OFFENSE DENIES YOU PEACE

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!
Once again I want to mention that offense and unforgiveness can deny you breakthroughs and blessings.
Furthermore, offense and unforgiveness can also deny you freedom and peace.  The title  of my message is: " OFFENSE DENIES YOU PEACE"

The Bible  says, " Work at getting along with each other and with God. Otherwise you 'll never get so much as a glimpse of God." ( Hebrews 12:14 MSG)
Living a life of contentment is your choice. So is living in offense is also your choice.
And, of course, offense will prevent you from being content. Not only will offense deny you contentment, but it can stop you from sleeping at night, from digesting food properly, and if that is not enough, it will cause great difficulty in your relationships.

Offense and unforgiveness, will also prevent you from working at peak performance in your job.
You won't be able to think efficiently when working on your finances and paying your bills. Basically, when you lack contentment, you will not be all that God intends for you to be.
Lastly, you will not be at peace in life when you are harbouring  offense in your heart.

Although we have all had wrong things done to us, what others do is of little importance.
However, what you do is critical. There will always be someone who comes against you, or someone who will lie to you or lie about you. There will always be untrustworthy people who will always try to steal from you. In fact, it doesn't matter how good  a person you are, there will always be people who talk badly about you behind your back. People criticized Jesus, lied about Him, and became offended with Him. And because they mistreated Jesus, they will mistreat you.

Jesus warned about this ill- treatment in Matthew 10:24-25 saying, "A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.
It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master.
If they have called  the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household."

Since Jesus  was treated badly, what makes you think you can avoid these things?
Certainly you don't consider yourself greater than the master, do you?
Jesus said in John 16:33,  " In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

Although Jesus warned us that we would have trouble, His focus was on the  fact that He overcame; therefore, we can overcome!
The Apostle Paul was not only familiar with trouble, but he experienced victory as well.
In 2 Corinthians 4:8-11, he described the attitude he held toward difficulty:" We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken, struck down, but not destroyed-  always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus may be manifested in our body. For we who live are always delivered to death  for Jesus' sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh."

Notice the uplifting way of thinking  Paul maintained toward  difficult times.
He had every reason to be discontent; however, he chose to rejoice in the goodness of God. Make the determination today to adopt Paul's attitude towards difficult times, as well as towards difficult people.

Learn to be content regardless of the circumstances. And as you apply what you learn to godliness, you will begin to experience great gain. So as you have seen offense and unforgiveness can deny you peace and freedom.
Try to live a peaceful and quiet life.

Avoid by all means possible everything which may lead to anger, fighting and hurt.
Remember, "Offense and Unforgiveness, deny you Peace and Freedom!"

May God richly bless you all!
