THE DANGERS OF COMPARISON

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!
I am delighted once again to continue sharing the word of God, at such a time as this. The Bible says, " Each of you must examine your own actions. Then you can be proud of your own accomplishments without comparing yourself to others."(Galatians 6:4-5) The title of my message is: " THE DANGERS OF COMPARISON"

I just want to mention that you must not bother yourself by comparing yourself with other people.
Be content and happy about what you are in life. Stop comparing yourself, because you may subject yourself under immense pressure, due to unnecessary competition. ( 2 Corinthians 10:2).

While still talking about offense, I want to say, that another subtle trap that can put you on the road to offense is assuming or supposing something that you don't know for certain.
This type of behavior is so dangerous because it is usually based on innacurrate information, particularly when it comes to God. In reality, there is no reason to suppose anything about God.

You can know without a doubt what God will do because He has already stated it in His word. Religious people say, " You just never know what God is going to do." But the person making a statement like this either doesn't know or doesn't believe God's Word.
The Word of God tells you exactly what He will do. God's will is clearly confirmed in His Word. For instance, people have said, " If it's God's will, He will heal me."

But that is simply a wasted statement because God has clearly stated throughout the Bible that it is His will to heal. First Peter 2:24 says, " Who Himself ( Jesus) bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness by whose stripes you were healed." Exodus15:26 states, " For I am the Lord who heals you."

Isaiah 57:19 says, " I create the fruit of the lips: peace, peace to him who is far off and to him who is near," says the Lord, " And will heal him." These and countless other Scriptures shed light on God's will concerning healing.
Not only can you know that it is God's will to heal, but you can be confident that whatever God has said in His Word is available to you! God always means exactly what He says.

According to Hebrews 6:18, " It is impossible for  for God to lie." God has written His will in the Bible, and He will never change. Psalm 15:4 says,  " He who swears to his own hurt and does not change." As a result, there is never an occasion to assume or suppose it comes to the will of God.

So assumptions and comparisons should not hold us back in our faith.
There are dangers in comparison and assumptions.
Be yourself, and be content with who you are and what you have.

May God richly bless you all!.
