YOU ARE GOD'S CHILDREN YOU DESERVE BETTER

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!    I am delighted to share the word of hope and encouragement at such a time as this! The title of my message is:"YOU ARE GOD'S CHILDREN, YOU DESERVE BETTER"  The Amplified Bible in Matthew 15:25-28
[25]"But she came and, kneeling, worshiped Him and kept praying, Lord, help me!
[26]And He answered, It is not right (proper, becoming, or fair) to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs.
[27]She said, Yes, Lord, yet even the little pups (little whelps) eat the crumbs that fall from their [young] masters' table.
[28]Then Jesus answered her, O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you wish. And her daughter was cured from that moment." Jesus had gone to a house at the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and did not want anyone to know where He was. But the Bible says He  could not hide, for a certain woman, whose daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of Him and came to Him asking for help. She wanted Him to cast out the evil spirit from her daughter. Seeing that she was not a Jew, Jesus said, "It is not right to take the children's bread, cast it to dogs." But she would not be deterred and she responded, " The dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their master's table." Jesus was moved by the woman's faith, and her daughter was made whole. Listen child of God! This kind of humility and submission is very rare among most believers. If it was someone who was proud and short tempered, they were going to miss their daughter's healing and deliverance. But this woman was humble and down to mother earth. Many people have missed their breakthroughs, due to pride and arrogance. Instead of being patient and humble, one would have taken Jesus's response as an insult, and failed to receive a breakthrough. I am imagining someone saying," I don't care they can keep their blessing or healing, I cannot phantom this!" Such attitudes have destroyed many  people and caused them to miss their miracles and blessings in life.
The Amplified Bible in James 4:10 says,
[10]"Humble yourselves [feeling very insignificant] in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you [He will lift you up and make your lives significant]." The scripture above reminds us about the  spirit of humility, which uplifts and promotes you, as a child of God. The woman mentioned above in the book of Matthew 15, was persistent and humble in her approach, which is what is required of us all as Christians. She said she was prepared to receive the leftovers from the master's table. What a sign of humility indeed, to which Jesus referred  as great faith the kind of humility and persistence, by this woman. Because you deserve better child of God, you need this kind of faith and humility, in order to access your breakthrough and blessings. The woman's daughter was healed, because of the mother's humility and persistence. God heals, because He is good and loves to do good things for his children.
The Amplified Bible in James 1:17 says,
[17]"Every good gift and every perfect (free, large, full) gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of all [that gives] light, in [the shining of] Whom there can be no variation [rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [as in an eclipse]." Every good thing comes from God, and as God's children we all deserve good things, including healing in our bodies. In spite of medical  help available to us today, there are still so many sicknesses and diseases that are labelled incurable. But there's a God in heaven who still heals the sick and can meet anyone at the point of their need. Healing is the children's bread and every believer is a child of God. You deserve good health and good life. " You are God's children, You deserve better!" Be humble, desperate, persistent, and prayerful, to receive your Samuel like Hannah, and Isaac, like Abraham and Sarah! The scripture says, " Pride leads to destruction, and arrogance to downfall..........." Proverbs 16:18-20) Remember, humility uplifts, but pride leads to a fall and destruction!

May God richly bless you!

