THE SEVEN WORDS OF JESUS ON THE CROSS

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ!  It is that time of the year when we are reminded of our Lord Jesus's last moment and  suffering on the Cross .
It was indeed a deciding and crucial moment in the history of  all mankind.  The persecution, torment and suffering of Jesus on the cross, was to prepare a way for our redemption and salvation. Jesus spoke his last words of hope and assurance on the cross.

I want to talk about the significance of : "THE SEVEN WORDS OF JESUS ON THE CROSS!"        Jesus Christ died on the Cross to redeem mankind, and to save us from our sins because of His love for us.

As recorded in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John in the Holy Bible, Jesus Christ was mocked, scorned, and tortured in the praetorium ( governor's or judgement hall)( Matthew 27:27, Mark 15:16, John 18:28, John 18:33)

He suffered an indescribable end, recalled by the Church on Good Friday of the Holy Week.
You may meditate on the Passion of Christ by reflecting on his Seven Words on the Cross or by a devotion known as The Way of the Cross. The way of the Cross arose during Lent retracing the Passion, Crucifixion, and Death of Jesus.

Here are his Seven Words, the last seven expressions of Jesus Christ on the Cross recorded in Scripture.

THE FIRST WORD
" Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." ( Luke 23:34).
Jesus Christ of Nazareth is looking down from the cross just after he was crucified between two criminals.

He remembers those who had sentenced him - Caiaphas and the high priests of the Sanhedrin.
Pilate realized it was out of envy that they handed him over ( MATTHEW 27:18, Mark  15:10)
Jesus at this moment in his words was thinking of his disciples who had deserted him and the crowd that cheered him, when he entered Jerusalem riding on a donkey and few days later demanded his crucifixion.

Was Jesus also thinking of us, who daily forget him in our lives? Did he react angrily? No!
At the height of his physical suffering, his love prevails and He asks his Father to forgive!
Could there ever  be greater irony?

Jesus asks  his Father to forgive, but it is by His very Sacrifice on the Cross that mankind is able to be forgiven! Right up to the final hours on earth, Jesus preached forgiveness. Can you and me do it in our moments of betrayal and hurt, to forgive those who torture and offend us? He teaches forgiveness in the Lord's prayer:  " Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us"  ( Matthew 6:12).

At the foot of the Cross is where you find grace and forgiveness. It is at the foot of the Cross where you find love and unity of purpose. And even following his Resurrection, his first act was to commission his disciples to forgive: " Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven ; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained " ( John 20:22-23).

THE SECOND WORD
"Truly, I say to you,  today you will be with    me in   Paradise."                           (Luke 23:43 )               Jesus showed mercy and love to the criminal who was crucified with Him on the cross.  " Jesus responds with mercy in His second word, living out his own Beatitude, " Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy." The second word again is about forgiveness, this time directed to a sinner.  Jesus shows his Divinity by opening heaven for a repentant  sinner-  such generosity to a man that only asked to be remembered!  We will also be with Jesus Christ at the end of  our lives, if we turn our hearts and prayers to Him and accept his forgiveness.

THE THIRD WORD
" Jesus said to his mother:  " Woman, this is your son." Then he said to the disciple: " This is your mother."         ( John 19:26-27).
Jesus and Marry are together again, at the beginning of his ministry in Cana and now at the end of his public ministry at the foot of the Cross.

John is the only  Evangelist to record our Lord's mother Marry at the Cross.
The Lord refers to his mother as woman at the Wedding Feast of Cana  ( John 2:1-11) and in this passage,  recalling the woman in Genesis 3:15, the first Messianic prophecy of the Redeemer, anticipating the woman clothed with the sun in Revelation 12.

What sorrow must fill Mary's heart! How she must have felt meeting her Son as He carried the Cross on the  Via Dolorosa( a distressing or painful journey or process).
"Behold I make all things new" ( Revelation 21:5).

And then she had to watch him being nailed to the Cross.  Once again, a sword pierces Mary's soul: we are reminded of the prophecy of Simeon at the Presentation of the infant Jesus in the Temple ( Luke 2:35).

Jesus Here again rises above the occasion as he cares for the ones that love him. Here Jesus demonstrated again a loving and caring attitude towards his own people, a thing that lacks among us as fellow believers. Instead there is too much hatred and jealous among brothers and sisters as well as fellow Christian believers. Let us love one another unconditionally!(  John13:34-35).

THE FOURTH WORD
" MY God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
( Matthew 27:46 and Mark 15:34).

This was the only expression of Jesus in the Gospels of Matthew and Mark.
Both Gospels related that it was in the ninth hour, after three hours of darkness, that Jesus cried out this fourth word.
The ninth hour was three o'clock in Judea. After the fourth Word, Mark related with a horrible sense of finality, " And Jesus uttered a loud cry, and breathed his last " ( Mark 15:37).

This cry is from the painful heart of human Jesus who must feel deserted by His Father and the Holy Spirit, not to mention his earthly companions the Apostles.
But is not this exactly what happens to all of us when we die?
When we suffer pain and anguish? We too are alone at the time of death and suffering!

Jesus completely lives the human experience as we do , and by doing so, free us from the clutches of sin.
His fourth word is the opening line of Psalm 22, and his cry from the Cross recalls the cry of Israel, and all innocent persons who suffer.
Psalm 22 of David makes a striking prophecy of the crucifixion of the Messiah at a time when crucifixion was known to exist: " They have pierced my hands and my hands and my feet, they have numbered all my bones " ( Psalm 22:16-18).

