Finding peace in a noisy world

DIVINE REVELATIONS DAILY DEVOTIONS! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer this morning. I am delighted to share the word of hope and encouragement at such a time as this. The title of my message is:"FINDING PEACE IN A NOISY WORLD" Let me hasten to mention that, Finding peace in a noisy world is not about eliminating all external sound, but rather cultivating an internal, spiritual stillness that trusts in God’s presence despite the surrounding chaos. The Bible says,"Be still and know that I am God."(Psalm 46:10) True peace is a gift from Jesus that differs from the world’s frantic pace, offering stability and calm.( John 14:27)

Here is how to desire and find peace in a noisy world.
1. The Reality of the Noise (The Challenge)
Constant Stimulation: The world is filled with buzzing phones, glowing screens, and never-ending tasks.
External and Internal Noise: We face loud circumstances (bad news, social media pressure) and internal noise (anxiety, fear, and distracting thoughts).
The Cost of Noisy Living: A cluttered life makes it difficult to hear God's voice, often leading to using people instead of loving them.

2. The Invitation to Stillness is (The Solution)
"Be Still, and Know that I am God" Psalm 46:10 advises that stillness is not inactivity, but rather attentiveness to God.
Listening to The Gentle Whisper! Like Elijah, we must look for God not in the loud, chaotic events, but in a "gentle whisper".
Creating Sacred Space: We must intentionally "soundproof" our lives by creating spaces for quiet and solitude with God.

3. Practical Steps to Cultivate Peace are:
Prioritize Scripture over Social Media! Turn off the noise and open your heart to God’s Word.
Practice Silent Prayer: This allows us to retreat from the world and be united with God, strengthening our spirit.
Digital Detox and Boundaries is also necessary! Set limits on technology and media consumption to reduce stress.
Trust in God's Timing: Choose to trust that God is working, even when the world seems loud and out of control.( Proverbs 3:5-6)
4. The Promise of Perfect Peace!
Have Steadfast Minds! "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you" (Isaiah 26:3).
There is need for a Protective Peace! God’s peace acts as a guard for our hearts and minds. (Philippians 4:7).
Standing on An Unshakable Foundation! By centering our lives on Christ, the Prince of Peace, we can remain calm even in the storm.

Here is the Concluding Prayer:
Heavenly Father, in the midst of life's distractions, help us find moments of quiet and stillness to hear Your voice. Grant us the wisdom to create sacred spaces and the discipline to turn down the world's volume, finding our peace in You. Amen! Remember, New beginnings Acceleration is your portion this year. New beginnings and Acceleration is also my portion! It is well and it shall be well with you and me, when the time is right.( Isaiah 60:22) Whatever it is, God can fix it! Developing peace in a violent, noisy world

DIVINE REVELATIONS DAILY DEVOTIONS. Shalom! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer this morning. I am delighted to share the word of hope and encouragement at such a time as this. The title of my message is:"DEVELOPING  PEACE IN A VIOLENT, NOISY WORLD" Let me begin by saying these days, all anyone wants is a little peace and quietness. There is so much noise, noise, noise, noise, noise, in this world. The noise isn’t celebratory; it is complaining. It is not the wailing and weeping in Ramah as Rachel weeps for her children. Nor is it the whispers of the oppressed.

The noise, the hate, and, yes, the violence are exhausting.

The amazing thing about the noise surrounding us is who is creating the loudest amount. Those already enjoying a certain amount of comfort and peace complain that their peace is being interrupted. Those interruptions, though, speak to how fragile a personal peace, or a peace based upon violence, can be.

The peace most people seek is too small and achieved through means that are doomed to bring the whole illusion down. There is no such thing as peace that is separated from the whole. My peace is forever connected to the peace of others, and my justice is forever connected to the justice of others. To view it otherwise is only to continue the illusion of peace, not reality.

True peace requires a heart to be changed. True peace understands the connections between not just you and me but between me and everything. True peace sees…

Today, as in the past, we all witness the ill-fated logic that we can achieve peace through violence. The world is not becoming smaller, but we certainly are pushing the limits of population growth. Destroying life, human or otherwise, does not create more livable space. It doesn’t create peace.

Winning the battle has become a losing proposition. Success at the cost to others isn’t a success, after all. Violence begets violence. Injustice begets injustice. Our constant love affair with every type of Pax Romana that controls others through military and violent strength or bending all creation to our benefit has become our end. Such conduct and living conditions are in opposition to all great religious teachings. Remember New beginnings and Acceleration is your portion this year. New beginnings and Acceleration is also my portion! It is well and it shall be well with you and me in due season.( Galatians 6:9) Whatever it is, God can fix It!   Have a spirit filled and prayerful weekend!           Apostle Fanuel Masikati: Contact:+263778495363Email: divinerevelations7@gmail.com
