OVERCOMING THE SPIRIT OF FEAR

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!  I want to share about  the spirit of fear. Many people's faith is destroyed by the Spirit of fear. The title of my message is : " OVERCOMING THE SPIRIT OF FEAR!" The Bible says, " For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." ( 2 Timothy 1:7). Fear is a normal, natural flight response to a danger in our surroundings. But what happens when it is something more, when it is an emotion we feel  simply getting into our car, leaving our house or being in a crowd." The Bible also says, " For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, " Abba! Father! " ( Romans 8:15). The spirit of slavery leads to fear. But the truth is that we can live a life without fear through the grace and power of God. The enemy will bring fear to us, our own flesh will be tempted to fear, but we can have victory over fear through the power of the Holy Spirit.There may be evil " spirits of fear" that are sent to attack people. I have known of people who were so bound by fear that I knew it to have demonic origin and these people needed believers to pray for them and bind that spirit to see deliverance.( Mark 16:15-17). However, most of the time we can simply turn our attention to the Word of God and deal with the fear through prayer and the word.(1 John 4:18). Perfect love casts out fear!" It is a sin to fear when Jesus said " fear not"? Sometimes the spirit of fear is caused by one's feeling of inadequacy, hopelessness, self piety, doubt, unworthiness, inferiority complex,    perpetual torture and physical beating. But you can overcome the spirit of fear by reading and meditatibg on scriptures such as, "I ican do all things through Christ who strengthens me" ( Philippians 4:13). " No weapon formed against me shall prosper....." ( Isaiah 54:17). " Who shall separate us from the Love of Christ ? ........".( Romans 8:35-39). "........ If God is for us, who can be against us?" ( Romans 8:31, Psalm 118:5-11). There are many other scriptures which you can use when praying and meditating everyday, in order to overcome the "spirit of fear".  The love of God drives away fear of condemnation. A person without Christ is always full of fear of God's judgement day.  God's ( Christ) love casts away fear and worry!( 1 John 4:17-18). The person without Christ is under judgement and has plenty to fear ( John 3:18), but once a person is in Christ, the fear of judgement is gone. You are reconciled to God, and           " there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" ( Romans 8:1). The key to overcoming fear is total and complete trust in God. ( Proverbs 3:5-6). To trust God is refusing to give in to fear. Trusting God is how  Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego faced the fiery furnace without fear( Daniel 3:15-26). Trusting God is how Stephen stood before his killers fearlessly  ( Acts 7). Even in the darkest times, we can trust God to make things right. This trust comes from knowing God and knowing that He is good. This trust also comes from knowing that our help comes from the Lord. ( Psalm 121:1-8 The people who know their God will be strong and take action!" ( Daniel 11:32)  " .......Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you." ( Psalm 5:11). In conclusion as I summarize, the word perfect in 1 John 4:18 which means "complete " or " mature", and the love that is referred to is God's selfless agape love. The fear that this perfect love drives out is the fear of punishment. We have God's promise that believers in Christ will not be judged with the world: " God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ" ( 1 Thessalonians 5:9, 1 Corinthians 11:32). We can therefore say like David the plsalmist, " In God I trust and I am not afraid". ( Psalm 57:11). What are you afraid of? Is it rejection, hurt, humiliation or anything  else? Fear not? The Lord will take care of your worries and cares. ( 1 Peter 5:7-10, Psalm 55:22). ( Isaiah 43:1). Did you know that the phrase " fear not" is used at least 80 times in the Bible, most likely because God  knows the enemy uses fear to decrease our hope, faith, and limit our victories. ( Deuteronomy 31:8, Romans 8:28, Psalm 18:2) Be delivered from the spirit of fear and worry, in the name of Jesus! " Fear Not!" God is on your side.