The burden of all the sins of humanity for a moment overwhelm the humanity of our Saviour. " But this is your hour" ( Luke 22:53). It is the defeat of his humanity that the Divine plan of His Father will be completed.  It is by his death that we are redeemed.

" For there is one God. There is also one mediator between God and the human race, Christ Jesus, himself human, who gave himself as ransom for all" ( 1 Timothy 2:5-6 ).
There is no other name that can save mankind, besides the name of Jesus. All was decided and finalized at the foot of the Cross.  Whatever, you may have been experiencing in the past take to the Cross and let it be nailed and destroyed in the name of Jesus!

THE FIFTH WORD
" I thirst." ( John 19:28). The fifth word of Jesus is the only human expression of His physical suffering. Jesus is now in shock.
The wounds inflicted upon him in the scourging, the crowning with thorns, losing blood on the three hour walk through the city of Jerusalem on the Via Dolorosa to Golgotha, and the nailing upon the cross are now taking their toll.

The Gospel of John first refers to thirst when Jesus meets the Samaritan woman at the well.
After  first asking for " a drink," he answers the woman, " Everyone who drinks  of this water  will be thirsty again, but those who drink of the water that I will give them will never be thirsty . The water I give will become in them a spring of water  gushing up to eternal life"( John 4:13-14).

This passage implies there is more than just physical  thirst. Jesus also thirsts in a spiritual sense. He thirsts for love. He thirsts for the love of his Father, who  has left him unaided during this dreadful hour when  He must fulfil his mission all alone. And he thirsts for the love and salvation of his people, the human race. Jesus practiced what he preached. ( John 15:12-13). It is my prayer that we also have the same spirit of thirsting for the word of God and the love for one another. ( Psalm 42:1-2). Thirsts for love is what we must all desire all the time. We must also thirst for the love of God. Those whose love were now cold in their marriages and homes, may you begin to thirst for one another at such a time as this.

THE SIXTH WORD
" When Jesus had received the wine, he said, " It is finished;" and he bowed his head and handed over the spirit." ( John 19:30).  The Gospel of John recalls the sacrifice of the Passover Lamb in Exodus 12 in this passage.  The soldiers offered wine on a sprig of hyssop to the Lord. Hyssop is a small plant that was used to sprinkle the blood of the Passover Lamb in the doorposts of Hebrews  ( Exodus 12:22).

John's Gospel related that it was the day of Preparation, the day before the actual Sabbath Passover,  that Jesus was sentenced to death ( John 19:14)  and sacrificed  on the Cross  ( John 19:31). John continues in John 19:33-34: " But when they came to Jesus and saw he was already dead, they did not break his legs," recalling the instruction in Exodus 12:46 concerning the Passover Lamb. He died in the ninth hour ( three o'clock in the afternoon ), about  the same time as the Passover Lambs  were slaughtered  in the Temple.

Christ became the Paschal or Passover  Lamb;  as noted by St. Paul in 1 Corinthians  5:7.
Christ the innocent Lamb was slain for our sins, so that we may be forgiven. It is now a fait accomplit.

The  sixth word is Jesus' recognition that his suffering is over and his task is completed. Jesus is obedient to the Father and gives his love for mankind by redeeming us with His death on the Cross  . The phrase " It is finished " carries a sense of accomplishment. But when Jesus  died, He " handed over" the Spirit . Jesus remained in control to the end, and it is He who  handed over his Spirit.  So I want to say that victory  for us all, in all areas of our lives was accomplished at the Cross  by our Lord Jesus.

THE SEVENTH WORD
" Jesus  cried out in a loud voice, " Father, into  your hands I commend my spirit."  ( Luke 23:46)
The seventh word of Jesus is from the Gospel of Luke, and is directed to the Father  in heaven, just before He dies. Jesus recalls Psalm 31:5 - " Into thy hands I commend my spirit,  thou hast redeemed me, O Lord, faithful God."

Jesus  was obedient to His Father to the end, and his final word before his death on the Cross was a prayer to His Father.
The relationship of Jesus to the Father  is revealed  in the Gospel of John, for He remarked,  " The Father and I are one" ( John 10:30), and again at the Last Supper:  " Do  you not believe I am in the Father and the Father  is in me? ( John 14:10, John 16:28)  Jesus fulfils His own mission and that of His Father on the Cross. ( John 3:16).

The seven words on the Cross are a fulfilment of prophesies concerning  Jesus' mission  accomplished on earth at the Cross.
So I persuade you at such a time as this, to come closer to the cross with your  humble and willing heart as you reflect on the Lord's suffering and victory on the  Cross.

Remember, we are all victors through Christ our Lord.
Whatever  has been bothering and worrying you over the years,  take it to the Lord in prayer!
As you know it is not over, until He says it's over.
Today He has said it on the Cross that "It is Finished " and it's  over! Hallelujah!  Amen!

May God  richly bless you all!

THE BENEFITS OF SPEAKING IN TONGUES

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Once again in continuing with the subject of speaking in tongues,  I want to talk about the benefits of speaking in tongues.
The Bible says, " But we will give ourselves continually to prayer and the ministry of the word. ( Acts 6:4).

