THE LOVE OF GOD IN YOU

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the Word for your meditation and prayer! The Bible says, " But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you." ( John 5:42)
The title  of my message  is: "THE LOVE OF GOD  IN YOU".

Only  a born- again  Christian can have the  love of God. God doesn't  have love, "God is love".
The Bible  says in Romans 5:5, " And hope maketh not ashamed; because  the love of God is shed abroad  in our hearts by the  Holy Ghost  which is given unto us." An unsaved person  cannot understand the love of God, for how can they comprehend  what  they do not possess?
An unsaved person does Not have the Holy Spirit  of God indwelling  their body......" Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit  of God dwelleth in you?" ( 1 Corinthians 3:16). ".....Now if any  man have not the Spirit  of Christ, he is none of his" ( Romans 8:9)

The love of God  is something  that only a genuine born -again Christian  can possess, understand, and express.
God's  love is unconditional,  i.e., it is not dependent  upon anything we say or do.
Romans 5:8 states, " But  God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while  we were yet sinners, Christ  died for us." God, knowing exactly how  sinful and undeserving we are, was  still willing  to send His only  begotten  Son into the world to die  for our sins.

This is the love of God. Jesus Christ  paid our sin debt, asking  nothing in return. Salvation is a "free gift" (  Romans  5:15, 6:23). Thus, the gift  of eternal life cannot be meriting, earned or obtained by self - righteousness.

THE WORLD'S SYNTHETIC LOVE.
In sharp contrast  the world's love is shallow, temporal, and conditional- which is no love at all. I can think of some many examples of the  world's type of synthetic "love". Many marriages today are wrongly based upon sex, money,  security, an unwanted  pregnancy, et cetera.

This is why the divorce rate is so high particularly in America, and many other countries all over,  including Africa.  Such marriages are doomed from the start. Much of the charity we see in society is only  donated for tax-write - off purposes, public image, or for self- gratification. The world's  love is conditional. A perfect example is when one says to their spouse, " I don't  love you anymore".

There is NO such teaching in the Word of God. We read in 1st Corinthians 13:8,  " Charity never faileth...."  for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Unlike many today who abandon  their marriage  vows and sinfully divorce, God keeps His promises ( Titus 1:2), and has promised  to never leave nor forsake His own.
What a precious Saviour! Phileo is loving you because  of who you  are; but Agape is loving you because of who I am.

LOVE IS NOT SINFUL COMPROMISE.
We hear much talk about " love" in today's world, but it is a false love, conditioned upon one's acceptance of the SINFUL WORLD......." If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you"( John 15:19).

The " love" which we hear so much about nowadays by singers, actors, psychologists, politicians, secularists, TV hosts and apostate ministers is conditioned upon the acceptance of SIN. Although the Bible  teaches  that  Christians ought to love others( Galatians 5:14); we are also taught to " have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness " ( 1 Corinthians  5:11).

There is an unbilical philosophy in many of our churches today, which seeks sympathy towards abortionists and lovers of the same sex under the pretence of "love," and refrains from speaking out against such sins from the pulpit.
This is apostasy! The  Word of God plainly teaches that Christians  have a duty  to expose sin......" And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works  of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which  are done of them secret" ( Ephesians 5:11, 12). The Greek word for " reprove" in Ephesians  5:11 is elencho, and means "to expose."

This is every Christian's responsibility  concerning sin. So love must not  be conditional, but should be based on who you are and not what  you have.  The love  that  is based on material things and external beauty, quickly fades and diminishes.  Let us love one another  unconditional, as born again Christians because God himself is love. ( 1 John 4:7-11, John 13:34-35). Endeavour to have perfect love by loving God and other people.
"THE LOVE OF GOD IN YOU."
This is a very wide subject which needs more time to teach.
I want to also mention Scriptures  that Teach God's  Unconditional  love. John 3:16 proclaims  " For God  so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." The Bible plainly  teaches that God loves the world so much that He gave His only begotten  Son to redeem us from the curse of sin. Jesus Christ died for  All men. 1 John 2:2, " And he is the propitiation for our sins:  and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world."  Anyone who says Jesus didn't  die for all mankind is a liar.

We are taught in Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth (i.e.,to introduce) his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." 1 John 3:16 further states,   " Hereby perceive we the   love of God, because  he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren." Some errant Bible  teachers CLAIM that the word " us" only refers to believers, and not the unsaved. However, 2 Peter 2:1 plainly puts them to shame, " But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. " Did you read that?

