was desperate,  but persistent in prayer and never gave up or got  discouraged. ( 1 Samuel 1 :4-24).

She prayed consistently and persistently, until she got what she wanted. Don't give up or surrender. Tenacity and persistence is required in our prayer lives, in order to receive God's provisions.

Wait upon the Lord!  ( Lamentations 3vs22-33).
Be tenacious in prayer!
Be desperate, but persistent in prayer!

Don't surrender!
Don't faint!
Don't quit!
Press on!
Pray without ceasing! ( 1Tessalonians 5vs17).

May God bless you and give you strength, to be tenacious in your prayer life.

Stay blessed!

BECAUSE OF THE LORD

Emmanuel!  The Lord is with us all the time. I am pleased to share a message entitled: " BECAUSE OF THE LORD". The scripture I am about to share is found in( 2 Samuel 11:2-5).

We know that David was a man after God's own heart. When God replaced Saul, he said to Samuel I have found one  after my heart. David had a deep relationship with God, although he had his own weaknesses as a human being. He still went before God to confess his sins and asked for forgiveness. (Psalm 51).

He wrote all the Psalms in the Bible. David was a type of a threat. David had many wives, amongst them three who were married, some were before they got married to David. These three are Bathsheba who was married to Uriah, Abgail who was. married to Nabal.  Michelle Saul's daughter who was married to Paltiel.

Of these three women, it was Bathsheba who gave birth to Solomon, who succeeded his father David. Again of these three women, it was Bathsheba who had her husband killed by David. David didn't kill Nabal. He was killed by God.  (1 Samuel 25:36-39).

David didn't kill Paltiel, but was given a restriction at Bahurim, by Abner who was sent by David. Bathsheba was married to Uriah and in their marriage they had no child. So there was no fruitfulness ( Uriah means stagnancy).

Bathsheba  went to bath near the palace and David saw her. Where do you bath? The significance of bathing is that, Bathsheba was bathing the former marriage away. David got Abigail from Nabal, through military strength, because he protected his servants from enemies. ( Nabal means fool). He got Michelle through his mighty power, because he killed 200 Philistines and circumcised them.       He gave their foreskins to Saul as a bride prize.

But instead Saul married her to Paltiel and when David became king he demanded his wife back. Paltiel means ( god of disorder). David got Bathsheba through revelation. Bathsheba was bathing close to the palace and bathing is a means of repentance. When you bath,  you use water and water represents the word of God.

Bathsheba fell pregnant, but the child died. The reason the child died, was because Bathsheba was still called wife of Uriah, yet she was carrying David's child. What God put in you dies if you still have your former character.

David comforted his wife. The Bible says, and he lay with her and Solomon was born. This time the identity of Bathsheba had changed. She was now called wife of David and she bore  a king. The child was named Jedidah. Meaning , "Because of the Lord." The name of the child was explaining the marriage of their parents, who were married because of the Lord.

So whatever you do with the Lord's approval and assistance will always succeed. ( Proverbs 16:1-3).  I want somebody right now to get to a level he or she will say,  had it not be for the Lord, I wouldn't be here. The Bible says in Zechariah 4:6, not by might nor by power,  but by my spirit. So David's wife of mighty Abigail, and his wife of power Michelle didn't produce a Solomon, but it was Bathsheba who came by bathing who did.

This moment I urge somebody to bath your former marriage away. Some of these marriages are not physical, but spiritual.
> You have been married to cancer, bath it away!
>You have been married to poverty, bath it away!
>You have been married to sugar diabetic, bath it away!
>You have been married to rejection, bath it away.
> You have been married to sickness and disease, bath away!
>You have been married to unforgiveness, bath it away!

If there is no fruitfulness in your life, you are married to Uriah ( stagnancy). Bathsheba had no child with Uriah.' Uriah means " stagnant "
 > Bath Uriah away in the name of Jesus.
If there is cofusion in your life, you are married to Nabal,  ( fool).
> Bath Nabal away!

If there is disorder in  your life, you are married to Paltiel ( god of disorder).
> Bath Paltiel away in the name of Jesus.

I am speaking a Jedidah in your life, right now in the name of Jesus. ( Because of the Lord).

Paltiel followed Michelle weeping and when they got to Bahurim, Abner said go back. The confusion that has  been following you, take it to Bahurim and send it back in the name of Jesus.
All ancestoral  and evil spirits that have been following you, are reversed and sent back to the source, in the name of Jesus . ( Psalm124:6-7).
Salvation is in our Bahurim and David, who stands for Jesus Christ.

Today I am speaking confusion, foolishness,  and stagnancy, out of your lives in the name of Jesus.
A Jedidah ( Solomon) is coming out from you.
Had it not been for the Lord.  WHERE WOULD I BE?

Somebody,  believe that because of the Lord, I will pass my exams.
> Because of the Lord I will get my promotion.
>Because of the Lord I will not fail in my business or ministry.
>Because of the Lord my marriage will not collapse.
> Because of the Lord I will get my job.

> Because of the Lord I will get married.
> Because of Lord my ears will hear again and my eyes will see again ( Mark 7:33-35).
> Because of the Lord I can do all things ( PHILLIPIANS 4:13).
> Because of the Lord I will never fail, because God never fails. ( John 14:13-14, Ephesians 3:20, Jeremiah 32:27, Matthew 19:26).

"BECAUSE OF THE LORD"  I HAVE NOW OVERCOME ALL THE OBSTACLES AND CHALLENGES OF LIFE.!
IT IS NOW WELL WITH ME, "BECAUSE OF THE LORD.

If you believe just say, I receive!
In the name of Jesus -AMEN!

May God richly bless you all!

SEEING CHALLENGES IN THE EYE OF VICTORY( APPLYING DYNAMICS OF FAITH)

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ. I feel encouraged to share the word of hope, at a time such as this. The title of the message is: " Seeing challenges in the eye of Victory".

There are people who are in bondage right now, and have lost hope. However, in a season of captivity and bondage, the Lord is saying, I have heard your cry and seen your suffering, I will set you free from your perpetual servitude and oppression. .(Exodus 3vs7-8, Exodus 3vs21-22).

After God has delivered you, it is not easy for the devil to leave easily. Resist the devil he will flee away from you. God is a strategist, he will strategize for you through the red sea. (Exodus 14vs13-17, James 4vs8). The red sea is a place of no return, where you face challenges with an eye of victory and stubborn faith. The Israelites were in a catastrophic situation , when they faced the red see, while being pursued by Egyptians behind. However, because of God's presence, victory was certain.

The Bible says, " And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
>The situation you are facing right now, you will soon see it no more.
>The demons that are following you today, you will soon see them no more.
"The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace." ( Exodus 14vs14).
>The battle is not yours, it is the Lord's. ( 2 Chronicles 20vs14-15).

Just say I am crossing over to the other side.
>God is about to immobilize the devil, who has been fighting your family.
>God is going to lift a standard for you  today.( Isaiah 59 vs 19). Almighty God ( Elshadai) ( Genesis 17vs11)
>God is going to be your revitilizer.
>The steps of a good man are ordered by God ( Psalm 37vs23).

The children of Israel after their release from captivity in Egypt, went through the wilderness.
Wilderness is a place of dryness, scarcity, poverty and desperation.
>The wilderness which you are experiencing now is not going to destroy you.
>Wilderness is a place where God wants to teach you the dynamics of faith.
>It is a place where you will learn to trust and depend on God. ( Proverbs 3vs5-6).

You need to know the dynamics of faith.
>The wilderness is only your classroom where you can learn that water will come out of the rock and manna will come out in the wilderness. ( Exodus vs 8-18; John 6vs 54-63, John 6vs35).
>It is a place where God will teach you the dynamics of faith.

Someone must have the faith of Caleb, who had an eye of victory in the midst of challenges.
He saw victory when others saw giants in the land of Canaan, after they returned from searching the land. ( Numbers 13vs 25-30).
Other people when they saw giants, they considered themselves to be like grasshoppers.
I discourage you from having a grass hopper mentality, by looking down upon yourself.