The title of my message is: THE BENEFITS OF SPEAKING IN TONGUES " The early Church, were a praying Church and how  great and mighty things they achieved in prayer.  Even if they became busy in ministry they did not allow business to get in the way of prayer. The early Church comprehended that praying in tongues was the prayer.

Praying in tongues was known as the prayer. However, let me  hasten to mention that it does not mean that if you pray in understanding, God doess not hear or answer your prayers. God hears every language and answers  prayers of those who also pray in understanding.

Tongues are good for your personal edification. But the early  Church gave much time and attention to speaking in tongues. This was common knowledge to the early disciples, and it should be so in the modern church.

Prayer, especially praying in tongues is a vital aspect to spiritual growth and sensitivity in the spirit.  There is no way around it! If you want to grow in the anointing , it is imperative that you become a person of prayer.

Jesus was a Man of prayer, as was the apostle Paul, and the early Church was birthed and based on prayer and the word of God.  ( Mark 1:35-37, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, Luke 18:1). Jesus even taught that "Man ought to pray and not faint" The Holy Bible shows that prayer, and especially tongues played a very prominent role in the life of the early Church, and it must play a prominent role in your life.

TONGUES IS THE ENTRANCE INTO THE SUPERNATURAL.
" For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God......howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries"  ( 1 Corinthians 14:2).

Praying in tongues is beneficial because it is the gateway into the spirit realm. There is a doorway into the realm of the spirit  and it is through tongues. John said, " I was in the Spirit  on the Lord's day" ( Revelation 1:10).

No wonder Christians have no knowledge of entering the spirit realm.  ( Hosea 4:6). Tongues is the key that unlocks the spirit world. As long as satan can keep you away from tongues, he can keep you away from the miraculous.

Notice the words, " howbeit in the spirit" ( 1 Corinthians 14:2).  When you pray in tongues, you are automatically in the spirit. Paul was stating that God is in the spirit, and when we pray in tongues we are in the spirit where God dwells.

In other words,  when you start praying in tongues, you are entering God's miracle zone. I want you to understand this fact: tongues is the prayer in the New Testament. Jesus said " And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;  they will pick up snakes with their hands; ...........( Mark 16:17 NIV). ( Acts  2:1-13).

PRAYING IN TONGUES IS A DIRECT LINE TO GOD.
Tongues is your hotline to God. ( Jeremiah 33;3).
Some people all over the world do all kinds of crazy things to get their god to hear them.
Some are piercing their bodies, and others are offering all kinds of sacrifices, but Paul reveals to us a direct line to the Almighty.

People know that when we get an audience with God, miracles will flow.
Through tongues, you and I can have direct access to God.
The word says, " no one understands him...." ( 1 Corinthians 14:2).

This means Satan does not understand when you pray in the spirit.
He knows what you are doing  but cannot understand what you are saying.
He is helpless to sabotage your prayer. It is funny how some people say  " Tongues is of the devil," and  yet Paul says, "  Tongues is talking to God."
Through tongues you have direct  access to God."  Toungues are the believer's direct access to the throne room. Do you get that? This is very important  for you to grasp!

PRAYING IN TONGUES  IS SPEAKING DIVINE MYSTERIES - DIVINE CODED SECRETS.
" For he that speaketh in an unknown  tongues speaketh not both unto men, but unto God .....howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries."

Mysteries in some versions of the Bible is " secrets." The Greek word is musterion and the meanings are:      *Hidden things                          *Divine secrets                        * Coded language                  *Secret will  or plan            * Secret counsels that govern God in His dealing with the righteous, hidden from the ungodly and wicked men but plain to the godly                        * Knowledge withheld from ungodly, but truth revealed to the righteous                         *Images and forms

In the ordinary sense, a " mystery" impliies knowledge withheld: its Scriptural significance is truth revealed.
Once again it means Satan does not understand what you are saying when you pray in the spirit.  ( Romans 8:26-27).

When you speak in tongues, you are declaring the secrets of God, which will impart blessings and impact your life.
You are prophesying your God - ordained future.
By praying in the Spirit, you are making a path of blessings and power for you to walk in and enjoy.

When you pray in tongues you also charge and ignite the atmosphere for Holy Ghost Fire to work miracles as well as signs and wonders!
There are many other benefits of speaking in tongues.

May God richly bless you!

TAKE YOUR PLACE

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ!
Here is the word for your meditation and prayer. The title of my message is: "Take your Place!"
The Bible  in Matthew 5 vs13 says,  “You are the salt of the earth; but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trodden under foot by men."

I just want to mention that we must all take our true positions in life, as God's children, in order to project a picture of being real ambassadors of Christ. ( 2 Corinthians 5:20).
You are equipped and empowered as a Christian! ( 1 John 4:4).
It surely  pains me to see God's children hopeless and without answers to the challenges they face. You find Christians going from this place to that place, looking for solutions to their problems.

Many of God's children are sick, tormented, in deep poverty and this is not God's will for them. God's will for our lives is that we must live healthy, be happy and prosperous. ( Jeremiah 29:11, 3 John 1:2 )
We must live abundant lives! ( John 10:10).

This is one of the reasons why we are motivated to write these empowerment messages, so that those that read may act and  live accordingly.
There is a place where God has brought the Christian and it's not a place of defeat.

We are the salt of this world and therefore the taste of the salt must be felt and experienced as we take our rightful places and positions, as Christians in the society.  The child of God is not the one who should be going looking for oil or stones or some strange water to fix his problems! You are not the one to be looking for blessings.