The Lord bought those false prophets! If you go to Hell, it will be your own choice, because you died in your sins without  Christ. 2 Peter 3 :9 tells us," The Lord is not slack  concerning his promise, as some me count slackneness; but is longsuffering to us-ward , not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." Some foolishly teach that God chooses who will be saved or remain unsaved. Nothing could be further from the truth of God's Word. 2 Peter 3:9 clearly  reveals that God is willing and waiting for All mankind to repent.

The choice is ours alone to make as individual human beings. Those who teach that God's love is conditional upon our obedience to Him are self-righteous, for we are all sinful and deserving of hellfire. Those who obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ  are saved by Christ's righteousness, and by His righteousness alone. ( 2 Corinthians 5:17-21) For anyone to say that God only loves those who obey Him is to imply that God is somehow impressed with our self- righteousness.

We are all unconditionally loved by God and the objects of His dear love. So we must also love other people unconditionally as God's children.  Certainly, God's wrath is upon the unsaved. John 3:36, ," He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life, and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." Roman's 5:9, " Much more then, being now justified  by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him." However, just because God's wrath abideth upon the wicked does not mean that God does not love them. No Christian parent who is right with God, who  is angry  at their child for doing wrong, would fail to unconditionally love that child the same  People who question the Biblical doctrine of God's unconditional love clearly  reveal their woeful ignorance of God and the Scriptures. Matthew  5:45, " That ye may be the  children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and  on the unjust," If God didn't  unconditionally love wicked  sinners, the ground would  immediately open and swallow them all into Hell beneath. The Bible teaches that evil  and unjust men enjoy the same blessings of the sun and rain as do the righteous.

As I conclude I want to talk about :" THE DEPTHS OF THE LOVE OF GOD." The world doesn't  understand the love of God. I know of a certain Christian friend  of mine whose wife divorced him. His lawyer told him to  "move on." A year passed and the man hadn't heard from his wife. He cried often. His other friends said, "You are a fool if you take her back." Others heartlessly  said,  "Isn't great to be single?" He was grieved and missed his wife. He wanted her to come home, but she said " I don't love you anymore" He prayed and continued to hope for years that perhaps his wife would return, but she didn't. She had cost him his life's retirement in the divorce.  She dragged him into court. She assassinated his good name. She caused him much grief. She abandoned him when his health was poor.

What was the brokenhearted man to do? I personally felt that Christian man's suffering and pain. He had an unconditional love for his wife. Nothing she did to hurt him was able to diminish his love for her. This is the love of God. How many men and women are able to exercise this kind of love and patience? I leave it for you to answer!

The world cannot understand such depth of love. Sadly, most married couples have a 50/50 attitude towards  their relationship. Biblical love must be 100%, even if the other spouse is giving 0%. I know many people are going to react by saying it is not humanly possible, but that is what God wants us to do, unconditionally.

In every case,  when people write in and attempt to justify their divorce  they blame their spouse. In reality, they are basing their divorce  on the failures of their spouse. This is no love at all. The love of God says, " I don't care what you do, or don't do, I love you unconditionally and nothing will ever change that." This is the love of God. Meanwhile, I just want to say, if you can't remember anything else from my previous message and today's message, please remember that God's love is UNCONDITIONAL,  which means that it has absolutely nothing  to do with the person we love.

Thankfully, God doesn't love us for who we are; but because of WHO HE IS. Likewise, we shouldn't love people because of who they are; but because of WHO WE ARE.  Once again let us love one another unconditional. Even at such a time as this, let us continue to practice compassionate love. Love your family, wife, husband, children, extended family members,  friends, fellow believers, neighbours, and all other people, unconditionally!

May God richly bless you all!

BE A DOER, NOT A HEARER ONLY

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer this morning.  I want to share on the application of the word to our daily lives that is meant to change our behaviours and shape our characters.  The word helps us to resolve  offenses and our differences in life. The title  of my message today is: " BE A DOER, NOT A HEARER ONLY"

There are people who use the excuse that they are working at overcoming offence.
But that's  not what the Bible  instructs us to do.
The Bible  says," For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect  law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does." ( James 1:23-25).

A doer of the word is not someone who merely  listens to what the Word says, but rather applies what  he has heard to his life. How do you suppose it will sound if someone said, ," I am working at not lying"? No, if you simple tell the truth, you won't lie! It's not those who are working at not lying who are blessed, but those who speak the truth.