There are many people with such mentality of inferiority complex.
The problem that you have right now is not the size of your giants.
>The problem is in your mind.
>Small minds cannot understand the dynamics of faith.
>When you call yourself a grass hopper, you are closing the door of deliverance and blessings.

Although, they called you nobody in the past, today you will be delivered from that situation, after reading this message.
You need to re-organise your mind today and talk like a kingdom ruler.
Remember, the wilderness is a place of revelation.
You need more of the word, in order to withstand the giants and storms of life.

When you expose yourself to the word of God, you are exposing yourself to the thinking of God. ( Joshua 1vs8).
You must have the attitude of Caleb and Joshua today, of wanting to cross over to the other side.

You will cross over to your promised land.
>You will cross over to the land of plenty.
>You will cross over to your new job.
>You will cross over to your new marriage.
>You will cross over to your new career.
>You will cross over to your destiny in life.
>You will cross over to your land of divine health and abundance. ( 3 John 1v2).

It is now time for giving the devil eviction order, as you take over the land today in the name of Jesus.
Just say I am crossing over to the other side.
Further study scriptures of hope and victory are: (Ephesians 3vs20, Psalm 30vs5, Isaiah 59vs19, Psalm 91vs1-16, Psalm 23vs1-6, Psalm118vs6-10).

See challenges in the eye of victory, like Caleb, Joshua and David,
When David saw Goliath, he did not see a giant, but he saw victory, through his eye of faith in God.
The Bible says, " Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to the in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.( 1 Samuel 17vs45). I do not know whatever Goliath you are facing today, he will be defeated in the name of Jesus.

The Goliath of poverty, sickness, hatred, unforgiveness, unemployment and marital problem, is defeated in the name of Jesus.
God is able to defeat anything, through the power that is working inside you. ( Ephesians 3vs20).
Remember, greater is he who is in you, than he who is in the world. ( 1 John 4vs4).

See challenges in the eye of victory, because Christ overcame the world and all it's challenges.( John 16vs33). You can also overcome all challenges of this world and storms of life, in Christ Jesus, who is in you, the hope of glory.( Colossians 1vs26-27).

May God richly bless you all.

DON'T TIRE TO DO GOOD

Greetings in the name Jesus! In introducing my subject, I want to say in life there are people who are naturally good in helping other people , as well as doing good things in many areas of their lives. The subject I am talking about is entitled: ' Don't Tire to Do Good".

The Bible in Galatians 6vs 9-10, reminds us that we should not be tired in doing good or helping other people.
We should be generous and kind to other people, including our family members, as well as our neighbours.( 1 Timothy 5v8, John 13:34-35)

Remember, being prosperous means a lot more than amassing material wealth, it involves being able to take care of yourself, as well as helping others.

The scripture says, " And God is able to make all grace ( every favour and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self sufficient ( possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation). As it is written, He ( the benevolent person) scatters abroad; He gives to the poor, His deeds of justice and goodness and kindness and benevolence will go on and endure forever!" ( 2 Corinthians 9 vs8-9).

A prosperous man finds true joy and excitement in being able to reach out and extend love to others.
He is of a benevolent spirit, quick to give and derives satisfaction from helping others become prosperous. So if you want to know someone who is truly successful, find out how many people he has helped to become successful.

Some people, however, have had terrible experiences in trying to help others. They helped people start out well in life, probably they helped to eventually turn against them. So they got bitter and decided never to help anyone anymore. No, that is not the way of Christ.

Luke 6vs35 says, " But love ye your enemies and do good and lend, hoping for nothing again and your reward shall be great and ye shall be the children of the Highest, for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil."

Don't get bitter to the point you give up helping others, even when they prove to be undeserving of your help. Your unique gift is in your ability to render help to others and help them make their dreams come true, in spite of themselves. The Bible says, " If you have the gift of helping others, do it with strength that God supplies....." ( 1 Peter 4vs 11).

Keep helping others, whether or not they remember you or reciprocate your kindness. As you do, God will keep increasing you and multiplying your ability to be a blessing.

We are God's born again children, who carry Christ's love inside us and therefore should have the love to give and do good to other people, as God demonstrated the same love to us by offering His only begotten son to die for our sins. ( John 3vs16, 1 John 4:7-11).
Acts 10vs38 says, " How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and power, who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him."

Christ never got tired of doing good, in all His ministry life, while He was still here on earth and He continues to do good even today, because He is the same yesterday, today and forever. ( Hebrews 13vs8). Don't tire to do good!

Do not let  fear, doubt, unbelief, resentment and bitterness hinder you from your ministry as a blesser, a giver and lifter of others.
Always be excited and exuberant with faith, knowing that God is the one who rewards you for your  kindness and labour of love towards others.

There is also a reward for kindness and doing good to others, of long life ( Proverbs 22vs4).
Remember the Bible talks of a certain woman named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas, a woman who was full of good works and alms deeds, which she did who was raised after she had died as many people pleaded with Peter for her to be raised from the dead. Your good works  will always follow you.

The woman was rewarded for her good works by being raised from the dead. Tabitha helped the widows and the poor by giving them coats and garments which she made.

So we should not tire to do good, because in due season we shall be rewarded.
The scripture also says, " For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which you have shewed towards his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister." ( Hebrews 6vs10).

Keep on doing good.  "Don't tire to do good.

May God richly bless you all, as you read this message.

UNMMOVABLE FAITH AND COMMITMENT

Greetings in the name of Jesus.   I am excited to share a message entitled:  "Unmmovable  faith and Commitment". There are times in life when we face immense opposition in the world we live in,  as a way of trying to test our faith. ( 1 Corinthians 10:13, James 1:2-6).

We all know the story of Shadrach,  Meshach, and Abednego. Not only did Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego have faith, but they were committed to that faith, no matter what.

You see, it was a statement of faith when they said, " If you throw us into the fire,  our God Whom we serve is able to deliver us from the fiery furnace and will deliver us out of your hand." ( Daniel 3:17). Then they followed their statement of faith  by stating their commitment:  " But if not, be it known unto thee, O  king, that we will not serve thy gods,   nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up"  ( Daniel 3:18).

These three had stubborn and Unmmovable faith. Their faith was exhibited in their belief  that God was going to deliver them out of the fire. But their commitment to God was so strong that  even if He didn't deliver them, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego still wouldn't compromise and bow to the idol.

What a commitment! We need this kind of commitment and faith. They were going to continue to serve the Lord their God, no matter what. They were prepared and committed to go through fire in serving their Lord.

How many of us have this kind of faith and commitment today? People are easily shaken and moved by small things. But those who trust in God will never be shaken or moved. ( Psalm 125:1-2). People of God, it takes this kind of commitment to live a godly life in this world.

Yes, it is very important to have faith  in God. But you do not need only faith, you need commitment as well. You must be as committed as Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

You must be determined to live for God, even if you are the only one doing so. You must be determined to remain faithful to God without compromise. When some people are in the midst of challenges and and problems, they sometimes compromise their faith, in order to satisfy their immediate, pressing needs and desires. ( Isaih 43:1-3, 1 Corinthians 10:13, Romans 8:35-39). Trust in the Lord, with all your heart. Lean not on your own understanding. in everything, ask the Lord, He will direct your ways. ( Proverbs 3:5-6). Trust, Commit and believe, you will never be disappointed.

What shall separate us from the love of God? Nothing ! Above all challenges and storms of life, we are more than conquerors.  Let us remain committed in our faith. Remember, " Without faith it is impossible to please God............" ( Hebrews  11:6).
Be committed and determined to serve God without fear or doubt.

Remember, you have not been given the spirit of fear, but of love , power and sound mind.  ( 2 Timothy 1:7). So do not fear anyone, save God. Respect  people, but don't fear them. If God is on your side, what can man do to you and who can be against you? ( Romans 8:31, Psalm 118:5-10). No One! Be unmovable and unshaken, because greater is He who is in you, than he who is in the world. ( 1 John 4:4, Hebrews 12:26-28). Jesus Christ is your hope of glory. { Colossians !:26-27).