You are the salt of the earth! Don't lose your taste!
It is an error for a Spirit filled Christian to be running up and down for deliverance sessions, instead of seeking God's kingdom first. ( Matthew 6:33).

What you need is just  inside you.
It shows a lack of understanding of the scriptures.

Jesus said the Believers will cast out devils!( Mark 16:17)
You are the one to throw out and cast out devils.
Take your rightful place!!

Your place is to lay hands on the sick, it is to bless the poor with your substance.
Your place is a place of authority. ( Luke 10:19). Refuse to beg!
God has made you a blessing.

He has already blessed you with ALL spiritual blessings in heavenly places. ( Ephesians 1:3)
You do not need anymore blessings, you have enough to bless the world around you and change it for the better.

Get me right people of God, I am not saying seeking deliverance and healing is not right.
What I am saying is that it must not be the main focus in our Christian race.
Our priority must be seeking God's face and empowering as well as equipping ourselves with the word.

Healing and deliverance are benefits which come after seeking God's kingdom and it's righteousness.
I just want to encourage   you that you should not smell the devil around you, because you are full of  God's Spirit.

You are full of the  light and there is no darkness in you!
Yes I am the light of the world! I know my place in God. I know who I am.
That should be your mentality also. You are not helpless!

You carry the answers to the problems of man in Christ Jesus. ( Ephesians 3:20).
When people want solutions they should look for you, at work, at school, at home and everywhere else.
Because you have the game changer and destiny helper, in you!

There's is a higher life in CHRIST JESUS brethren.
There is a life of victory in which we have been called to live.

And it's my calling to teach every child of God, this life of victory and abundance.
So take your rightful place.
Be the victor that God has called you to be. Be the salt of the earth!
Be the light of the world and let your light so shine among men. ( Matthew 5:14-16).
Just pray the following prayer: Our Father in heaven, I worship and I bless your name! Thank you for placing me together with Christ Jesus and making me to sit together with him in the heavenly places, far above all the power of the enemy. Thank you for your light which shines bright inside me. There is no darkness in me because you have shined in my heart! Thank  you for causing me to be a blesser to the world around me.

May God richly bless you!

RENEW YOUR MIND

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! The tittle of my message is: "Renew your mind"
The Bible says, "And be renewed in the spirit of your mind."
(Ephesians 4:23) People of God, we all need our minds to be renewed by the word of God,  in order to line up and conform to the will of God. ( Romans 12:2)
A wise man once said "it is one thing to get a monkey out of the jungle and another to get the jungle out of the monkey". When a man gets born again, he is transferred from the Kingdom of Satan into the Kingdom of God. But however as much as that man has been removed from darkness to light, he still thinks and acts like someone in the kingdom of darkness. What such a man needs is for his mind to be renewed. He needs to be given a new way of thinking that's in line with the kingdom of God (Word)
We have so many Christians today who still think like they have not been saved from darkness.
They are still conscious of the devil and his works, even though they have been brought out of the bondage of demons. ( Colossians 1:13, Proverbs 23:7)

One needs to fix their eyes on things above and not on the world. ( Colossians 3:2) Their minds are still darkened, because the light of the Gospel of Christ has not illuminated their hearts yet. (John 8:12, Psalm 119:105)

The word is the light of our path and lamp unto our feet.
But some people have not been changed or influenced by the Word of God as yet.
As much as we have been saved, our minds have to be educated in the Gospel of our salvation. Unless a man's mind gets re-educated and renewed in the Gospel of salvation, that man can never walk in the light of His salvation.

It's like an eagle that thinks it's a duck, so it walks like a duck, eats like a duck and therefore suffers like a duck. This is the reason why we have so many defeated, broke, sick Christians today! Their minds are still programmed to think defeat, poverty and sickens and yet Christ overcame all these on the cross.

He became poor so that we could be rich, but there are Christians who are still bound by their past, although they are now new creations. ( 2 Corinthians 5:17, 2 Corinthian 8:9).
But God wants us to renew our minds, He wants us to adopt a new kind of thinking.
The scripture says, "For to be carnally minded is death: but to be spiritually minded is life and peace." (Romans 8:6)

To be carnally minded is to be earthly minded.
It means to have the thought patterns of the earth.
It means to think like an ordinary man and that is death.

But to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Our minds have to be spiritualized and transformed, in order to think God's thoughts and this can only be accomplished when we give our minds over to the teaching and instruction of the Word ( Joshua 1:8, 2 Timothy 2:15)

Get renewed in your mind in order to think victory, success and prosperity.

Just pray the following prayer:
Father I thank you for the ministration of your Word, as I give myself to be taught by your Word, I receive new thoughts of victory, divine health, dominion, success and prosperity. My mind is reprogrammed to think God's thoughts and ways.
In the name of Jesus  we pray- Amen!

May God richly bless you!

THE BED AND BLANKET ARE TOO SHORT AND SMALL

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!
The Bible says, " The bed you have made is far too short to lie on; the blankets are too narrow to cover you." ( Isaiah 28:20).

The title of my message is: " The bed and blanket are too short and small"
Family of God, life is like a blanket that is too small.
You pull it up, the feet are cold and if you pull it down the shoulders are uncovered.