God doesn't accept the idea of " working on it" any more than you would if your spouse said he or she  was " working on" being married. Your spouse would get the slack jerked out of him or her quickly! When someone states that they are" working on it," what they are actually revealing is that they are not yet willing to obey God. Isn't that right?

It's a whole lot easier to justify yourself by saying that you are working on something  than it is to implement the Word of God or admit you' re in sin. Many times you can con people with such statements, but you can't con God because He looks upon the heart. ( Jeremiah 17:9-10, Hebrews 4:13).  There is not one sin that the blood of Jesus cannot eradicate.( 1John 1:7-10, Isaiah 1:18)            His blood is all- powerful.

And as a result, there is no excuse for a Christian to be offended. No one-no matter how heartbreaking, horrific, or desperate the situation- can develop an excuse for being offended  that is acceptable to God.
You may have convinced yourself that your basis for offense is a worthy one, but you will never persuade God. He gave His son to die so that all of humanity  could be forgiven of their shortcomings.

If you have accepted God's forgiveness, then you must be willing to give it to others.
" For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also  forgive  you" ( Matthew 6:14).
There is no permissible excuse for disobeying God. When you stand before Him, and He asks, "Why didn't  you obey My Word?"you cannot come up with an excuse that will satisfy God. You may offer an excuse, but He will reply, " I empowered you with supernatural ability to do all that was written in My Word. All you had to do was make the decision to obey." And the bottom line will be that you simply made poor choices. In the same manner, there is no acceptable excuse for harbouring unforgiveness  because of an offense. Although some one always tries to defend their reason for being  offended by saying, " But you don't know what they did to me, or how many years I have had to put up with it."

However, the Lord didn't exclude anyone when He said, " Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone , forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive  you your trespasses......"(Mark 11:25-26).

So, apparently it doesn't matter what the offense was, you are still required to forgive.
Don't  just listen to the word on forgiveness and let it go with the wind.
Learn to listen and apply the Word to your daily life.

Let the word of God be a mirror and measure of your Christian standard of living.
Remember, harbouring unforgiveness can be a barrier to your breakthrough. Unforgiveness is sin and sins are  a hindrance for answered prayers.( Isaiah 59:1-4).
Release, forgive and forget  your past offenses, in order to worship God freely.

May God bless you richly!

TWO WAYS OF LIFE

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! The title of my message is: "TWO WAYS OF LIFE". In life we always have a choice of how we can lead our lives, but that choice must always be guided by God's ways of living.

We can live as a slave to the law, or as an heir to the promise of grace
The following passage of scripture presents two ways in which you and I can can choose to live: " For it is written that Abraham had  two sons, one by the bondmaid and one by the free woman. But whereas the child of the slave woman was born according to the flesh and had an ordinary birth,  the son of the free woman was born in fulfilment of the promise. Now all this is an allegory; these ( two women) represent two covenants. One covenant  originated from Mount Sinai ( where the Law was given) and bears ( children destined) for slavery; this is Hagar.( Galatians 4:22:24)

We know from studying Genesis chapters 11 through 21 that Sarah  represents the other covenant mentioned in these verses. She is a woman who was supposed to wait on the promise of God and receive the child born in a supernatural way.

In the Bible also we see how at some point Sarah grew tired of waiting for God's promise, and tried to make things happen herself, and ended up in a mess.
But God was faithful to keep His promise, and she found out that when we wait on God and trust Him, He will bring to pass what we are believing for according to His will- no matter how long it takes.

We can live by trying to take care of ourselves, or we can live by trusting God. We can try to make things happen, or we can believe God to make things happen. The choice is ours. If you want the pressure taken off, then choose to stop trying to make everything happen yourself, in your own timing, in your own way, according to your own plan. Instead, throw your life wide open to God and pray: " Lord, whatever I may desire in life, if You don't want me to have it, I don't want it. If you do want me to have it, I ask You for it and believe You will give it  to me in Your time, in Your way, according to Your divine plan. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen!"

In my own life, I have adopted a new policy. It's called the hands- off policy. Every day I pray: "Lord, I am not doing anything unless You show me what You want me to do".
I believe if you ask God for this kind of guidance, you will see marvelous things happen in your life.

Instead of compromising our faith in God, we must learn to trust God and wait for His promises in our lives. Sarah despite having been assured by God  together with her husband, she chose to do things her own way instead of God's way, by waiting for her promise of a special child. ( Genesis 15:6, Genesis 18:12-14, Genesis 21:6, Romans 4:14-25).