May God richly  bless you all!

THE REDEEMER HAS COME

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! As I was just reading the story of the "Good Samaritan " in  Luke 10vs 30-35, the Holy Spirit dropped something in my spirit to share. This is a common passage of scripture, where Jesus was teaching about relationships. The message I want to share is entitled "The Redeemer Has Come!"

Jesus said a man fell upon robbers who beat him and left him for dead. Man is made of spirit and flesh. When sin came in, it left us spiritually dead, so the other half side of the man was dead. If this man had  failed to get attention on time, the other half would have eventually died as well.
If the Spirit is dead, your flesh doesn't last, it also dies.

While this man was in this condition, there came a priest who passed by on the other side. Later on there came again a Levite who also passed by on the other side. These two were going to church, but had no time for a stranger and desperate person.

However, after the two men of God had both passed, there came a Samaritan who didn't  pass on the other side.
He came to him and bandaged the wounded man's wounds and poured oil and wine on him.

The priest when he came he had no solution for the wounds and  state of the wounded man. The priest represents a church. No church can pull you out of sin. That's the reason why some commit adultery, fornicate, lie, steal and do all sorts of things and still go to church every Sunday.

Some of us have positions in church, we sit in front chairs and  in sin we command front positions. Church is not the answer to a sinner. It passes on the other side. That is a priest - a person of law. Law has no compassion and love.

Then came a Levite who also did the same as the priest. A Levite represents a pastor. Again the pastor is not  an answer to the sinner. We all sin, but we have our pastors who pray for us, yet we live in sin. Having a pastor or Church doesn't guarantee one peace of the presence of God. We all need Jesus to survive storms of life.

After the priest and the  Levite had gone past, there came one who belonged to another country, a good Samaritan. He disembarked from his horse/ mule and attended to the wounds of the wounded man. The man was not empty handed, he had oil, which represents the Holy Spirit and wine, which is the  word of God (Matthew 4vs4).The man had money as well, which  is the provision from God. Ecclesiastes 10:19 says, " .........money answereth all things."

A spiritually dead person, before anything, needs the word of God and the Holy Spirit. Don't ever make a mistake of establishing your relationship with the church and pastor, before receiving Jesus first.

The Bible says, when he saw him he had compassion. When Jesus saw us wounded by the devil and left for dead, he had compassion and left his kingdom to attend to our wounds. When he was attending to the man he identified with him and put him on his own mule/ horse. Jesus  Christ didn't only take us out of sin, he also put us in His kingdom.      That is on his own mule. Remember, King David put Solomon in his  own rule.

It is only the word of God that raises a dead man. That is wine. ( Psalm 107vs20, Acts 3vs 5-7).            That is the reason Jesus in His first miracle, turned water into wine. If a dead man receives wine he resurrects. And if he resurrects and gets oil , he shines.

He was then taken to an Inn, that is now the church.  So its Jesus first, then church later. We have many people that are in Church without Jesus. This is why there is no increase and growth in the body of Christ.

A church attends to the people who are brought by Jesus. In Acts 2vs41-44 the Bible says, they continued together breaking bread and fellowshipping and the Lord added many to the church. ( Acts 2vs46-47).  Pastors can only shepherd and look after people who are saved by Jesus Christ.

The Samaritan even paid two denari to the Inn keeper. So let me preach the gospel of Jesus, I have two denari from the Lord. Wine, oil, the Samaritan's mule and the denari and then the Inn, the devil has no chance, you shall live again.

Your marriage is being revived and restored again.
Your business is coming up again.
You will make it in this land of the living, before you go to heaven or depart mother earth. ( Psalm 27vs13-14).
Your health will be restored again.  ( Joel 2vs25-27)
Your dignity shall be restored again.
Your work is coming up again.
Your relationship is being restored again.
You are now riding upon the Samaritan's mule, no - one shall stop you.

You have been marred and scarred all over, but now the wounds have been healed and cleansed by Jesus's precious blood. ( 1John 1vs7).
Broken hearted people's spirits have healed  and comforted  by the Redeemer. ( Jesus the good Samaritan).    ( Psalm 34vs17-19).

A Redeemer has come, one who does not choose your colour, education, tribe, race and status, but loves and cares for us all.
When Jesus comes in your life, things change and there will be a turn around in your life.

Come as you are into the Inn ( church).
Jesus is waiting is to attend to you all the time ( MATTHEW 11vs28-30).
In whatever condition you are in, he accepts and cares for you as you are.( Isaiah 1:18).
Cast all your cares upon Him, He will sustain and take care of you ( ! Peter 5vs7, Psalm 55vs22).

FORGIVENESS

Greetings in the name of Jesus. In introducing the above subject of forgiveness, I want to mention that because of many people who are offended and hurt , due to different offenses in life, some people are failing to forgive and forget. Forgiveness is very crucial and important in our spiritual journey. Unforgiveness is usually triggered by an offense which causes anger and bitterness.

The Bible says, " Be ye angry and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wraths neither give place to the devil. ( Ephesians 4vs26-27).

It is necessary that we break the cycle of offense, which causes unforgiveness and bitterness.
Many marriages, homes, families and churches have been divided because of offense. Sadly, this cycle continues because the offended person rarely realizes that they are the problem.
Unforgiveness is often triggered by an offense, anger and bitterness, leading many people to have scars in their hearts and fail to forgive and forget.

We should avoid corrupt communication which provokes anger, and whatever comes out of our mouths must be edifying and building one another. ( Ephesians 4vs29).
Let us not grieve the Holy Spirit by our corrupt communication and anger ( Ephesians 30).
" Let all bitterness and wrath and anger, and clamour and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice. and be kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you" ( Ephesians 4vs31-32).

Jesus said in Matthew 18vs7, that offenses will come. The issue is not whether  or not offenses will come, but how we handle them. To hold onto an offense brings unforgiveness, pain division and destruction. Releasing the offense and " letting it go" will bring peace and unity. God's plan for the believer is to live offense -free.

We need to be liberated from the fear of hurt and allow ourselves to enjoy the blessings of God.   Learn how you can be released from the cycle of offense. Try to accept rebuke, correction and advice, in order to develop the fruits of the spirit, that will enable you to forgive yourself first and other people. ( 2 Timothy 3vs 16, Galatians 5vs22-23).

To understand how to deal with the spirit of offense and break the cycle of offense you must know:
> How to deal with offense people.

>Offense keeps us from fulfilling God's plan in our lives.

>Offense carries serious repercussions that affect every aspect of our lives.

>Reasons why we get offended.

>How to release offense.

>How to keep from being offended.

It is important to know that offended people are everywhere - they are not only in the world, they are also in the church. No matter where you go in life, you can meet someone who is upset and offended.
Because offense is such a widespread problem, Satan uses it as a tool to detour or derail believers from what God has called them to do. Many people have destroyed their families, relationships, plans and visions because of unforgiveness that was caused by offense and anger.

The Greek word used for offense in the New Testament is "Skandalon" which can be translated "bait stick".
Offense is Satan's bait stick that allows him to destroy your life.
As long as you are determined to the offense, your freedom will escape you. While you desperately cling to the bait, the devil effortlessly moves in with death and destruction.

The devil will instil fear and hurt in you, bitterness which leads to stress, fatigue, high blood pressure, hypertension and sugar diabetes. This is the bait that is destroying many people.

As I continue with the subject of forgiveness, I want to define what forgiveness is about?

What is the definition for forgiveness?

Answer:-

The definition of forgiveness could be -giving up my right to hurt you, for hurting me. It is impossible to live on this earth planet without getting hurt, offended, misunderstood, lied to, and rejected.

Learning how to respond properly is one of the basics of the Christian life. The word forgive means to wipe the state clean, to pardon, to cancel a debt. ( Colossians 2vs13-14).