However, blessed are those who have learnt to bend their knees, because with prayer we are fully covered!(1 Tessalonians 5:16-18, Ephesians 6:18, Luke 18:1)
It doesn't matter the size of your room, type of job, and how small your salary is, learn to be satisfied with what is available  at any given time.

" For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we carry nothing out.
And having food and raiment let us be therewith content" (1 Timothy 6:7-8).

So we should be well satisfied without money if we have enough food and clothing.
Learn to be satisfied with what you have.

Pray without ceasing, to cover yourself from any shortcomings and nakedness in your life.
Jesus the hope of glory, is your refuge and fortress, who covers and protects you from all storms of life. ( Colossians 1:26-27, Proverbs 18:10, Psalm 91:2-3).

Although, the bed is too short and the blanket is too small, the Holy spirit and the hand of the Lord are not too short to cover and protect you in the name of Jesus. ( Isaiah 59:1, John 14:26).

The scripture says, " For in him we live, and move, and have our being;....." ( Acts 17:28).
We are all complete, safe and covered in the Lord!

Our sufficiency is in the Lord and nothing else. (,2 Corinthians 9:8, John 15:5) Our full cover is in the Lord. " The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe." ( Proverbs 18:10) Your refuge and fortress is in the Lord. ( Psalm 91:1-2).

May God richly bless you!

SILENT PRAYER WHICH ACTIVATES ACTION

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ!
Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!
The title of my message is: "Silent prayer which Activates Action!" " It happened that as she continued in prayer  before God, Eli was watching her closely. Hannah was praying in her heart, silently. Her lips moved, but no sound was heard....................(1 Samuel 1:12-14).

It is not about the noice and sound of your voice, but your attitude and genuinenes of heart, which provokes action and expected results and  responses!
Hannah poured out her heart to God in humility and sincerity,  and accessed her blessing of a baby boy, who was later dedicated for the work of God, as a prophet and priest.

Silent prayer is dangerous and contagious. I just want to say in life Only Trust someone who can see these three things in you: The sorrow behind your smile.
The love behind your anger. The reason behind your silence.

The Bible says, " Don't let evil get the upper hand, but conquer evil by doing good." ( Romans 12:21).
People should not mistake, your silence, care, tolerance , hospitality, love and compassion, as a sign of weakness.

It is an act of quiet diplomacy for reconciliation and unity among God's people.
It is also a recipe for responding to God's will and activating spiritual and  material blessings.

The scripture also says, " The words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth among fools.

Hannah's silent prayer provoked heaven to act and respond.
Silent prayer provokes heaven to act and release blessings, for those whose heart and mind is stayed on the Lord. ( Isaiah 26:3)
Silent prayer causes the invisible to manifest tangible things.
" Silent Prayer Activates Action!"

May God richly bless you!

Happiness

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ!
Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! The tittle of my message is: "HAPPINESS"

The Bible says, " Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom." ( 1 Kings 10:8)
Happiness is found in constant communion with the Lord.

You have to make an effort to create happiness in your life.
It is you as an individual who can make it  happen and not anyone else. Make it happen, believe it and you will experience it.

If you wait for Happy moments, you will wait forever!
But if you start believing each day that you are Happy,  then you will be happy forever!

That's Life! BE  HAPPY EVERYDAY!
DON'T wait for someone to trigger happiness.
Start it yourself and make it happen everyday.

" Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding." ( Proverbs 313)' The FEAR of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, which leads to happiness and blessings. ( Proverbs 9:10-11, Proverbs 28:14)

Constantly dwell in His presence, you will experience joy and happiness.
Feed your spirit with the nourishing food and continually serve the Lord sincerely, you will rejoice even during hard times. ( Matthew 12:34-37, Philippians 4:4, Philippians 4:6-7, James 1:2-4).

Be happy and give someone a smile today!
Make it happen yourself, don't wait for someone to make it happen, you may never experience that moment!

SMILE! LAUGH YOUR LUNGS OUT! GIGGLE! JUMP AND BE HAPPY!
See what will happen after that!
You will be amazed how you feel afterwards! Hallelujah!

You will be healed  from invisible and visible ailments! ( Proverbs 15:13)
Happiness causes many positive things to happen, even in marriages and blessed relationships!

Stay joyful and happy all the time!
May God richly bless you!

MAKE YOURSELF SUCCESSFUL

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! I am delighted to share a message of enlightenment and empowerment, at such a time as this when things in people's eyes seem to be challenging and worrying.

However, we do not live by works of flesh, but by works of promises and God's grace. Therefore remain hopeful and focused on God's promises, in order to experience God's abundance and increase in your life.

The tittle of music message is: " Make yourself  Successful" The Bible says, "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."
(Joshua 1:8)

Many people if God would just easily make them prosperous, they were just going to sit by and watch. That however is not only erroneous but is unwise. The Bible talks of Isaac who was a blessed man, but he was a farmer, he sowed seed and harvested a hundred fold.

Note this , Isaac did not simply send an offering to church and got a harvest from the farm. Isaac sowed seed in the farm, and he also worked.( Genesis 26:12-17) Jacob was a blessed man, but he worked for his father in law in  order to earn his wealth.
He also  had to be strategic to win his chosen wife, after being tricked by his in- laws  .( Genesis27:23-30)

God places the responsibility of success upon us. There are people waiting for someone to come and make them successful and that person is not coming, you have to work hard for your success and prosperity.