PLAYING BY GOD'S RULES

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ. Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! I am delighted to share the word of hope and encouragement at such a time as this. The title of my message is:"PLAYING BY GOD'S RULES" The scripture we are going to share below from 1 Peter 5:7 talks about casting our cares upon the Lord. Casting is not always easy, but it's time to start practicing. Of course, the moment we start casting our cares on the Lord, the devil is going to show up the strongest. Notice that right after Peter said, in The Amplified Bible in 1 Peter 5:7-8,
[7]"Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. [Ps. 55:22.]
[8]Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour." When you start casting, you better watch out for the enemy, because he will show up and try to stop you from casting your cares upon the Lord. He wants you to keep carrying that burden of worry and anxiety. ( Philippians 4:6-7)     I can see the conversation going a little something like this: You say, " Lord, I'm casting my care upon You." The devil brings a situation back to your mind that you need to worry about, saying, "What are you going to do now? Your job is being eliminated; what are you going to do now?" You continue in faith, " I am casting my care upon the Lord." The devil says, "You don't have enough money to pay your bills." What are you going to do now?" You keep saying, "I h've cast the care of that on the Lord. He cares about my finances, so I am not worried. His word says that all my needs are met according to His riches in glory( Philippians 4:19)
The Amplified Bible in Psalm 55:22 says,
[22]"Cast your burden on the Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain you; He will never allow the [consistently] righteous to be moved (made to slip, fall, or fail). [I Pet. 5:7.]" So casting your cares upon the Lord is a necessity, if you have to resist and oppose the devil, and not play by his rules. Always play by God's rules.
The Amplified Bible in Philippians 4:19 says,
[19]"And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." The above scripture once again clearly confirms that whatever you need or desire, just cast it upon the Lord and He will supply all your needs. The devil tries another tactic, saying, "Your body is racked with pain. What are you going to do?" You counter again, " I'm casting my care upon the Lord. The Amplified Bible in 1 Peter 2:24 says,
[24]"He personally bore our sins in His [own] body on the tree [as on an altar and offered Himself on it], that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed." The scripture here states that I have been healed by the stripes of Jesus. I am not worried or anxious about my body any longer. The Lord is taking care of that for me." Do you get it? We are in the game of life, but we don't have to play by the devil's rules. We play by God's rules. And God's rules say to cast our cares upon the Lord.
The Amplified Bible in Jeremiah 32:27 says,
[27]"Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is there anything too hard for Me?" As long as God is on your side there is nothing that He cannot do for you, because nothing is too hard for God.
The Amplified Bible in Jeremiah 33:3 says,
[3]"Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand)." Whatever, you need cast it upon the Lord in prayer and He will answer you. You have noticed and observed that the moment you start trusting God, and casting all your cares on Him, the devil also pounces on, trying to distract and discourage you from trusting God. But no matter what the devil may try, don't play by his rules, play by God's rules. Resist the devil he will flee from you.( 1 Peter 5:9, James 4:7) Don't be surprised if you face more tribulations and trials after a month of prayer and fasting, it's the devil trying to discourage you, so that you play by his rules. However, there are no trials which you cannot overcome, as long as God is on your side.(1 Corinthians 10:13; John 16:33, Roman's 8:31-32) Don't play by the devil's rules! "Play by God's rules!"

May God richly bless you!

DON'T ALLOW THE DEVIL TO DISTRACT YOU.

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ. Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! I am pleased to share the word of encouragement and hope at such a time as this! The title of my message is: "DON'T ALLOW THE DEVIL TO DISTRACT YOU" My scripture reading once again is found in The Amplified Bible in 1 Peter 5:7-10 says,
[7]"Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. [Ps. 55:22.]
[8]Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.
[9]Withstand him; be firm in faith [against his onset–rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined], knowing that the same (identical) sufferings are appointed to your brotherhood (the whole body of Christians) throughout the world.
[10]And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you." As I continue to share on the issue of casting your cares upon the Lord, I want to say, several years ago, I began to be concerned about some things. I tried to worry about them, but every time I would think about a particular situation, I started worrying about it. I knew I was supposed to cast my care upon the Lord, and would try to do just that. The devil would bring it back again and again. Remember, in my previous sharing I said " Don't play by the devil's rule, but play by God's rule. I would cast the care and the devil would bring it back - on and on, this went until  the Lord revealed something to me. He said, "These worried thoughts are mere distractions to keep you from doing what I have called you to do." Mere distractions! I decided then and there to stop letting the devil ditract me from my calling. You have a destiny to fulfill. Don't allow the devil to distract you with worry, fear,  and anxiety.
The Amplified Bible in Philippians 4:6-8 says,
[6]"Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.
[7]And God's peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
[8]For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them]." Worry and anxiety distracts your faith in God. Not only will those emotions harm you mentally and spiritually, they will eventually start to harm you physically. Worry is a sin, and worry will make you sick - physically sick. Satan will purposely create things for you to worry about. He wants you distracted and distressed  and sick. So right now, purpose in your heart  that you will not worry. How do you keep from worrying? Get rid of whatever things you are tempted to worry about. How do you get rid of them? By casting them upon the Lord! It may help you to physically stand up where you are and go through the emotions of casting a fishing line. Imagine your hook is hooked onto all the cares you have been carrying. Then learn back and cast that line of cares out beyond you - casting them upon the Lord  because He cares for you! You may have financial cares right now. Cast them away. You may have family problems.  Cast them upon the Lord. Of course, He expects us to do our part in the natural. But when you have done everything you can do, cast the rest upon the Lord. He will take care of it! If it's praying. Pray and leave everything to God. Once we have cast our concerns  upon the Lord, we can start praying out His concerns and His plans. As you cast your cares on the Lord, say, " Once and for all, I'm casting these cares upon the Lord, never to receive them back in my thought life." ( 2 Corinthians 10:3-5). The following is a prophetic utterance I received from the Lord in a church service in which I preached, some time. " As you cast your care upon the Lord, you shall rise. You shall rise to a level as you 've never seen before. For you see, my voice has been so dim. But as yoy walk with Me without distractions, That voice shall speak stronger and stronger.............    Come with an open heart and say, " God, what would you have me pray about tonight?" As you do that, revelation after revelation ,after revelation ( will flow) ....... And where there was trouble, there shall be peace. And where there has been frustration, there shall be tranquility. So make Me the center. Make Me the center! And simplify, simplify, simplify...."
As we seek the Lord to develop this kind of relationship with our heavenly Father, He is going to give us boldness where we need boldness.
The Living Bible in Matthew 11:28 says,
[28]"Come to me and I will give you rest—all of you who work so hard beneath a heavy yoke. Wear my yoke—for it fits perfectly—and let me teach you; for I am gentle and humble, and you shall find rest for your souls; for I give you only light burdens.” He is going to give us strength where we need strength and rest. He is going to give us wisdom where we need wisdom. And He is going to give us peace where we need peace.
The  Amplified Bible in Hebrews 13:6 says,
[6]"So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me? [Ps. 27:1;118:6.]" The Lord will carry us through all the trials that may come our way. He will carry us through all the hard places - right through them. And will come out rejoicing on the other side.(Isaiah 43:1-3)  Remember, Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning"( Psalm 30:5, 10, 11, 12) I want to do God's will. How about you? Are you yearning for more? Are you wanting to go higher? Are you ready to go further in His presence? Let's begin by casting our cares upon the Lord. If it takes practice, practice! Don't worry about it; sleep soundly. And if you awaken with worry, say it again, " I am casting my cares on the Lord." Peace, tranquility, wholeness, wellness - these and more shall be yours as you learn to trust and rest in the Lord! Cast all your cares upon the Lord. "DON'T ALLOW THE DEVIL TO DISTRACT YOU!"  Play by God's rule and not by the devil's rule. Peace and Joy to you All! SHALOM!