When we wrong someone, we seek his or her forgiveness in order for the relationship to be restored.
It is important to remember that forgiveness is not granted because a person deserves to be forgiven. Instead, it is an act of love, mercy, and grace. If you love someone you will forgive and show mercy and compassion towards one another. ( 1 John 4vs7-18).

How we act towards that person may change. It doesn't mean we will put ourselves back into a harmful situation or that we suddenly accept or approve of the person's continued wrong behaviour. It simply means we release them from the wrong they committed against us.

We forgive them because God forgave us (Ephesians 4vs31-32, Romans 5vs8). What does God say about forgiveness?
The Bible gives much instruction when it comes  to forgiveness,
We forgive because we have been forgiven by God ( Isaiah 43vs25, Ephesians 4vs32). We forgive in obedience to God (Matthew 6vs14-15, Romans 12vs14-18).

We forgive others to gain control of our lives from hurt emotions ( Genesis 4vs 1-8, Genesis 45vs1-8). If you haven't forgiven you do not have full control of your life. The person who offended you will control your life, peace, joy and freedom. We forgive so that we won't become bitter and defile those around us ( Hebrews 12vs 14-15).

What if I feel like forgiving others?

There are times we do not feel like forgiving those who have wronged us. It is easier to act our way into feeling than to feel our way into acting. Having a nature of not forgiving others brings about bitterness and bitterness has been linked to stress -related illnesses by some medical researchers. Some of the diseases caused by unforgiveness are high blood pressure and hypertension, stress and depression, as I mentioned earlier on.

Remember, depression are thinking thoughts that can weigh you out and destroy your health and ego. By forgiving others, we free ourselves spiritually and emotionally.

Forgiveness is an act of our own personal will in obedience and submission, to God's will trusting God to bring emotional healing. ( Proverbs 22:4, Hebrews 4vs16).

How can I help those struggling with forgiveness?

People who have experienced abuse, trauma or loss need time to sort things out and let God bring them to the place of forgiveness in His time. God's timing is always the right time for each individual.
The act of forgiving others is between us and God. The only time we need to forgive a person face to face is at the moment we are asked by that person to forgive them for hurt they have caused.( Matthew 18vs25-35; Psalm 43vs25).

There are things we can do to help those struggling with forgiveness of others. We can support them with encouraging words and listening to them. Taking our time and being gentle with them will allow them to progress through the steps of forgiveness the way God wants them to proceed.
The devil wants to steal your joy and peace, he wants to destroy your vision and future plans, he wants to kill your opportunities, and kill all your hope and purpose for life. ( John 10vs10).

Remember, Satan has no new strategies - he uses the same old tactics to prevent Christians from producing fruit. And because offense prevents God from moving freely in your life, it has become one of Satan's most effective strategies. Whether you realize it or not, hurt and offense are designed specifically to prevent the Holy Spirit from bringing God's blessing in your life ( 2 Corinthians 2vs 11-18, Isaiah 59vs 1-4, 19.

Offense stops the blessing of God. Jesus expressed the benefit of remaining unaffected by offense in order to receive our breakthrough and worship the Lord freely. ( Matthew 11vs4-6).

Offense comes with a purpose and a number of objectives. The devil will bring offense in order to destroy you, your anointing, your marriage, your family, your finances, and your friendships.
Another reason offense comes is to disrupt your communion with God.

Mark 11vs25 says, " And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses".

This verse clearly reveals the connection between forgiving others and being forgiven by
God. Offense will not only produce a barrier between you and God which hinders your prayer life, it will keep you in a constant state of being upset towards the person who has offended you.

Many times, the person with whom you are angry doesn't even realize that they have done something to hurt you. So while you are being eaten up with hurt and unforgiveness, they remain care-free. However, the issue is not whether the hurt was intentional or not, what matters instead is that unforgiveness and offense are not allowed to take root in your life.

The third reason the devil brings offense into your life is to steal the word of God that has been sown in your heart. ( Mark 4vs14-17). After the word of God has been sown in your heart, the devil will immediately bring trials, tribulations, and persecution for one purpose, to steal the word of God before it takes root.

The Greek word "Skandalizo" is not only translated "offend," but also "stumble". That means when someone is offended, there is a stumbling block in their path, prohibiting any advancement.
Although these people receive the word with gladness, they have no root in themselves, (Mark 6vs2-5, Matthew 7vs11).

Unforgiveness is one of the many reasons for offense,  - such as being oversensitive - People who are overly sensitive are easily offended-making everyone nearly feel like they must walk on egg shells, there is also unrealistic expectations -Another person who is easily offended is one with a root of bitterness - falling victim to unrealistic or unfulfilled expectations.

Rebellion -Someone with a spirit of rebellion , who refuses to submit to any form of biblical correction or authority, can succumb to offense. There is also the critical spirit - still, others harbour a critical spirit -finding fault with everyone and everything.

Most people who refuse to forgive or even release the offense, have so much pride that they don't truthfully see themselves.
We need to keep our hearts clean from offense, so that we can serve the Lord freely and joyfully.
( Proverbs 4vs23, Jeremiah 17vs9-10, Psalm 51vs10-17).

A person who keeps an offense in their heart is in prison and lives in a cage because of unforgiveness. Such a person has no freedom and peace.

Let us forgive and forget, as the Lord forgave us and does not remember our past ( Colossians 2vs12-14, Isaiah 43vs25).

In conclusion, I pray that the Holy Spirit, may help us to release everything from our hearts, which may be hindering our prayer life right now, in the name of Jesus - Amen!

May God richly bless you all !!

GOD'S WORD IS TRANSFORMATIVE

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! I am delighted to share the message entitled:" God's Word is Transformative." The word of God is the nutrition and vitamin for our spiritual sustenance and survival. The word of God transforms the thinking and behaviour of all living beings.

It has the power to change the way we think, talk, behave, walk and relate with other people.

What is to transform?
To transform is:-
>To change in form, appearance, or structure, metamorphose.
>To change in condition, nature, or character, convert - like Saul who later changed to Paul, is a good example of a convert who changed
in character and behaviour. ( Acts 9vs1-10).

>To increase or decrease (voltage and current characteristics) as by means of a transformer.
.>To change the form of (a figure, expression etc. ) without in general changing the value.
>To change into another form of energy.
>To undergo a change in form, appearance, or character, become transformed.

What is transformation?

Transformation is:-
>The act or process of transforming.
>The state of being transformed.
>The change in form, appearance, nature, or character.

Therefore, it means that when we talk of transformation or metamorphosis, is a complete change of form, structure or substance or it can also refer to any total change in appearance, character or behaviour, a person , thing or chemical process.

The Bible in Acts 11vs25-26, says Then Barnabas went on to Tarsus to look for Saul. When he found him, he brought him back to Antioch. Both of them stayed there with the church for a full year, teaching large crowds of people. ( It was at Antioch that the believers were first called Christians)."
( Transformation took place as believers were given a new name).

So people were transformed by the preaching of the word of God and as a result they repented, believed and were born again as new creatures. ( 2 Corinthians 5vs17). The Bible says when we are in Christ we become new creation and all things of the past are passed ad we are transformed to become Christians. ( New Life, New Beginning).

Remember, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. ( Romans 10vs17).
However, it is pertinent to mention that although the word of God is transformative, the process of transformation takes place within a period of time, as people continue to feed on the word of God.

Salvation is a one time experience, but spiritual life is a life time experience.
The word of God if obeyed can bring healing to our bodies. ( Proverbs 4vs23). The word of God can bring deliverance and restoration.( Luke 4vs18vs19, Matthew 4vs23-24).
When the word of God is preached, people hear the word, understand it, accept it and then act on the word as a response to its effectiveness to our lives being transformed and changed.

Jesus in John 15vs 5-7, says " Yes, I am the vine, you are the branches, those who remain in me and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing". Jesus Christ is the word, truth and he is the bread of life, that transforms our lives ( John 6vs35).
Be careful on what you feed your spirit with.