REPLACE NEGATIVE FEELINGS WITH PEACE

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!  Once again I am delighted to share the word of encouragement and hope, at such a time as this.The title of my message is:"REPLACE NEGATIVE FEELINGS WITH PEACE" The Living Bible in Psalms 119:165 says,
[165]"Those who love your laws have great peace of heart and mind and do not stumble." Although it is a wonderful feeling to see a person who has historically triggered negative emotions  without having any unpleasant feelings toward them, it's even better to replace the negative feelings with great peace! Destructive emotions no longer have to dominate you. When you release offense, it can be replaced with great peace. Notice that the Word doesn't describe it as "ordinary peace;" instead it characterizes it as great peace." (Although for some, ordinary peace would be a welcomed option!) The peace that the psalmist is referring to is supernatural peace. Jesus declared in the scripture below that the world could not gain access to this kind of peace.  The Amplified Bible in John 14:27 says,
[27]"Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]" This verse is referring to super - strength peace. For example, a store may sell regular strength asprin to manage an ordinary headache. They also sell an extra strength pain reliever to alleviate a more serious headache. In addition, they sell a magnum strength painkiller for migraine headaches. Meanwhile  Psalm 119:165 indicates that this kind of great peace is a noble and princely peace. What kind of peace do you suppose a prince would have?When your birthright is of royal ancestry, you have extraordinary peace because you know that everything is under control. Peter pronounces that heritage on us.
The Amplified Bible in 1 Peter 2:9 says,
[9]"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God's] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light." [Exod. 19:5, 6.] As a born - again believer, you can have princely peace because your lineage is a royal priesthood. God has chosen you and has adopted you into His family. You now have God's blood flowing in your veins. What can hurt or upset you when you know God is on your side?          Romans8:31 says,          " What then shall we say to these  things? If God is for us, who can be against us?" Indeed nothing shall hurt you. Although the Word says that loving the law of God will give you great peace, the devil can use anything as a stumbling block against you. And, when you don't exercise your God - given authority over the devices of the enemy, offense can cause you to lose your balance. In Luke 10:19, Jesus entrusts you with authority: " Behold, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you" Jesus has given believers authority over all the power of the enemy, and nothing by any means can harm you. Cruel words and insults cannot harm you. Wicked deeds have no damaging power over you. Insensitive people are harmless against you. Nothing offensive can harm you. Because of this authority, you are in control and that brings peace! Remember, that doesn't mean you allow people to walk on you. There is a vast difference between being a doormat and choosing to forgive. Just because you refuse to take offense,  doesn't mean you are a noodle! Actually, you will be demonstrating great strength. Choose to live in your God - given authority, and the Bible promises that nothing by any means shall hurt you.       " Replace Negative  Feelings with Peace"  Seek peace and speak peace with all people. ( Hebrews 12:14, Philippians 4:6-7)

ABUNDANT GRACE

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word of hope and assurance at such a time as this, in the new year. The Amplified Bible in 1 Timothy 1:14 says,
[14]"And the grace (unmerited favor and blessing) of our Lord [actually] flowed out superabundantly and beyond measure for me, accompanied by faith and love that are [to be realized] in Christ Jesus." The title of my new year's message is:"ABUNDANT GRACE"! I just want to start by wishing you a prosperous and fruitful new year. Although, many of us may want to quickly forget about year 2020, because of its many bad experiences and challenges, to some it was an opportunity for learning and experiencing new things in life. However, most of us want to forget this past year 2020, due to a number of reasons, but it is also a year that helped many of us to take stock of many things, and become introspective in many ways. Some people discovered hidden strengths, forgotten and under utilised skills and talents, during the Covid-19 lockdown. Other people revisited and rekindled lost relationships, which made us to appreciate many liberties we have taken for granted in the past. I just want to say " Ebenezer" that's far the Lord has taken us! ( 1 Samuel 7:12) We have made it by His grace, as we survived  2020!" " We declare "2021 THE YEAR OF ABUNDANT GRACE" You have now been ushered into a dawn of new era. A dawn of " ABUNDANT GRACE!" in 2021. You shall experience His glorious presence and abundant grace, despite your past devastating experiences. God's grace is sufficient for you. ( 2 Corinthians 12:9-11)  Although, we may be having a few scars from the past year's experiences, be strong and encourage yourself, since it is now history and water under the bridge.
On a more personal note I know I could not have done it without my faith. My faith in God, His word and His promise that He will never leave me or forsake me (Deut 31:6), that He will supply my every need (Phil 4:19), that if I continue to wait on Him I shall renew my strength, I shall rise up like an eagle, I shall run and not be weary, walk and not faint(Isaiah 40:28-31). I'm still waiting on Him and trusting in Him. I know He will never abandon or dissapoint me. I hope and pray that you know Him and if you don't please, get to know Him. (John 3:16) His strength has sustained us  more than you will ever know, or imagine.(Psalm 73:26) The scripture says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Love and blessings" God has better plans for you and me. He wants you to live your life in abundance.
The Amplified Bible in John 1:16 says,
[16]"For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift [heaped] upon gift." Each one of us has a measure of special grace, which sustains us, everyday. I therefore declare abundant  grace upon you in 2021, in the name of Jesus Christ.
The Amplified Bible in Isaiah 43:18-19 says,
[18]"Do not [earnestly] remember the former things; neither consider the things of old.
[19]Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." Just forget about the former challenges, problems, bitterness and hatred and focus  on the future. However, if you cling on the past offenses, you may not experience the promised abundant grace and blessings in 2021. Remember, offenses and unforgiveness, can be a barrier and hinderance to your breakthrough and answered prayers.  ( Mark 11:24-26, Isaiah 59:1-3)               The  Living Bible in John 1:16 says,
[16]"We have all benefited from the rich blessings he brought to us—blessing upon blessing heaped upon us!" So abundant grace is your benefit and right, as a born again Christian. We were blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. ( Ephesians 1:3)
The Amplified Bible in John 10:10 says,
[10]"The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)". It is only the thief ( devil) who wants to kill, steal and destroy your destiny, relationships, marriages, joy, peace and business and plans. But Jesus came to give us abundant life and abundant grace. Once again just look foward to this year 2021, it has plenty of good surprises for you. "2021 IS THE YEAR OF ABUNDANT GRACE" Once again, I declare        " Abundant Grace" upon you in the name of Jesus Christ! Happy New year 2021! Happy New Year to you and your family!