May God richly bless you!

ARE YOU FOR US OR FOR OUR ADVERSARY?

SHALOM! EMMANUEL! Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ. Just the word for your meditation and prayer! The Amplified BIBLE in Joshua 5:13 says,
[13]"When Joshua was by Jericho, he looked up, and behold, a Man stood near him with His drawn sword in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, Are you for us or for our adversaries?" If I may ask: Are you for God or for the devil? Are you for the Destiny Helper or destiny killer? Some of our acts and behaviours don't befit God's people, who are born again. They raise many questions without answers. They create suspicion instead of conviction! They promote the devil instead of God.They destroy, instead of building and edifying the body of Christ. Who do people say you are? A believer or a deceiver? A Christian or a Hypocrite? Know your identity! Be your brother and sister's keeper, and not an enemy and hater/hurter!! Let God be God, and the devil be your enemy! Love your neighbour! Love your brother and sister! Love your Father and Mother! Love all people, because love conquers all! ( Romans 12:9-21, 1 John 4:7-21, John 13:34-35, 1 Corinthians 13:1-13) Above all love God to live well, in the name of Jesus Christ! May God richly bless you!

ALL THINGS INCLUDING THE DEVIL ARE UNDER MY FEET

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word of empowerment and encouragement at such a time as this. The Living Bible in 1 Corinthians 15:27 says,
[27]"For the rule and authority over all things has been given to Christ by his Father; except, of course, Christ does not rule over the Father himself, who gave him this power to rule." The title of my message is: " ALL THINGS INCLUDING THE DEVIL ARE UNDER MY FEET" Because God has put all things under Christ's feet, and Jesus Christ is in me,  by faith, therefore all things are also under my feet as a born again child of God. I also have the authority and rule over all powers of the enemy the devil and his accomplices. Fear not because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.( 1 John 4:4). All things are under your feet,  visible and invisible. Poverty, sickness and diseases, demons, and other evil spirits, are under your feet. Why are you unsettled, worried and hopeless, if you have rule and authority over all things, including wealth and riches, which belong to your Father God of the fatherless and hopeless? Stop worrying and have faith in God, who has power over all things which pertain to life and godliness.(2 Peter 1:3, Luke 10:19, Psalm 24:1-2, Ephesians 1:21-23, Psalm 110:1-2, Hebrews 2:8). He knows all that which you need and you don't have, because He is God who sees all things, including our spiritual and physical nakedness.( Hebrews 4:13, Genesis 16:13) He is Jehovah Eli roi and Jehovah Jireh our provider and all sufficient God. Once again fear not, because "ALL THINGS ARE UNDER YOUR FEET, INCLUDING THE DEVIL"  STAY BLESSED AND PROTECTED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!!

May God richly bless you!

