Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!
The tittle of my message is:"ARE YOU TRUSTING GOD OR TRUSTING ANOTHER FORCE?" The Bible in Psalm 20:7 ISV says, "Some boast in chariots, others in horses; but we will boast in the name of the LORD our God. "
I want to mention that, every living being has some form of emptiness which needs to be filled by something, rather than food.
Therefore a person seeks to fill that void with some other force or supernatural power.
This is what has led the Human race to look for some other force or power that is beyond human understanding.
Because many times there comes a time when one feels empty and lonely, and the only solution to that emptiness, will be JESUS Christ, the hope of glory.
The Holy Spirit fills the empty space and comforts you, when you feel low and lonely.
The above scripture tells us that there are people who trust in some visible images or other tangible things.
But for those of us who have now known the Lord and are born again, seek refuge and trust in the LIVING God.
Even those that are not born again know that there is a bigger force,(God) somewhere who needs to be worshipped and referenced.
Who are you relying or trusting on everyday in your daily activities and programmes?
Is it your money, education, career, wealth, property, idol, or any other force?
The Bible in Proverbs 3:5 ISV says, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not depend on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:6 ISV says, "In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
The above scripture encourages us not to lean or trust in anything else, besides the LIVING God. It is only God who can direct our paths and our future. It is God also who knows everything concerning our lives. ( Psalm 37:23, Psalm 119:105). Nothing else can sustain and protect you, save for the LIVING MESSIAH and YAHWEH the omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient and all powerful GOD!
Who are you trusting, God or any other force? Know the God you worship and trust and you will never be shaken or moved by anything! ( Psalm 125:1-2, Psalm 121, Romans 8:31, Psalm 118:5-10).