A transformed Christian bears fruits and some of the fruits are love, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. However, as the word penetrates our minds and hearts as well as our whole bodies we are able to subject the desires of our flesh, under the power of the Holy Spirit. ( Galatians 5vs16-23).

In Romans 12vs2, the Bible says, "Don't copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you , which is good and pleasing and perfect," ( NLT).

Brethren, there are systems and patterns of this world which destroy God's people, if they are not transformed by the word of God. People of the world have certain behaviour patterns and habits as well as fashions which some Christians are also caught in or trapped by the so called fashion and end up behaving as people of the circular world. The kind of language, behaviour, hair styles and dressing and entertainments, do not befit Christians who claim to be born again. ( Acts 26vs20).

Jesus said although we are in the world we are not of the world as he is not of this world and therefore our character and behaviour must imitate Christ who is the visible image of the invisible God. ( Philippians 2vs5-11). We should  have the mind of Christ ( 1 Corinthians 11vs1).

It is important to note that our minds are a battlefield and we have to renew our minds with the word of God. The Bible says, " We use God's mighty weapon not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and destroy false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that prevents people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. And after you have become fully obedient, we will push everyone who remains obedient. ( 2 Corinthians 10vs4-6).

The mind is a battlefield of arguments and strongholds, that prevent or fight against God's word that is meant to transform us from the pattern and systems of this world.

We must continue to feed our spirits and minds with the word  of God. ( Joshua 1vs8, Colossians 3vs16, Matthew 12vs34-37).
The Bible says, " For the word  of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires."( Hebrews 4vs12 NLT).

Jesus said, " the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life." ( John6vs6vs63 NLT). This means that if the word is spirit, it has the ability to penetrate anywhere inside our bodies and deal with any part of our bodies, bringing transformation to our being. If the body needs healing, deliverance, peace, comfort, spiritual growth and change of behaviour and character the word of God is transformative and can create in us a new person with new character and behaviour.

When we talk of a two-edged sword cutting between soul and spirit, we are referring to the word delivering  your mind and your unborn again spirit, rebellious spirit, by the word. All demonic influences and powers of darkness affecting your lives are totally removed and destroyed.

You must desire and treasure the word of God all the time. Job said, "I have not departed from his commands, but have treasured his words more than daily food' ( Job 23vs12,NLT). It means for the word to totally transform you it must become your daily food. ( Matthew 4vs4). You can as a transformed and totally delivered Christian resist the influence of Satan, if you are well equipped with the word. Desire more of the word  than food!

Psalm 42vs1-2 says, " As a dear longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God". I thirst  for God, God the living God. When can I go and stand before him? ( NLT)

The word of God transforms you into becoming a Christian by behaviour and character. The word of God can transform your family, society, and country at large. ( 2 Chronicles 7:14). The word of God can heal our land and economy.

Your prayer today should be that you must ask God to give you the power to desire more of his word, so that your behaviour and faith can be transformed to a true Christian.

Jesus said God is spirit and those who desire to worship him, must worship in spirit and in truth". ( John 4vs 23-24).

I sense in the spirit right now as I write this message, that there are people who sleep when they are reading the Bible, but when you give the same people a novel they are able to read and finish it without falling asleep. Such people need deliverance and the Holy Spirit to fill them so that they can be transformed and revived.( John 14vs26, John 15vs26, John 16vs13).

In conclusion, I want to say that when you begin to love the Lord with all that is within you, it will be a sign of total rejuvenation, revitalization and re-invigoration and restoration to a true full Christian. ( Mark 12vs30, Psalm 103vs1-6).

Your mind, ears, eyes, tongue, hands, and all other organs within you, need to be totally delivered and transformed ( Galatians 5vs16, Romans 8vs5-11, Colossians 4vs2, Colossians 3vs

May the Lord give you a new heart and put in a new spirit in you. Let the Holy Spirit through the power of God's word take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. May the Lord also put his spirit in you, so that you will follow his decrees and be careful to obey his word, ( Ezekiel 36vs25-27).

Let me end by saying, from today onwards, your focus and priority, must be to seek God's Kingdom and his righteousness and all other things will be given unto you, when you are transformed by his word. ( Matthew 6vs33).

Remember, God's word is transformative!

May God richly bless you.

UNGODLY ANGER

SHALOM! I just want to share a message entitled : "UNGODLY ANGER." Anger is an emotion often characterized by feelings of great displeasure, indignation, hostility, wrath, and vengeance.

Many times anger is how we express our dissatisfaction with life. It is the fruit of rotten roots, and it steals our joy.  " Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry for anger resteth  in the bosom of fools." ( Ecclesiastes 7:9). The Bible also says, " Let all bitterness, and wrath,  and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice." ( Ephesians 4:31).

Some roots that lead to anger include insecurity, fear of confrontation, and a feeling of being controlled by a job or other people and their problems.

One of the primary roots of anger often sterms from the family. Angry people come from angry families, because they learn from their role models and perpetuate the same behavior in their own lives, eventually passing it on to their children.

If you have anger in your heart or your home, don't feel condemned. In fact, God has equipped us with the feeling and emotion of anger for a reason.

When kept in balance, the emotion of anger serves a good purpose. If we were not able to become angry, we would never know when someone was mistreating us. That is the purpose of anger.

Like pain, it is there to warn us that something is not right.  Our job is not so much to try to get rid of anger, but to learn how to handle it. The Word teaches us the proper way to deal with this emotion: " When angry, do not sin, do not ever let your wrath ( your exasperation, your fury or indignation) last until the sun goes down" (Ephesians 4:26).

If you want the great and mighty things God has for you, you must get to the root of your anger and deal with it. God wants to bless you, but anger opens the door for the devil to try to stop  those blessings and keep you from accomplishing the will  of God in your life.

The Bible says, " Don't give the devil a foothold" ( Ephesians 4:27). Anger can be a barrier to our breakthrough.

Anger is a Spirit that must be controlled,  as it may be destructive. Let us strive to control ungodly anger. "A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger"( Proverbs15vs1). It is also important to know, how to respond when you are provoked.

" He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city" ( Proverbs 16:32). The scripture also says, " Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy?" ( Proverbs 27:4).

We must try by all means to control unrepentant anger, because it is dangerous and harmful. Many people regret after a catastrophic act, caused by ungodly anger, as they only realize the wrong doing, when they are already  in jail or hospital.   Stop ungodly anger, and repent!

Stay  blessed and joyful all the time.

Defeating A Defeated Enemy!

Shalom! I am pleased to share a message titled:  " Defeating a Defeated  Enemy".  It is important that we allow the Heavenly Father to be our Best Friend. It is also important that we read the Word of God, because if we are going to ask for things "according to His will," we need to know what His will is. And if we are going to keep our mind in peace, we need to keep our mind on the Word.

The Bible says, " And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
And if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him." ( 1 John 5vs14-15.

There are many scriptures in the Bible on the subject of peace. Find those scriptures, read them, take them to heart, and think about them throughout the day, and they will give you peace. The Bible says, " Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out  of it are the issues of life."  (Proverbs 4:23).       It is also important that we pray, spending time talking to God on regular basis. Paul in Ephesians 6:18, says, " Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. "

And if we want to live a truly peaceful life, we must also guard our mind and control our thought life. It is important that we do something about our thoughts. The mind can be a powerful ally or awesome enemy. God has said our mind will stay in perfect peace if we will keep our mind  ( thoughts) on the Lord. The Bible says, " Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee" ( Isaih 26:3).

The enemy is out to get you.  According  to John 10:10, He is out to steal from you, to kill you, and to destroy you. First Peter 5:8 says, " Be sober, be vigilant,  because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour."

The scripture does not say that Satan is going to devour you. It says he is seeking for someone he may devour. In other words , He is searching for people who will allow him to devour them. What does First Peter 5:7 say? It says, " Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."  We don't need to cast just part of our care on the Lord. This verse says to cast all of it on Him.