Remember, we are talking about two ways of life, which are to live according to God's way and will or according to your own will.
Choose the way you want to follow. But as a born again child of God, I urge you to trust God and live according to His will and way.

Whatever you have been believing God for, let Him fulfill it in due season, dont take short cuts, by compromising your faith. ( Isaiah 40:31, Genesis 28:15, 2 Corinthians1:20, Hebrews10:35-39).
Wait upon the Lord you will receive your Isaac, and not Ishmael!

May God richly bless you all!

PREPARE FOR THE COMING OF CHRIST

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer.
The theme of the message is:" PREPARE FOR THE COMING OF CHRIST."
Before I go deep into today's scripture readings, I want to explain a bit about the word "Prepare"
What is to prepare?:
 - It is to put in proper condition or readiness.
-To provide with what is necessary; outfit.
  - To put things or oneself in readiness; get ready.
  -Make ready before hand.
 -Get ready.

My scripture readings are: Psalm 138, Malachi 4:1-6, 1 Corinthians4:1-5, John 1:19-25                      Going back to the above scriptures, starting with Malachi 4:1-6, before the events narrated in this scripture the Lord had warned children of Israel about their iniquities and disobedience to God.

The preceding chapters 3 of Malachi, made reference to the one who is to be sent earlier as a Messenger to prepare for  the Lord's coming.
The Bible is referring to John the Baptist and also Elijah who were some of the prophets of God, who warned the children of Israel to obey God's commandments and and brace themselves for the coming of the Messiah's judgement day.( Malachi 3:1-7)

The Lord even said the children of Israel had a long history of ignoring God's warnings.                 Even today we have many people who ignore God's word when it is being preached. But the Lord says, I am God I change not and I will do that which I promise to do to his people. The Bible says, " Look I am sending my messenger on ahead to clear the way for me. Suddenly, out of the blue, the leader you have been looking for will enter his Temple-yes, the messenger of the covenant, the one you have been waiting for, Look! " He is on his way!" A message from the mouth of God -of -the Angel - Armies."  ( Malachi 3:1 MSG)

In Malachi 4:1-6, the Bible says "Count on it: The day is coming, raging like forest fire, All the arrogant people who do evil things will be burned up like stove wood, burned to a crisp, nothing left but scorched earth and ash- a black day. But for you, sunrise! The sun of righteousness with energy, like.........freshly and frolicking. And you will be nothing but ashes under your feet on that Day". God- of the Angel Armies says so. .........If they refuse, I will come and put the land under a curse".

Generally here we are being warned as Christians to be prepared  for the judgement day that will certainly come on all of us. What we have to do is to live right and obey God's word. We are in a time of grace and we have been given a choice to repent or perish. But judging by the behaviour and actions of many other people, it looks like they are living careless lives, ignorant of the fact that life is a journey and we are all going somewhere, after mother earth's passing life.

Therefore there is an urgent need for repentance in preparation for the coming of Christ Jesus. You either choose life or death. The choice is yours before it's too late. ( Deuteronomy 30:15-19). Jesus is the life giver and Saviour of our lives. He is coming back soon. :( Soon and very soon we are going to see the Lord!)" Those that fear the Lord and obey his commandments are recorded in the Book of life( Malachi 3:16-17, Luke 10:20).

The Bible says, " And I saw a great white throne and one sitting on it...........And the books were opened, including the book of life. And the dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books." ( Revelation 20:11-15). Remember your good works shall always follow you. Verse 15 says, "

Anyone whose name  was not found recorded in the Book of life was thrown into the lake of fire". Hell is real people of God! What we should do is to stay connected to the source of life, "JESUS CHRIST" who is the true  vine and life giver who comes to save mankind from destruction and burning in Hell.( John15:1-8). The spiritual blessings brought by Jesus are summed up in two, righteousness"( 1 Corinthians 1:30) and spiritual " healing" ( Psalms 103:3, Isaiah 57:19).