Pray hard without ceasing for your blessings and breakthrough. Don't wait for someone or your pastor, evangelist,  prophet or apostle to do it for you. Take the initiative and a bold step to empower yourself through the word of God, in order to receive revelation for your plan and purpose for life.

When planning for your ministry or project, don't think many people would be passionate about souls like you are and quickly join hands with you in spreading the gospel for the harvesting of souls. If you bank on other people for support to do great things in life, that support may never come, whether small for what you may intend to do.

Put your trust in God and not man or your pastor.
I personally discovered how it works: If nobody is going to finance me then I am going to finance myself.

If nobody is going invite me, then I am going go find some place to preach, and not wait for anybody to create opportunities for me or make me a success. The honest truth is, people are too busy with their own lives to begin to think of making you a success and very few people ever think their success has to do with them helping you.

There are three hands necessary for success in life.
It is the hand of God and your two hands . Commit everything to God and work hard until you reach  and achieve your goal and destiny. ( Proverbs 16:1-3, Isaiah 59:1-2).  God's hand is never short to help you in every area of your life.

Remember, Jesus is the only destiny Helper you have in this life. Others are destiny killers and PHD s( Pull him down) people. No matter how great the hand of God is upon you, without your hands being involved you are going to turn out a failure in life.

David was anointed, but he went to face a fierce war and needed also to use his hands in order to kill the giant Goliath, God being his helper. (1 Samuel 17:44-51)

There are some demonic spirits and forces in our lives that require us to act and even sacrifice, in order to be totally set free and delivered.  Miracles don't just pop out of the sky like many people imagine.

Are you waiting for someone to send you to school or to give you money to start a project?
My fellow believers , that person may be no one else, but yourself.
Its time you stop looking for help from afar.  God( Jesus) lives in you , he can help you through yourself.

In my life I have had very few prophecies from others, many times God talks to me through my mouth. I interpret my own tongues and get blessed. There are those waiting for someone to prophesy to them and that person may not come.

Do you really think your Pastor will not sleep because you are suffering? If you can't spend the night praying for yourself and family, do you think there is someone out there who loves you more than yourself to do more for you?

Brethren in Christ, it is now the time for you to take matters into your own hands and let God work through you. It is only God who can give you  something or blessings, without grumbling.  Don't pray for your uncle to give you something, become responsible yourself.

Don't blame anyone for your failures, make yourself a success by acting on the word, it doesn't matter the state of your nation.

The LORD JESUS has already purchased for you the glorious life, walk in it.
Take it by faith and move on with life. ( Matthew 11:12, Hebrews 11:6)

May God richly bless you!

ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! I just want to encourage someone right now who feels hopeless and discouraged, because of many challenges they are facing.

It is a fact that   many times there are rough roads we go through in our daily lives.  Some may be physical, some emotional or spiritual.  But whatever it may be; –we are not alone!(Deuteronomy 31:6-8, Hebrews 13:5-6)

The Bible says, " And we know ( with great confidence) that God ( who is deeply concerned about us) causes all things to work together ( as a plan) for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose." ( Romans 8:28).

We may not understand why we have to go through it, but we must believe that it is for our good, as well as others. The title of my message is: "ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD!"

When those around us see that we have faith and that we believe and trust in our Heavenly Father to bring us through, they learn from our experiences as well.  We pray daily for the strength to carry on and the confidence in knowing our Heavenly Father loves us and will always provide what we need.(Philippians 4:19)

God has better plans for our lives and he will never fail us all the time. The scripture in Jeremiah 29:11 says, " For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for peace and well- being and not for disaster to give you a future and a hope. "

You are part of God's plan and programme to prosper and bless you in the name of Jesus. Whatever you are facing right now, don't give up, because all things work together for good. Out of that discomfort and pain, will soon come joy and peace.

Stop worrying and panicking, it is well with you in the name of Jesus.
"All things Work together for good...!"
Stay blessed and encouraged, in the name of Jesus!
 God bless you richly!

STAY IN TUNE WITH THE LORD

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word of God for your edification and empowerment. I am pleased to share a message entitled: "STAY IN TUNE WITH THE LORD"

The Bible says, “May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all” (2 Corinthians 13:14 ). The way to stay in tune with the Lord, is to maintain fellowship with the Holy Spirit. This is what you need to do to walk in the realms of glory.

I was going through the scriptures one time and came across something that got my attention along this line. The Lord was referring to Christians, particularly ministers and pastors that have become “brutish.” What He said in that scripture gave me a light to how some servants of God are in the Kingdom.
He said, “For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the Lord: therefore they shall not prosper...” (Jeremiah 10:21). The Hebrew word translated “brutish” here, actually means 'dull hearted.'

When your spirit becomes dull, you are out of touch with the Lord. At such a time, all you have is the message of the flesh for you are no longer in tune with the Lord. Your life becomes ordinary and there is nothing supernatural about it anymore! It is a despicable place to be.

If that happens in your life, God says “You can't prosper.” In other words, nothing you are involved with will succeed; as you will merely be functioning with human ability. This is why as a Christian you can't afford to stay out of tune with God." Pray without  ceasing" ( 1 Thessalonians 5:17).

You must remain connected to Him in fellowship round the clock. For you to walk with God in the realms of unusual blessings you must pray; you must spend time  meditating on His Word.( Ephesians 6:18, Joshua 1:8) You must seek the Lord! That is the way to stay in tune with Him.