Remember,  Satan specializes in worry. He specializes in fear. He also specializes in anxiety, confusion and doubt. Those are his specialities. And he will bring those to your mind if you allow him to do so.

The devil is not a gentleman like the Holy Spirit. If you crack the door open just a little bit, the devil will kick it wide open. And your mind is the bull's eye of Satan's target. That is why the Bible says, we are not to give place to the devil ( Ephesians 4:27). Don't allow him to dominate your thought life.

If you allow yourself to think negative thoughts, you will be defeated. If you allow yourself to worry, you will be defeated. If you allow yourself to be in fear, you will be defeated. You cannot think defeat and expect victory. You cannot think sickness and expect health. You cannot think poverty and expect wealth.

Whatever you allow yourself to think on will become what you expect. And that will be exactly what you receive. " As the man thinketh, so is he, ....." ( Proverbs 23:7). You can be held captive, by your mind ( thoughts)   ( 2 Corinthians 10:3-5). I know we live in a negative society. However, let us guard against the " Battlefield of the Mind," by thinking positively all the time. We need to constantly renew our minds with the word of God (Romans 12vs2).

Just think about the news you watch daily, it is not "news" unless it is bad. I can also confirm  it as a media practioner myself that, " A scoop" is usually something which is negative or bad. That is what makes "news" and will make an impact and a good " Agenda setting story!" So it is same with negative thoughts or thinking,  it affects one' s life.

The good that happens is no longer considered newsworthy. Even in the Christian world, we are quicker to tell the bad things that have happened rather than the good things

For example you rarely see someone rush up to you at church and say,  " Did you hear about Preacher So-  and -so?  Their marriage is so strong!  They are really great examples to the Body of Christ." No, it is just the opposite that most people are so quick to talk about.

Satan constantly bombards our minds with negative thoughts. He is constantly trying to confuse us and keep us from the peace that we can experience with God.

And Satan will succeed unless we replace the negative thoughts with positive thoughts from God's Word. ( Joshua 1:8, PHILLIPIANS 4:6-7).

Let  us defeat the defeated enemy, by thinking positively and speaking positively, all the time! ( Proverbs 18:21 ).       "..........
......Let the weak say, I am strong." ( Joel 3:10).

THINK POSITIVELY AND SPEAK POSITIVELY, TO DEFEAT THE DEVIL!

May God bless and protect you all the time.

Knowing your God Personally

Greetings in the name of Jesus. I am pleased to share a message titled:  " Know your God Personally!  ". It is crucial and important to have a personal relationship with God, than just having the zeal of God. The Bible says, " Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. " ( Romans 10:1-2).

Apostle Paul here, had witnessed a group of God's children who had the zeal of God, whom they did  not know. It is one thing to have the zeal to go to church, sing and praise,  without having the knowledge of the one you will be worshipping or praising. The Bible also says, " My people perish , because of lack of knowledge, .....".......
( Hosea 4:6).

Knowledge is having more valuable  information about the word of God and applying it in our daily  Christian walk, in order to build our faith in God. We have many people,  who are still infants in the things of God, because all they have is the zeal and interest in going to church as well as participating in all church activities, but their faith in God and word knowledge is still  at embryonic stage.

These are the  same people,  whom Paual in 1 Corinthians 3:1-7, was referring to who were  still spiritual babies. They live in flesh only   and not being led by the Holy spirit. ( Galatians 5:16:16-18). Such people fuel,  and cause divisions in the body of Christ, because of their fleshy desires.

The scripture in 1 Peter 2:1-2, says, " Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speaking, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: " People with the above weaknesses,  belong to cliques and unrepentant groups,  that discriminate and hate each other (Acts 26:20)

Those that know their God will be strong and do exploits. They are not shaken by jealous and hatred, as well as gossip. ( Daniel 11:32). When you feed your spirit with the right stuff, you grow spiritually and will not be engaged in retrogressive practices and activities, that destroy the body of Christ.

Having a personal relationship with Jesus is the first step and stage of salvation, before spiritual growth and maturity.  (  2 Corinthians 5:17). When you are in Christ you become a new creation and the past will be over. You put on the new garment of salvation, having removed the jacket of darkness and sin of origin in your life.

In  1 Corinthians 3:1-7, the Christians at CORINTHI,  were  divided and claimed to either  belong to Apollos  or Paul. However, apostle Paul urged the Christians to be united and fellowship together in harmony and peace, so that they could grow and mature in their faith in God. They needed thorough teachings of the word,  in order to eradicate divisions in the church.

This category of Christians,  who display immaturity and  arrogance, need deliverance to cast out different types of demons tormenting their lives ( Ephesians 6:11-13).

Meanwhile, there  were different Christians like those who were at Berea, who searched scriptures, because they desired to know more of the word of God.  "These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were  so."  ( Acts 17:11).  We can only grow in knowing God and increase in our faith, if we dwell in His Word daily. "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." ( 2 Timothy 2:15). We have to analyse scriptures and understand the meaning of every word in the Bible.

After Moses had failed to take the children of Israel to the promised land, God anointed and appointed Joshua through Moses,  to take over the relay stick,  for propelling the mission of God. Moses emphasised the need for Joshua to stay connected to God through the word of God. He said, "  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, .............for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and thou shalt have good success." ( Joshua 1:8).

Knowledge of the word of God, gives us boldness and confidence,  to press on in our Christian walk and faith in God. It must also be our desire and prayer that many people should repent and be born again. ( Romans 10:9-10).

Furthermore, let us also wish that many people may  come to the knowledge and  understanding of  him whom they believe and worship,  in truth and in Spirit. ( John 4:24, Hebrews 11:6). Without faith,  it is impossible to please God.

Knowing God is life , but lack of knowledge, is ignorance and spiritual disaster.  We must draw near to God, and develop a personal relationship with Him, through the power of prayer, fasting, reading the word and meditation.  ( James 4:8, Collosians 3:16-17,  Ephesians 6:18, ).

Let us ask the Holy Spirit to help us fight a good fight of faith, and enable us to remember the scriptures as we pray and worship Him.  ( John 14:26, John 16:13, 1 Timothy 6:12).

Finally, let me mention that we need the zeal of God, to be mixed with the word and faith in order to grow spiritually and achieve our purpose for life, as well as reach our destiny in life.

Remember, "Where there is no vision ,  the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. " ( Proverbs 29:18).  We need the revelation and wisdom, to survive storms of life and grow spirutually, and not just the zeal for God and passion.

DESIRE TO KNOW YOUR GOD PERSONALLY!

              May God richly bless you.

Receive your Healing!

SHALOM! I just want to share a message entitled : " Receive Your Healing." The Bible says, " Is there no balm in Gelead, Is there no Physician there? Why then is there no recovery For the health of the daughter of my people?" ( Jeremiah 8:22). " Heal me, O Lord , and I shall be healed; Save me,  and I shall be saved, For you are my praise. " ( Jeremiah 17:14).

Jesus Christ is the healer of all physical and emotional infirmities. Let the Lord do a work in you. If you want physical healing, He wants to heal your body. If you need emotional healing, He wants to heal your heart. It is allright to yield to Him. Pour your heart to Him . Let the pain go in the name of Jesus. Let the past go. Let those hurts and scars and memories all go

. Forget about the former things. Focus on the future, for God to do new things in your life. ( ISAIH 43:18-20). Let the Lord do a work in you. God is not in a hurry. He has all the time in the world for you. Don't believe the lie that it is too late for you. You are not late or running behind. You are right where God wants you, and this is your time.

I can sense that you are worried and stressed, because you think things are not moving according to your expectations. Remember God has His own calendar and time of doing things in our lives. (Ecclesiastes  3:1-8, ISAIH 40:31).

In order for you to accomplish what God wants you to do,  you have to be made whole. You have to be healed inside and out. And God wants to do that. Don't worry about what your spouse might think or what your family or friends might think. Your restoration is too important. God has not forgotten you. He wants to heal you and set you free, so that you can be the person He has destined you to be!