THE LORD NEEDS YOU AND HAS A PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE.

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! I am delighted to share the word of encouragement and empowerment, at such a time as this.The title of my message is:"THE LORD NEEDS YOU AND HAS A PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE" It is important to comprehend that God sees you right where you are and needs you because He has a purpose for your life. The Bible says," For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."( Jeremiah 29:11) God has a better plan and purpose for your life. I just want also to mention that, there are three basic needs to every human being. You need somebody to see you; you need somebody to need you; you need something to give your life to. Giving your life to another human being is not enough. Pouring yourself into a career and buying material things will not feed the gnawing need in your heart. There will always be a 'vacancy'  sign flashing in the window of your soul. In my own experience when I discovered Jesus, life seemed to pulse with purpose and meaning. I couldn't keep it to myself. I had to share what I had discovered. But there was a problem. Pastors wouldn't let me preach in the churches because they thought I had ' outhouse religion', so I preached at work places and lunch hour prayer meetings , or wherever anybody would listen. I finally got my chance, though, when they agreed to let me preach at some organized events,  such as youth gatherings, thanksgiving and revival services. That particular day on Sunday people sat listening attentively and many were delivered and uplifted in the name of Jesus Christ.That was the beginning of my journey to my call to Ministry. The Lord started using me in healing and deliverance services, where I saw many souls being won and delivered. I began preaching in season and out of season, spreading the good news of Christ Jesus.( 2 Timothy 4:2-5) That also made me to enrol at a Bible College, in order to further enhance my knowledge and call to Ministry, through training and practical teachings. All of us have  different calls and purposes in life. Know your purpose and plan for your life, and you will fill that emptiness in your life. Once again, "THE LORD KNOWS YOU AND HAS A PURPOSE AND PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE"

