HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR THE LORD, WHERE WOULD I BE?

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer.

The tittle of my message is: "HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR THE LORD, WHERE WOULD I BE?"

 

Certainly if the Lord was not on my side, I would not be what I am today. We are what we are by God's grace. (  Corinthians 15:10, Psalm 118:5-10). You are alive today because God allowed it to happen and has given you another chance to live. Remember, the spirit of every living thing is in the hands of the Lord. ( Job 12:10, Acts 17:28). The Bible says, "In him we live, and move and have our being..."

 

The NET Bible in  Psalm 94:17-23 says,"If the Lord had not helped me, I would have laid down in the silence of death. If I say, “My foot is slipping,” your loyal love, O Lord, supports me. When worries threaten to overwhelm me, your soothing touch makes me happy. Cruel rulers are not your allies, those who make oppressive laws. They conspire against the blameless, and condemn to death the innocent. But the Lord will protect me, and my God will shelter me. He will pay them back for their sin. He will destroy them because of their evil; the Lord our God will destroy them."

 

You went through painful and devastating situations ,but the Lord fought for you, so that you would not perish or die.

He has fought many battles and wars for you. You were not attacked by sicknesses and diseases, not because you are clever or smart, but because God saved your life. 

 

We are all sustained and saved by God's grace. Whatever, you are today is because of the Lord.

God's unfailing love always locates those that fear and reverence him.

 

He  grants you the desires of your hearts. He protects you from all evil forces of darkness.( Psalm 124:1-8, Proverbs 22:4, Proverbs 9:10, Psalm 37:4-5).

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Long life and good health is rewarded to the humble and God fearing people.
Just stop, reflect back and see what the Lord has done for you over the past years.
Don't forget to thank him for his mercies which endure forever!