Maybe you have become so depressed that you have thought of ending your life. Maybe you think it would be better for your family if you just ended it all. If you have  had those thoughts, the Lord wants to deliver you.

He sees your situation and what you have been through. Your life is precious to Him! He wants to heal you and turn your situation around so that you can  live the long, abundant life, on this earth that He has promised you. ( Psalm 91:14-16).

As you trust in the Lord and totally rely upon Him, He is going to see you through the recovery process, no matter how it takes to be healed. And He will see you through and cause you to be strong and to minister God's healing power to those around you.

Are you ready to trust Him? Lift up your faith right now and expect your miracle healing. Just believe and you will receive your healing and deliverance in the name of Jesus.

" Receive Your Healing! "  By the stripes of Jesus you  are healed! ( 1 Peter 2:24). AMEN!

 Stay blessed and Stress free!

Patience and Endurance ( Don't Jump out of the Boat!

Emmanuel! Blessed saints of God.  I just want to share a small message dropped in my spirit as I was reading the Bible in Mark 4:35-41. The title of my message is : " DON'T JUMP OUT OF THE
BOAT".

People of God it is important for us to learn to wait on God and His timing. Patience and Endurance is what you need,  in order to survive in this world of many happenings and storms of life. You may think that the Lord is silent, but He is watching over you all the time( 2 Chronicles 16:9).

Sometimes He is keeping still for just the right season.  I know it is hard to be still; we all get fidgety (Impatient). We  often jump out of the boat, before God can take us safely to the other side ! How about if the disciples in the scripture in Mark, had become nervous and jumped out of the  ship?

They were on a boat crossing to the other side when a storm arose midway through the journey. Of  course Jesus, was sleeping through the storm. (  This was the time for Jesus to relax and rest).

What if the disciples had grown impatient and jumped out of the boat? Then Jesus couldn't have said, "Peace, be still" ( Mark 4:39). Jesus might  be saying to you right now, " Peace, be still." And you may be trying to jump out of the boat. If you jump out of the boat, you may drown!

It is very  important to be patient and to wait for God - to go through the season of waiting and follow God 's timing. There are many seasons that we have to go through, while we are still hear on mother earth, in the land of the living.

There are seasons of commitment, preparation, waiting and proving. ( COMMIT, PREPARE, WAIT AND PROVE). Are you willing to commit to God 's call on your life?

Remember during the time of waiting you must be prepared to face challenges,  trials and temptations! Many people do not want to wait for a long time.
Impatience is a weakness for many believers and non believers.

Abide in Christ the boat of life and you will land safely on the other side( John 15:7, John 6:35).  Outside the boat, there are too many storms and demonic attacks.
Stay in the boat, don't panic and jump off the boat.

Patience and endurance is what you need, as you wait upon the Lord, for your breakthrough, at God's appointed time.
( ISAIH 40:28-31, Hebrews 10:35-39, James 1:1-4, Hebrews 10:35-39, 1 Corinthians 10:13, Psalms 30:5).

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy will surely come in the morning.

"DON'T JUMP OUT OF THE BOAT".AMEN!
May God strengthen and richly bless you!

PRESS ON! DON'T QUIT: DON'T GIVE UP!

Greetings in the name of Jesus! The theme I am going to be dwelling on  in my sermon, as I try to build and strengthen your faith is Press on: Don't quit: Don't give up".

The Bible says, " What shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for slaughter. Nay, ( Nothing) in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us" ( Romans 8vs35-39).

Things may not be right in our lives right now, but it does not mean that God has deserted us.
He is still God and he will not leave us or forsake us ( Hebrews 13vs5-6).

Life is full of different experiences, challenges, surprises and obstacles, that call for prayer warriors and people of great faith in God's word. In times of difficulties and storms of life, women of substance and men of courage , survive persecution and falling, due to spiritual maturity in the word of God, as they fight a good fight of faith.

Remember, life is a journey full of surprises, both positive and negative, but those who know their God, will always be strong to face whatever circumstance in life. ( Daniel 11vs32).

Paul says, " We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed". ( 2 Corinthians 4vs 8-9). We must learn to persevere and endure suffering, but knowing that the good things come out of hard work and patience.

The Bible in 2 Samuel 21 vs 10 says, " And Rizpah the daughter of Aiah took sack cloth, and spread it for her upon the rock from the beginning of harvest until water dropped upon them by day, nor the beasts of the field by night".
Rizpah, is the woman whose grief touched the heart of a king. Rizpah burned with love for her two sons.

Before I go further in this story, I want to give a brief background of what had happened in the past, which caused all the suffering which the Israelites were now experiencing, including long famines and droughts, as they faced dry seasons through lack of rains. There was a curse upon the children of Israel after Soul had killed the Gebionites who had been spared by Joshua, in a covenant made between the two groups.

Now when David asked what the Gebionites wanted him to do, they said they wanted to be appeased with human blood and they wanted Soul's own children or grandsons to be hanged. He gave five grandsons and two of Soul's children born by Rizpah, who were slained to death. This led to Rizpah mourning her dead children for a long period, without ceasing. ( Ephesians 6vs18).

Rizpah demonstrated the highest degree of commitment and focus in the things of God.
Because of her love towards her children, although they had been slained, she refused to be moved by anything and she fought all odds, to protect the slain bodies of her two sons.

If the love of a woman for her sons could make her prolong her mournful vigil for so long a period, shall we be weary of considering the sufferings of our blessed Lord? She drove away birds of prey, and shall not we chase from our meditations, those worldly and sinful thoughts which defile both our minds and sacred things upon which we are occupied? We need to chase away fear and doubt, as we press on in our faith in God. Away, you birds of evil wing!
Leave the sacrifice alone! She bore the heats of summer, the night dews and the rains, unsheltered and alone. She defied all odds.

Sleep was chased away from her weeping eyes; her heart was too full for slumber.
She never left and must have barely slept.
Pray without ceasing and endure all night prayers and fellowship gatherings to overcome challenges, that may draw you back.

Remember, seasons come and seasons go. But you must learn as a child of God to press on and do not quit, because of circumstances that appear to be beyond your imagination.
God is there to watch over with you round the clock. He neither sleeps or slumber. ( Psalm 121vs 1-8). Rizpah here plays the role of a watchman or Mighty Defender himself, God. ( Deuteronomy 32vs4).

This grieving mother stayed there until the rains began to fall, about five months, probably from about May to October. How horrible for her to see the bodies of her boys begin to rot and swell as they decomposed.

Behold how she loved her children! Shall Rizpah thus endure and shall we start at the first little inconvenience or trial? Are we such cowards that we cannot bear to suffer with our Lord? She chased away even the wild beasts, with courage unusual in her sex, and will not be ready to encounter every foe for Jesus' sake? These, her children were slain by other hands than hers, and yet she wept and watched: what ought we to do, who have by our sins crucified our Lord?
Our obligations are boundless, our love should be fervent and our repentance thorough.

To watch with Jesus should be our business, to protect His honour our occupation, to abide by his cross our solace. Regardless of challenges and problems, let us watch over our faith with the Lord.

Those ghastly corpses might well have afflicted Rizpah, especially by night, but in our Lord, at whose cross foot we are sitting, there is nothing revolving, but everything attractive. Never was living beauty so enchanting as a dying Saviour. Jesus, we will watch with you yet a while, as you graciously unveil yourself to us, then shall we not sit, beneath sack cloth, but in a royal pavilion, if we persevere to the end as we fight a good fight of faith.

This is indeed a very good example of fighting a good fight of faith, despite facing a heartrending and painful experience. Although she was grieving and mourning, she knew how to boldly watch over her faith, least she could fall or be tempted. ( 1 Timothy 6vs12, 2 Timothy 4vs7-8).