Those who walk in the dark now, may take comfort in the certainty that they shall walk thereafter in eternal light( Isaiah 50:10). The scripture refers to the wings of the Lord. In his wings - implying the winged swiftness with which he shall appear( "Suddenly" , Malachi 3 :1)  In he Old Testament, church was the moon, reflecting His light( Revelation 12:1, Songs 6:10,  Matthew 13:43). And ye shall dread down the wicked solving the difficult that the wicked often prosper. Their prosperity and adversity of godly shall soon be reversed ( Malachi 3:15)

Many times people admire non - believers when they prosper, not knowing that it is temporary( Psalm 73). Here we must know that John the Baptist was Elijah in spirit( Luke 1:16-17), but not the literal Elijah; whence, when asked " Art thou Elias?" ( John 1:21) he answered, " I am not, Art thou that prophet? No!   John knew by inspiration that he did not exhaustively fulfil all that is included in this prophecy, that there is a further fulfilment( Malachi 3:1). As Moses in Malachi 4:4 represents the law, so Elijah represents the prophets:( Matthew 17:3, Matthew 17:11). Revelation 11:16 reflects to the same witnesses of the transfiguration day( Revelation 11:2-12)

One thing I love with John is that he did not put himself in Jesus's shoes. He was humble. John knew his position was to prepare  the way for the Lord Jesus. In preparation for the Lord's coming let us not be fake   Christians, but be real. If you want to see and experience God's reality in your life be real yourself. Make the Word of God the standard for your life. ( Psalm 119:11, Joshua 1:8).

We have seen many times that when people are preparing for an event or a visit by important people, they take time to clean and do everything possible within their means, in order to impress the visitor or guests. What more the Great Guest, who is King of kings "JESUS CHRIST" .

Don't be like the five  foolish virgins referred to in Matthew 25:1-13, who were found wanting on the arrival of the bridegroom.
Matthew 25: 13 says, " Watch therefore, for ye know  neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." Stay alert as you wait upon the Lord's coming. I have also noticed that when preparing and putting things to order, other things are temporarily removed from the sight of people and then after the visitors have gone, they once again put back their things to their original positions. This is the same with many of us who impress in church or when there are visitors,  but still carry their character and behaviour behind the scenes. ( Remember that, " Character is what you are in the dark." ( R. Modley).

Beware of such people, who are pretenders. Remember God sees in the dark and everything is naked before Him. ( Hebrews 4:12-13). Don't miss your blessings at the last hour when the Lord's grace locates you.

Finally let us prepare our hearts  and everything within us in preparation for the coming of the Messiah.
If you are there and have not received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, take a bold step and repent and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
Find a Bible teaching Church of your Choice and attend.
If you  need any further assistance, feel free to  contact me, I will gladly assist accordingly.

May I also hasten to mention that you could be in Church just as a religious believer, and you are even preaching to other people and serving in the house of the Lord, but you don't have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus.

It is possible to have such people like the five foolish virgin girls, referred to in the scripture above, who lacked something in their spiritual lives, and you may miss it at the coming of the Lord.
Some Bible Scholars may also recall some great men of God who repented after having an encounter with the Lord,  although they had been preaching the gospel for many years, like John Wesley and many others. It is not about your position in church, but your personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, which matters.

Don't be shy, make a bold decision after reading this message and reflect on your personal relationship with the Lord and repent and your life will never be the same again.

As I conclude, you may also be in need of prayers, counselling, deliverance and healing, you can be gladly assisted, as the spirit leads.
Whatever it is, come to the Lord in prayer, He shall meet all your needs. ( Psalm 37:4-5, Philippians 4:19, Matthew 11:28-30).

" PREPARE FOR THE COMING OF CHRIST!"

May God Richly bless you all!

WHAT IS PRAYER?

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the message of prayer encouragement at such a time as this. The title of my message is: " WHAT IS PRAYER?".
Prayer is  a reverent petition made to God. It is an act of communion with God such as in devotion, confession, praise, or thanksgiving. Prayer is talking with God. Jesus  always encouraged His disciples to pray without ceasing and not to faint.( Luke 18:1)  Prayer is a weapon of spiritual warfare.

The Bible in 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 says, " The world is unprincipled. It's dog- eat- dog out there! The world doesn't fight fair. But we don't live or fight our battles that way - never have and never will.  The tools of our trade aren't for marketing or manipulation, but they are for demolishing that entire massively corrupt culture. We use our  powerful God - tools for  smashing warped  philosophies,  tearing down barriers erected against  the truth of God, fitting every loose thought and emotion and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ. Our  tools are ready at hand for clearing the ground of every obstruction and building lives of obedience into maturity." ( MSG)

So in other words the weapons of our warfare for prayer are not carnal, but mighty to the pulling down of strongholds and any arguments fighting against the will of God.
This means that nothing can stand or remain before the power of prayer. Prayer demolishes and destroys all evil altars and demonic forces of darkness, militating against yout life. Prayer restores lost hope and confidence.