The secret to a victorious, successful, struggle-free life and extraordinary prosperity is staying in tune with the Master through fellowship. ( James 4:8)  Outside of that connection, life is empty, worthless and full of struggles!

But when you remain in tune with the Lord, His anointing will be in your life so strong, causing you to be fruitful and productive in everything you do.   Stay connected to God in prayer, fasting and reading the Word of God. You cannot give and impart to others, what you do not have.

Be an example as a man and woman of God, by staying tuned into the realms of the spirit, downloading divine revelations for the edification of the flock of the Lord. The flock of the Lord is thirsty for the true gospel of life and and empowerment, and not religious rhetoric.  ( 2 Corinthians 2:17).

Remember, the word says, " For the kingdom of God is not just in word, but in power" ( 1 Corinthians 4:20).   Staying connected to the Lord, empowers you to move in the Holy Ghost power, for the manifestation of God's glory and miraculous healing anointing.

Dwell in his word and in prayer all the time.
You will then become a dangerous and powerful prayer warrior and a threat to the kingdom of darkness.  ( Colossians 3:16-17, Ephesians 11-18, Zechariah 4:6-7).

Stay empowered and encouraged in the name of Jesus.
 God bless you!

USE TIME WISELY

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word of encouragement for your meditation and prayer! The tittle of my message is: " USE TIME WISELY!"

The Bible says, "Make the most of everything living and breathing moment, because these are evil times" (Ephesians 5:16)

Make the most use of every moment in life.
" Whatever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; ......( Ecclesiastes 9:10)

TIME never waits for anyone and WINDS never require directions
It only depends on us HOW we use TIME and TURN the WINDS in our favour.

Be wise and alert, the days are evil.
Remember, time will never wait for anyone.
Use time wisely!

You may never recover or compensate what you lost in life.
Be wise and use your time wisely.
Always remember to set time for prayer.

Remember, prayer is not " Any other business," but it is the real business. If you take care of God's business, He will also take care of your business. ( Ephesians 6:18, 1 Thessalonians 5:17)
However, many people have time for their social activities, but don't have time for prayer and attending church activities.

Manage and use your time wisely!
Don't waste more time in useless and unprofitable programmes.

RESPOND TO GOD'S TRUE CALL

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! I am pleased to share the word of encouragement. The scripture in John 4:34-38 says,“My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. Even now the one who reaps draws a wage and harvests a crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together.  Thus the saying ‘One sows and another reaps’ is true.  I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labour"

In Matthew 9:35-38, Jesus also talks of the need for more harvesters in the Lord's field, to harvest souls for the Kingdom of God.
The title of my message is : "Respond  to God's true Call".

If I may ask, 'What is it that is keeping you from doing the work of God?'
Maybe you are not sure of your calling into ministry?
Or maybe you are waiting for a certain time to start your calling? What ever it is, the Lord says the harvest is plenty but the labourers  are few.

We are all called into the ministry, some respond to the calling there and then, some procrastinate, some ignore the call and some refuse.
If you have not responded to the call what is it that is holding you back from doing the work of the Lord?

There are so many things that take our time so much that we neglect the call of God. It might be the jobs that we have, the person you are in a relationship with, the pursuit of money and other worldly things like cars, houses, clothes  and other materialistic things.
"Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness, all these other things will be added unto you". ( Matthew 6:33).

We are not created to chase after worldly things, but to serve God, to worship Him, honour Him and do the will of Him who has created us.
Look at this; our Lord Jesus Christ lived everyday to fulfil His purpose on earth and everything He did was for the fulfilment of His purpose.

He never at any day took a salary in this world. He did not have a house where it was His permanent residence.
He did not spend His time on earth in pursuit of trends and the fancy things of this world.
All He did was for the fulfilment of His purpose on earth.( Romans 12:2).

Christ became selfless for His purpose.
We are to emulate the life of Christ and His dedication to do the will of God.
All of His needs were taken care of by God who sent Him, including His disciples too.

So the question is how important are the things that hinder us from doing the will of God and respond to the calling for us to work for God?
That which we chase is vanity as we will die and live all of it.

If it's a job that takes away your time, know this if you die today within a month you will be replaced by someone else.
If it's money that takes your time you won't take it to the grave with you.
But pursuing the will of God and answering His call and be a labourer in His kingdom is rewarding eternally.

Take time and seek the face of God and let Him guide you to your calling.
God seeks labourers for the harvest is ready.
Don't let the things of the world take you away from your calling into ministry.  Let us pray the following prayer together: "Father help me to identify my calling so that I can be a labourer for your Kingdom and may I learn to put your will first, before my needs and wants in Jesus name, we pray-
Amen!

If you have prayed the above prayer honestly, today must mark the beginning of a turn around in your life as you respond to the  true Call of God into ministry!
" Respond to God's true Call!" ( Jeremiah 1:5, Isaiah 6:6-8)  " Here am I send me!"  May God help you to respond to His call!

THERE IS ALWAYS ANOTHER SECOND CHANCE IN LIFE

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ!  I just want to remind and encourage you that: There is always another chance for everything in life, but the fact is that there is no chance of another life here on earth, save for the born again Christians, who shall have eternal everlasting life in heaven.

However, you are only guaranteed eternal life if your name is written in the Book of life after living a life which pleases God here on mother earth.( Luke 10:20)
The tittle of my message is: "There is always another second chance in life!"

