HUMILITY AND PERSISTENCE ARE KEY TO ACCESSING OUR BREAKTHROUGH

SHALOM! I just want to start by mentioning that humility and persistence, enable us as Christians to achieve our goals and purpose for life. We should always be humble and patient in our Christian walk, in order to attract God's attention and sympathy.

In Matthew 15vs 22-28, we read the story of a Canaanite woman who desperately needed deliverance and miraculous healing for her daughter, who had suffered for a long time and she humbly approached Jesus to deliver her.

Let me hasten to say that, until you react, God can't act. Until you act, God can't react. Remember, communication is a two way process, and as we pray and commune with God, He responds to our approach in prayer.

The Canaanite woman knew and understood that she was an outsider, who represented a gentile Church.
She knew she didn't deserve the mercy of Jesus as an outsider, but grace qualified her. The woman said to herself I don't deserve it, but I will still cry out for your help Master.

The Bible says, " Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
But he answered and said, it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
And she said, Truth, Lord: yet dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table." ( Matthew 15vs25-27. What a sign of humility expressed here! Remember, if you don't cry out and persist in life, you will suffer in silence and miss out on your blessings. ( Mark 10vs 46-52). Blind Bartimaeus knew the secret, and cried out to Jesus for mercy on him. Jesus healed him and immediately,
he received his sight.

However, the Canaanite woman was desperate in a positive way.
She did not care about the  insult of being called a dog, all she wanted was for her child to be delivered.

How many insults or gossips have you heard and you decided not to go to church. Jesus here is the church of God. you have to be humble and persevere, if you are to come out from the situation which you have been in for a long time.
The Canaanite woman understood that the Lord's mercy, endures for ever and he came for the redemption of us sinners. She said, even though I am a sinner, I am still your daughter, so temper justice with mercy.

" We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed.". ( 2 Corinthians 4vs8-9).

Jesus heard her language and said you are not a dog, because a dog does not speak. So rise up and get your miracle. " I say rise up right now and shake off your dust, as you receive your healing, deliverance and breakthrough." ( Isaiah 51vs 1-3).

People of God, we need to be humble and persistent in our faith, in order to access our healing and deliverance. The attitude that we go before God with, is what activates God to respond to our needs and desires, as well as our prayer requests. ( Luke 18vs1-8, Psalm 37vs4, Psalm 20vs4-7). You must not give up easily in your faith in God and prayer life. The woman in Luke 18 vs3-6, continued to plead her case before the unjust Judge, until she was granted her request by the judge. It is the same with us, let us persistently go before God, with whatever we need, we shall certainly access our breakthrough.

Remember, the scripture also says, "By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life." (Proverbs 22vs4).
So we should always approach God's throne with humility and a submissive spirit. God looks as our hearts and sincerity, as we go before him. ( Psalm 51vs10, 17, Hebrews 4vs16).  The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, Oh! God".

As I mentioned earlier, God looks at your heart and attitude. Jesus was touched by the woman's humility and was declared to be a woman of great faith, and humility.
If you want to succeed in life, you must be humble, persistent, obedient and faithful all the time. ( James 4vs10, Hebrews 11vs6).

Just remain faithful and humble, while doing good, and the will of God, the Lord will reward you in due season. ( Galatians 6vs 9-10; Hebrews 6vs10).

God bless you all!
