POUR OUT YOUR HEART TO GOD FOR GENUINE COMFORT AND STRENGTH

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word of encouragement for your meditation  and prayer. I just want to encourage someone who may be feeling devastated by sudden happenings in life. The title of my message is: " Pour out your heart to God for genuine comfort and strength". The Bible in  2 Kings 20:5 says, “Go back and tell Hezekiah, the ruler of my people, ‘This is what the Lord , the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the Lord".

When you experience serious challenges in life, just pour out your heart to God in prayer, He cares and is able to address  your situation instantly.
It can be sicknesses or loss of  beloved ones, the Lord is the only one whom you can turn to and receive  genuine, true comfort and care. (Matthew 11:28-30, 1 Peter 5:7).

In a common story in the Bible about the death of Lazarus,  after hearing where Christ was, Mary ran towards Him, fell on her knees and wept before Jesus, all she could say was " If only you were here my brother would still be alive" and she wept as she was grieving for her brother Lazarus.

The Bible says Mary and the Jews that were present wept and their weeping moved and troubled Christ's spirit so much that He also wept (John 11:33-36). The Bible also tells us of a lady called Hannah who was ridiculed and was the laughing stock of the household because she could not bare children.

The scripture in 1 Samuel 1:10;13 says, about "Hannah that  in her deep anguish Hannah prayed to the Lord , weeping bitterly. Hannah was praying in her heart, and her lips were moving but her voice was not heard. Eli thought she was drunk"

There are times when situations overwhelm us so much that we do not have the words to say to God, but just fall before Him and weep. In the Book of John when Jesus wept the Jews said amongst themselves " see how He loved Lazarus" (John 11:36).
If the Jews could see what Jesus's tears meant; what more our Father in Heaven.

The Bible in John 3:16 says God loved us  so much that He gave His only son to die for our sins.
God loves you and when you weep to Him He weeps with you out of love, but when He weeps surely something is about to change.

He does not weep in pretence like what some other people do in most funeral gatherings.
He genuinely feels your pain and grieves or weep with you and does not pretend.

We hear that there are now people called professional mourners, hired to weep at funerals, something which was taboo and unheard of in past years. It is sad and pathetic indeed to have such people who pretend to comfort others and yet they don't mean it.

Go to the Lord with all your worries  and problems, he is always ready to receive and comfort you wholeheartedly. ( Psalm 46:1-3). The Bible says, "Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." ( Matthew 11:28) True rest and comfort is in the Lord.

Psalm 56:8 says, "You have counted my wanderings. Put my tears into Your bottle. Are they not in Your book?" From this scripture we see that God remembers and counts our tears. God has not forgotten one drop of your tears. The tears of Martha and Mary saw Lazarus emerging from the tomb. Hannah gave birth to Samuel because God saw her tears and heard her prayer, even when there were no words.

When situations overwhelm you so much that when you  pray, words can not come out of your mouth due to grief, pain, hurt, betrayal, needs, lose, or any other life situations, know that when you fall on your knees before God, God sees your tears, He hears the cry and recognises what you need. ( Hebrews 4:16).

Revelation 7:17 says, "........God will wipe away every tear from their eyes." Those  that weep before the Lord, He will wipe out their tears.( Psalms 56:8)
Tears are prayers too, they travel to God when we cannot speak. ( Romans 8:26-27).
We travail in the spirit when it seems difficult to utter words.

Whatever you are feeling and going through right now, just pour out your heart to God and weep. The Lord sees your tears and feels your grief and pain right now.
He will comfort and strengthen you in the name of Jesus.

Just take it all to the Lord in prayer.( Jeremiah 33:3, 1 5:14-15).
He can resurrect your dream and the dead Lazarus in your life.

Whatever seems to be dead in your life,  may it be resuscitated and resurrected in the name of Jesus.  Your marriage,  business,  relationship, hope and dreams , be resurrected right now in the name of Jesus.

May God comfort and strengthen you in the name of Jesus!