If you made  mistakes in the past, there is always another chance for you.
You may have a fresh start any moment you choose to do so.
Life always offers you a second chance, though you may have missed  it in the past, you still have a chance to correct your past mistakes.

" And this is the truth : God has given us the gift of eternal life, and this life is in His Son. If you have the son, you have eternal life. If you do not have the Son of God, you are not acquainted with true life." ( 1 John 5:11-12).

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath  great recompense of reward. ......" ( Hebrews 10:35-36).
God is not only the God of second chances; He is the God of another chance.

Psalm 86: 15 says, " But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness."
The Bible is full of people who received second chances, and even third and fourth chances: Peter,  Jonah, Mark, Samson, David, and others.
All the above were a testimony of God's grace.

He gives us second chances, and we must give the same to others.
Jesus gives a stern warning to those who refuse to forgive others, God will not forgive us( Matthew 6:15)

Just read also : ( Ephesians 4:32, Colossians 3:13, Proverbs 19:11).
If someone is truly repentant, then we are obliged to forgive ( Matthew 18:21-22).

Once again God is a God of a second chance.
He will give you another chance to prove yourself in your Christian journey, as well as to fulfil your purpose for life.  ( Isaiah 1:18-19).

You may be thinking of giving up in life, because of what you did in the past or what you are going through right now, but there is still another chance for you to repent and turn to God for forgiveness and restoration. ( Joel 2:12-14, 25-27).

May God bless and strengthen you.

POUR OUT YOUR HEART TO GOD FOR GENUINE COMFORT AND STRENGTH

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word of encouragement for your meditation  and prayer. I just want to encourage someone who may be feeling devastated by sudden happenings in life. The title of my message is: " Pour out your heart to God for genuine comfort and strength". The Bible in  2 Kings 20:5 says, “Go back and tell Hezekiah, the ruler of my people, ‘This is what the Lord , the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the Lord".

When you experience serious challenges in life, just pour out your heart to God in prayer, He cares and is able to address  your situation instantly.
It can be sicknesses or loss of  beloved ones, the Lord is the only one whom you can turn to and receive  genuine, true comfort and care. (Matthew 11:28-30, 1 Peter 5:7).

In a common story in the Bible about the death of Lazarus,  after hearing where Christ was, Mary ran towards Him, fell on her knees and wept before Jesus, all she could say was " If only you were here my brother would still be alive" and she wept as she was grieving for her brother Lazarus.

The Bible says Mary and the Jews that were present wept and their weeping moved and troubled Christ's spirit so much that He also wept (John 11:33-36). The Bible also tells us of a lady called Hannah who was ridiculed and was the laughing stock of the household because she could not bare children.

The scripture in 1 Samuel 1:10;13 says, about "Hannah that  in her deep anguish Hannah prayed to the Lord , weeping bitterly. Hannah was praying in her heart, and her lips were moving but her voice was not heard. Eli thought she was drunk"

There are times when situations overwhelm us so much that we do not have the words to say to God, but just fall before Him and weep. In the Book of John when Jesus wept the Jews said amongst themselves " see how He loved Lazarus" (John 11:36).
If the Jews could see what Jesus's tears meant; what more our Father in Heaven.

The Bible in John 3:16 says God loved us  so much that He gave His only son to die for our sins.
God loves you and when you weep to Him He weeps with you out of love, but when He weeps surely something is about to change.

He does not weep in pretence like what some other people do in most funeral gatherings.
He genuinely feels your pain and grieves or weep with you and does not pretend.

We hear that there are now people called professional mourners, hired to weep at funerals, something which was taboo and unheard of in past years. It is sad and pathetic indeed to have such people who pretend to comfort others and yet they don't mean it.

Go to the Lord with all your worries  and problems, he is always ready to receive and comfort you wholeheartedly. ( Psalm 46:1-3). The Bible says, "Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." ( Matthew 11:28) True rest and comfort is in the Lord.

Psalm 56:8 says, "You have counted my wanderings. Put my tears into Your bottle. Are they not in Your book?" From this scripture we see that God remembers and counts our tears. God has not forgotten one drop of your tears. The tears of Martha and Mary saw Lazarus emerging from the tomb. Hannah gave birth to Samuel because God saw her tears and heard her prayer, even when there were no words.

When situations overwhelm you so much that when you  pray, words can not come out of your mouth due to grief, pain, hurt, betrayal, needs, lose, or any other life situations, know that when you fall on your knees before God, God sees your tears, He hears the cry and recognises what you need. ( Hebrews 4:16).

Revelation 7:17 says, "........God will wipe away every tear from their eyes." Those  that weep before the Lord, He will wipe out their tears.( Psalms 56:8)
Tears are prayers too, they travel to God when we cannot speak. ( Romans 8:26-27).
We travail in the spirit when it seems difficult to utter words.

Whatever you are feeling and going through right now, just pour out your heart to God and weep. The Lord sees your tears and feels your grief and pain right now.
He will comfort and strengthen you in the name of Jesus.

Just take it all to the Lord in prayer.( Jeremiah 33:3, 1 5:14-15).
He can resurrect your dream and the dead Lazarus in your life.

Whatever seems to be dead in your life,  may it be resuscitated and resurrected in the name of Jesus.  Your marriage,  business,  relationship, hope and dreams , be resurrected right now in the name of Jesus.

May God comfort and strengthen you in the name of Jesus!