GOD GAVE US JESUS AS A SIGN OF LOVE

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! Once again, I am pleased to share the word of encouragement and hope at such a time as this. The title of my message is: "GOD GAVE US JESUS AS A SIGN OF LOVE" The Living Bible in John 3:16-18 says,
[16]"For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
[17]God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it.
[18]“There is no eternal doom awaiting those who trust him to save them. But those who don’t trust him have already been tried and condemned for not believing in the only Son of God." The scripture above confirms God's highest degree of love towards mankind. He sacrificed His only begotten son to save mankind from perishing because of sin, which is indeed a sign of love towards us all. As we continue to reflect on the significance of Christmas, we are also touched and uplifted by God's amazing love towards us all as His children, at such a time as this. Today it is the boxing day, just make time to exchange gifts with family members, friends and fellow believers. That is another gesture of demonstrating God's love, towards one another, as God's children. But above all, allow Jesus  Christ to renew your faith and hope in the Lord, as He fills your empty self, by His spirit in you. He is the hope of all glory!( Colossians 1:26-27) Let Him change your situation for the better.  As He has been born again in your heart, may He bring joy and comfort to the brokenhearted.(Psalm 34:17-19)  Find peace and joy in the Lord, at such a time as this. Verse 17 of John 3, says" God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it." If you continue to trust God, you will not be disappointed or put to shame.( Psalms 125:1-2, Romans 10:11)
The Amplified Bible in Isaiah 11:1-2 says,
[1]"AND THERE shall come forth a Shoot out of the stock of Jesse [David's father], and a Branch out of his roots shall grow and bear fruit. [Isa. 4:2; Matt. 2:23; Rev. 5:5; 22:16.]
[2]And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him–the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the reverential and obedient fear of the Lord–"  Did you know that  when you receive Jesus Christ  as your Lord and Saviour, you also receive the spirit of wisdom and knowledge that is in the Lord Jesus. And you are also filled with the spirit of obedience and fear of the Lord. ( Proverbs 9:10) Whatever, has been bothering you over the years, may it come to an end in the name of Jesus Christ. Allow Jesus to rule and reign in your in you, and your life will never be the same again. Remember, God's love conquers all things!! ( 1 John 4:7-21) Because God is love, and if the  love of God dwells in you through Christ Jesus, all anger, hatred, hurt, bitterness and unforgiveness, must disappear in the name of Jesus Christ! "CHRISTMAS BOX TO YOU ALL" Share, love and exchange gifts, as you celebrate this special  day.

REMOVE BAD APPLES FROM THE BASKET OF LIFE

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! The Bible says, " Jesus  replied, ' You do not realize now  what I am doing, but later you will understand" ( John 13:7). At times we may do things which other people and relatives may not understand, but later on it will work out for good. " Remember, all things work together for good. (Romans 8:28)  The title of my message is:"REMOVE BAD APPLESFROM THE BASKET OF LIFE" People who add no value in your life should be removed from the basket of your friends. It is better to make a bold decision when it is not too late in life, than regretting in future. Bad apples may cause other apples to be bad as well, so never hesitate to remove them from your basket of friends.Temporary friendship is very easy  to terminate, than a permanent one. Remember, we are about to cross over to the new year and therefore off- load all garbage of barriers which may hinder your success and progress in life. Off load all toxic matter which may contaminate your breakthrough in 2021, and move on with life.
Never put Temporary people in the Permanent place of your Life, and don't be afraid of Removing the Wrong People from the Right Place of your Life. The Bible also says, " Blessed is a man that walketh not in the counsel of ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful..........".( Psalms 1:1-3).  Remove all bad characters in your life, because they may spoil your destiny. Remove all bad habits in your life, because they may affect your faith, and your destiny. If it's your Life then it's your Right. Be Bold to take any Decision concerning your Life. If they call it Pride, tell them it's conforming to the will of God. No matter the Economy of the Jungle, Lions will never eat Grass. Even if Education is Free, a Rat will never go to the same School with a Cat. You cannot go anywhere with Negative people. You cannot go anywhere with people of bad influence in life.  Negative people are like Cars without Fuel and Engines. You can only sit in them, but they will NEVER take you anywhere. Destiny killers will lead you to perishing and destruction. But Destiny helpers like Jesus Christ, lead you to abundant life and success.( John 10:10, Deuteronomy 8:18). You can't Change what you see until you Learn from what you see. Be careful who you Open up to. Don't open up to Gehaz (Gossipers), but you can open up to Elisha! ( Jesus Christ) (2 Kings 4:25-27) Only a few people Care. The rest just Want to have Something to Gossip about. Some people come into your Life like a Dark Storming Night. When the Storm is Over and the Sun Rises, it Becomes a Beautiful Day. Make  Beautiful Days in your Life  by Removing the "Storms" in your Life.
May the Almighty God be with you, guide and  protect you in the hand of your physical and spiritual enemies. Make a bold decision right now not to carry baggage and weevils into the new year, because you will not go anywhere in life, but just sink and rot. Remove, bitterness, unforgiveness, hurt, offenses, jealousy, anger, hatred and pride  from your heart and life. ( Ephesians 4:31-32). Remember, 
Weak people Revenge, Strong people forgive.  Choose to forgive and forget.                 "REMOVE  BAD APPLES FROM YOUR  BASKET OF LIFE!" Live a new, offense free life and as born again person!(2 Corinthians 5:17-21)