Instead of seating on a comfortable bed or pillow, while mourning, she chose to be in solitary confinement in her own closet with the Lord as she set on a rock. The rock that is not shaken is Jesus. and it is the reason why she could not fall or surrender in her fight for justice and freedom as one of the greatest woman of faith and commitment to God. ( Hebrews 12vs26-28).

The same rock is the word of God and the living water that quenches thirsty souls. If you live and sit on the word you cannot be shaken easily. ( Hebrews 4vs12, Colossians 3v16, Colossians 4vs16).
Though this woman was desperate,  she was persistent in her commitment to God in prayer and meditation.

There are many examples of such women and men like Daniel and others, in the Bible, who although there were bitter, but they could still persevere and persist in their prayer lives like Hannah, who poured her heart to God , until she told God what she wanted. ( 1 Samuel 1vs9-18). Finally, she got her own child, Samuel.

We need to feed our spirits with the word of God and then watch and pray all the time , in order to overcome challenges and storms of life.

Rizpah's story remains an example of motherly love and determination to see justice served and that faith, strength and hope are rewarded. ( Galatians 5vs22-23).
I think of her as a real woman and she was not real as you and I. She was flesh and blood then and a spiritual example today.

As I continue with the word of encouragement, in times of suffering and desperation, the Bible also says, " For the bed, is shorter than that ( a man) can stretch himself  ( on it) and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself ( in it). ( Isaiah 28vs20).

We know that when the bed sheets are narrow a man cannot cover himself to be warm and comfortable.
Here is another desperate and uncomfortable situation faced by the children of Israel.
This is a common experience with all of us today.
Things are not balancing and you are faced with a small piece of cake that you must share amongst yourself as a family. Many times it is the mother ( woman ) who has to sacrifice so much that they may even go without food as long as family has got. You have to face reality in this life.
Here the bad is too short and the blankets are too small for comfort and cover.

There are also people who lay on the bed of their own righteousness, not submitting to Christ and his righteousness, and covered themselves with rags of their on doings, and not with the garments of his salvation, who would find themselves in a very uncomfortable and unsafe state.

It is indeed what is happening in many people's lives, but we still survive by his grace.
Sometimes this happens where we are exposed by those whom we trusted and loved so much and we then become vulnerable to attacks, due to lack of physical security and safety.
You may have lost a bread winner or someone you trusted so much. Like in Rizpah's case, children  that were slain,  were her future hope for dependence and provision in the absence of Saul, who was the husband.

But fate had it that death had to strike, leaving her at the open without nowhere to turn to, except Jesus (God) himself our shepherd, everlasting Saviour and provider.
Jehovah Jireh will never fail to supply all our needs ( Philippians 4vs19).
"On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided" ( Genesis 22vs14).

Many people are surviving on pieces, but God is always there to cover us and provide everything that pertains  to life and godliness. ( 2 Peter 1vs3-4).

Even in the story of Ruth a woman who was a foreigner (Moabite), found favour in the eyes of the Lord , because of her commitment to the God of her mother in law, Naomi.
In Ruth 2vs14, the Bible says, " And she did eat, and was sufficed, and left".
Whenever we are privileged to eat the Bread which Jesus serves, we are, like Ruth, satisfied with the full and sweet food provision.

When Jesus is the host, no guest goes empty from the table (John 6vs35).
Remember, Jesus fed 5000 people with five loaves and two fish. ( John 6vs10vs10-13).

Jesus fills our conscience till it is at perfect peace, our judgement with persuasion of the certainty of his teachings, our memory with recollections of what he has done, and our imagination with the prospects of what  he is yet to do. As Ruth was " sufficed and left ", so is it with us.

We have had deep droughts; we have thought that we could take in all of Christ; but when we have done our best we have  to leave a vast remainder. There are certain sweet things in the word of God, which we have not enjoyed yet, and which we are obliged to leave for a while, like the disciples to whom Jesus said, " I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot hear them now!! At every banquet of love there are many baskets of fragments left. Let us magnify the liberality of our glorious Boaz.

" So she gleaned in the field until even," ( Ruth 2vs 17). Let us learn from Ruth, the gleaner. As she went out to gather the ears of corn, so must I go forth into the fields of prayer, meditation, the ordinances, and hearing the word to gather spiritual food. The gleaner gathers her portion ear by ear, her gains are little by little so must I be content to search for single truths, if there be greater plenty of them. Every ear  helps to make a bundle and every gospel lesson assists in making us wise unto salvation. The gleaner stoops for all she finds and so must you.
High spirits criticize and object, but lowly minds glean and receive the benefit.

A humble heart is a great help towards profitably hearing the gospel. Ruth had gone forth with her mother's blessing, under the care of her mother in law's God, to humble, but honourable toil and the providence of God was guiding her every step. { Psalm 37vs23) Little  did she know that amid the sheaves she would find a husband, that he should make her the joint owner of all those broad acres and that she a poor foreigner should become one of the progenitors of the great Messiah!
God is very good to those who trust him, and often surprise them with unlooked for blessings.

As you press on in your good fight of faith, I want to encourage you by referring you to a good example of a woman who knew how to tap on the feet of the Lord and unlock mysteries through meditation and prayer, as well as commitment to the Lord. Although she was delivered from powers of darkness, however she found favour in the eyes of the Lord. She pressed on until the last hours of Jesus' death and resurrection.

The Bible says, " As it began to dawn, came Magdalene, to see the sepulchre".( Matthew 28vs1).
People of God, let us learn from Mary Magdalene how to obtain fellowship with the Lord Jesus. Notice how she sought. She sought the Saviour very early in the morning. If you can wait for Christ and be patient in the hope of having fellowship with him at some distant season, you will never have fellowship at all, for the heart that is fit for communion is a hungering and thirsting heart.

She sought him also with great boldness, like Rizpah and Hannah. The disciples fled, but she stood at the sepulchre. When Jesus was crucified by Romans, Mary Magdalene was there supporting him in his final terrifying moments and mourning his death. She also discovered the empty tomb and she is a witness to the resurrection.

We need to seek Christ boldly, even in the midst of challenges, let us not give up or quit.
Let nothing hold you back. Defy the world. Press on where others flee. She sought Christ faithfully -she stood at the sepulchre. Some people find it hard to stand by a living Saviour, but she stood by a dead one. Remember, even Rizpah  stood by her sons' dead bodies throughout.

Let us seek Christ after this mode, cleaving to the very least thing that has to do with him, remaining faithful, though all others should forsake him. Note further, she sought Jesus earnestly - she stood "weeping". Those tears - dropping were as spells that led the Saviour captive, and made Him come forth and show himself to her.

If you desire Jesus' presence, weep after it! If you cannot be happy unless He comes and say to  you, " Thou art my beloved", you will soon hear His voice.

Mary Magdalene sought the Saviour only. If Christ be your one and only love, if your heart has cast out all rivals, you will not lack the comfort of His presence. Mary Magdalene sought that, because she loved much. Let us arouse ourselves to the same intensity of affection; let our heart like Mary's , be full of Christ and our love, like here, will be satisfied with nothing short of Himself.

Let us be like Mary and we can survive storms of life as we press on. She was a great worshipper and intercessor. Remember she fell on Jesus' feet and worshipped him , when Lazarus died and Jesus wept after her intercession. ( John 11vs 32-35).

I believe after reading this message, you will purpose in your heart, that you desire to be like Rizpah, Ruth and Mary Magdalene. Just raise your faith, you can be delivered, and your faith strengthened.
The situations and circumstances that weaken people's faith and prayer lives are many, but today must mark the beginning of your breakthrough in Christ Jesus.

You may be failing to sleep because things are not well in your life, you are depressed and cast down, the solution is to substitute lack of sleep with prayer and meditation, after reading the Bible. ( Joshua 1vs 8, Ephesians 6vs18).

Press On: Don't quit: Don't give up. Be like Rizpah and Marry who knew how to develop a close relationship with God and as a result ,they could withstand all circumstances, which faced them.

Remember, God's grace is sufficient for you. ( 2 Corinthians 12vs9-10).

May God richly bless you all!