LET GOD TAKE OVER

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! I am delighted to share the word of hope at such a time as this. The title of my message is:"LET GOD TAKE OVER" You may feel as if you have been through so many heartaches and sorrows that you are at the brink of utter despair, but don't give up on God. He will cushion you as he leads you out of the thorns and thickets of the devil's snares. God will walk you through the storms. He has never failed, and He has never forsaken us.( Deuteronomy 31:8) He wants you to begin building positive experiences with Him and to overcome things in your life that have been bogging you down. Perhaps you are experiencing trials, sadness, abandonment, uncertainty, confusion, or doubt. Maybe you have certain habits that you would like to overcome, such as drug addiction, drinking, swearing, anxiety, anger, or gossiping and lying. Our mighty God can help you overcome all these things and more! Just talk to Him and ask Him. He has power beyond any other power on earth to deliver you if you call upon His name.(Mark 16:17-18) Power belongs to God.( Psalm 62:11)  Psalm 145 expresses God's love for us:
The Amplified Bible in Psalm 145:17-19 says,
[17]"The Lord is [rigidly] righteous in all His ways and gracious and merciful in all His works.
[18]The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him sincerely and in truth.
[19]He will fulfill the desires of those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him; He also will hear their cry and will save them." The Lord is righteous and gracious " in all His works" ( verse 17). He works in ways that are " exceedingly  abundantly above all that we ask or think "             The Amplified Bible in Ephesians 3:20 says,
[20]"Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]–" He hears and answers. "Call unto me I will answer you, .  .........."               ( Jeremiah 33:3) When you humbly turn to God like a little child ( see Matthew 18:3), you attract His blessings. He will enable you to mature in Him as you reach out to Him in prayer. That is why the devil uses whatever distractions  that he possibly can to keep us from reaching out to God.( Isaiah 59:1-3) If you are away from God or have become discouraged, turning back to Him is only a prayer away. You may not know how to pray or understand everything about prayer, but that's all right. You will learn. In the meantime, pour out your heart to God and give your life completely to Him for His direction and protection. Of course, it's vital for you first to be born again, if you are not born again. Ask Jesus to come into your heart, forgive you all your sins, wash you in His blood, and save your soul. Share your heart with Him. You can say, " Lord, here I am today. I have made mistakes, and I have sinned. Please forgive me through Jesus's sacrifice for me. I know you are here to help me overcome. And I know that as I draw closer to You and receive Your strength,  these things will fall away and I will no longer continue to them." This is all God wants - earnest and honest communication. Don't stop praying to God just because you have made a mistake.( 1 John 1:8-10). Confess your sins all the time, before you pray. As you turn to Him and He continually strengthens you, He will eventually make you an overcomer. When you invite the  Lord Jesus Christ into your life, you begin to change by the power of His presence. You become a new creation as you are regenerated and reborn.                       ( 2 Corinthians 5:17) You begin to exude the presence of your future residence-  heaven. You don't have to wait until you get to heaven to experience its tranquility; you can have the peace of heaven right here on earth.
The Living Bible in John 14:27 says,
[27]“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid". God gives us everlasting peace and joy.( Philippians 4:7, Psalm 16:11). Just let God take over, in everything you do. Ask the Lord He will direct your ways! ( Proverbs 3:6)  Remember, the steps of the righteous are directed by God. ( Psalm 37:23) " LET GOD TAKE OVER!" Whatever, may be your problem or challenge, let God take over and resolve your matters of life, in the name of Jesus Christ.

May God richly bless you!

FAITH MUST LEAD THE WAY IN OUR PRAYER LIVES

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!  I am pleased to share the word of encouragement and hope at such a time as this!  The title of my message is:"FAITH MUST LEAD THE WAY IN OUR PRAYER LIVES" The Living Bible in Hebrews 11:1 says,
[1]"What is faith? It the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead."     The conduit between prayer and manifestation is faith. When it seems as if God is not listening, faith must lead the way until the manifestation of what you have been praying for becomes a visible reality. This is why the devil plays tricks with our minds to make us think that God does not care. Satan wants us to become so frustrated that we begin to doubt the Lord. The result of our doubting is that we often try to self-medicate our spiritual wounds with earthly alternatives, such as escapism or taking action on impulse, which unfortunately may yield temporary relief,  but long - lasting bad results.
The Living Bible in Hebrews 11:6 says,
[6]"You can never please God without faith, without depending on him. Anyone who wants to come to God must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely look for him." Indeed without faith it is impossible to effect a change in our Christian journey.  The Amplified Bible. Matthew 6:8 says,
[8]Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him." Without doubt, God is listening. If God knows what your needs are before you even ask Him, then surely He hears both your inner thoughts and those that are outwardly vocalized through prayer. You need spiritual discernment and faith to believe that He will manifest your answer in the natural world. Jesus did the works of God on a consistent basis, and He said something astounding in John 14:12-14.
The Living Bible in John 14:12,14 says,
[12](12-13) “In solemn truth I tell you, anyone believing in me shall do the same miracles I have done, and even greater ones, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask him for anything, using my name, and I will do it, for this will bring praise to the Father because of what I, the Son, will do for you.
[14]Yes, ask anything, using my name, and I will do it!" The role of faith is to transfer us from a human way of thinking to a spiritual mind - set, so that we no longer think or act based upon our physical limitations. Rather, we accomplish seemingly impossible feats as we are led by the Spirit of God. God can't wait to answer your prayers. Many of us have heard the above words of Jesus recited on numerous occasions, but now we must truly receive them applicable to our lives. What is the requirement for experiencing God's divine manifestations? Believe in Jesus Christ. What happens  to those who believe? The works that Jesus did, you will be able to accomplish, also. Because Jesus returned to God, our heavenly Father, and gave us the gift of the indwelling and empowering Holy Spirit, we who believe will continue to carry on His mission. We will do even greater works in His name, for the glory of the Father. Whatever you ask in Jesus's name, the Lord will fulfill according to His will. Jesus loves it when we call upon His name to answer our requests. He receives it as worship, and as if we are saying, "Lord, You are sovereign, and only You can fulfill my need. I believe in You and have faith that You are answering my prayers as only You can." Jesus repeated His desire that we use the authority of His name in prayer:
The Amplified Bible in John 14:14 says,
[14][Yes] I will grant [I Myself will do for you] whatever you shall ask in My Name [as presenting all that" Can you imagine what will happen to us if we really believed the Word of God wothout wavering? Miracles would increase in our churches; more of us would lay hands on the sick and see them recover; people would begin to take Christians seriously; and even those who hate us would not be able to deny the anointing that would reign in our lives. This is the type of faith that David had, even before he became king of Israel. He didn't flee from challenges. David often got into trouble with his elders for coming against problems that were much bigger than he but much smaller than the God whom he served. Despite the constant criticism, David did not waver in faith when faced with adversity. ( James 1:2-7) I also urge you to have the courage of coming against problems and challenges like David. In Samuel 17, David encountered Philistine giant, Goliath, whom even the armies of Israel feared. David was just a boy  at this point. Yet when he was rebuked by his oldest brother, Eliab, David did not even acknowledge the risk associated with such a challenge. Instead, he insisted, according to the following scripture in
The Amplified Bible in 1 Samuel 17:29 says,
[29]"And David said, What have I done now? Was it not a harmless question?" In other words, David demanded to know the nature of his brother's problem with him. David did not see any problem in challenging the fierce Philistine giant Goliath. Don't  hesitate to challenge your goliath in life. Your goliath may come in many forms which are frightening and painful, but be always prepared to face all circumstances and situations of life, in the name of Jesus Christ. Have faith in God like David so that you are able to overcome all obstacles in your life. Despite his small sture, David had faith in God. Most often, when we undergo spiritual battles, our anger is misdirected. Instead of becoming angry at God for the circumstances we face, we should be like David and direct that anger toward God's enemy by defeating the devil with the word of God.( Matthew 4:4, Joshua 1:8) David was able to have faith in God because he had spent much time with Him in worship and in meditation on God's Word. In response, the Lord had already revealed and proven to David the power that he possessed through faith in Him. Through God, therefore, David had the power to overcome obstacles much greater than he.
The Amplified Bible in 1 Samuel 17:37 says,
[37]"David said, The Lord Who delivered me out of the paw of the lion and out of the paw of the bear, He will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said to David, Go, and the Lord be with you!" No one - not even the king - could dissuade David from operating by the power of God. When you are possessed by the power from on high, and you know it, there is nothing that anyone can say or do to convince you to doubt God. You don't go into prayer with wishful thinking but with great expectation. You understand that although things in the natural look impossible to defeat,  God is limitless in power and might. With Him on your side, you are operating not by your own strength but by His power.(Psalm 118:5-10, Romans 8:31-32)
The Amplified Bible in Zechariah 4:6 says,
[6]"Then he said to me, This [addition of the bowl to the candlestick, causing it to yield a ceaseless supply of oil from the olive trees] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of Whom the oil is a symbol], says the Lord of hosts."  As long as you know that you are not operating by your own power or strength, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. With God all things are possible! ( Matthew 19:26, Luke1:37) However,  faith must always lead the way! ( Philippians 4:13)

May God richly bless you!