Prayer penetrates invisible places to unlock and release breakthroughs in our lives. Prayer is the key that  unlocks known and unknown doors, both in the physical and spiritual spheres. The scripture also says, " When a believing person prays, great things happen. (James 5:16 NCV)

Who are these believing persons? It is you and me who are being referred to in this scripture. You can pray for your family, children, marriage, relationship, business, health, neighbors, communities, country and all leadership, in Government and Churches. ( 1 Timothy 2:1-2, Mark 16:15-18).

Once again prayer is our direct line with heaven. Prayer is a communication process that allows us to talk to God!
He wants us to communicate with Him, like a person- to - person phone call. Cell phones and other devices have become a necessity to some people in today's society.
We have Bluetooth devices, blackberries, and talking computers! These are means of communication that allow two or more people to interact, discuss, and respond to one another.

To many people, prayer seems complicated, but it is simply talking to God.
Praying is like talking to your best friend! It's easy to talk to someone when you know they love you unconditionally! This is the same with God.

The Bible also says, " Don't quit in hard times; pray all the harder. ( Romans 12:12). Let us emulate Jesus's habit of prayer, who always prayed all the time.( Luke 1:35-37)
When I stop praying, the " coincidences" stop happening!( William Temple).

Use this lockdown period to launch deeper into prayer for a "Big Catch". ( Luke 5:4).
Whatever you desire or need, use your knees productively, you will not regret or be disappointed. Pray without ceasing! ( 1 Thessalonians 5:17).
Nothing is bigger than praye! PRAY!  DON'T PLAY!

May God richly bless you all!

CHRIST OCCUPIES THE HONOURABLE POSITION

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer this morning! The Bible says, " Who is he that condemmeth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercesdion for us.( Romans 8:34 KJV) The title of my message is: " CHRIST OCCUPIES THE HONOURABLE POSITION."

After Christ's resurrection He ascended to heaven to occupy His honourable position in heaven on the right hand of God,  as well as in the heart's of all that have received Him as the Lord and Saviour of their lives. He who was once despised  and rejected of men, now occupies the honourable position of a beloved and  honoured Son. The right hand of God is a place  of majesty and favour. Our Lord Jesus is His people's representative.

When He died for us we had rest; when He rose again for us, we had liberty; when He sat down at His Father's hand, we had favour, and honour, and dignity. The raising and elevation of Christ is the elevation, the acceptance, and enshrinement, the glorifying of all His people, for He is their head and representative. This sitting at the right hand of God, then, is to be viewed as the acceptance of the person of the Surety, the reception of the Representative, and therefore, the acceptance of our souls. Who can condemn the men who are in Jesus at the right hand of God? ( Romans 8:1).

The right hand is the place of power. Christ at the right hand of God has all power in heaven and in earth. ( Ephesians 2:6) Who shall fight against the people who have such power vested in their Captain, Jeus Christ? ( Ephesians3:20) O my soul, what can destroy you if Omnipotence is your helper. ( Romans 8:31, Psalm 118:5-11)

If Jesus is your prevailing King, and has trodden your enemies under His feet, if sin, death, and hell are vanquished by Him, and you are represented in Him, by no possibility can you be destroyed. No you are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus.
( Romans 8:35-39).

As I conclude, I want to say therefore allow Jesus Christ to occupy a honourable place in your heart, family, marriage, relationship, business and in the whole body of Christ. Because Christ is now King of all kings, nothing then must bother and worry you as a born again Child of the most high God. Even at such a time as this, He remains your provider in all things that pertain to life and godliness.( 2 Peter 1:3-4, Genesis 22:14)

You now have all power in you to operate in a higher dimension in life. Fear not! Worry not! Doubt not! Your Destiny helper and Game Changer Jesus Christ, is in control of your situation.

May God richly bless you all!

IT IS WELL AND IT SHALL BE WELL WITH YOU

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!
In life there are certain times when you may not be able to add or subtract, due to some challenges. You find yourself between the rock and the mountain, the fire and the the lion. In that kind of situation you will not be able to escape, save for you to run to the higher Rock Jesus Christ, for a solution.

The Bible says, " Hear my cry, O God, attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. ( Psalm 61:1) Know where to go when you are in trouble. The Bible also says, " Say ye to the righteous , that it shall be well with him"( Isaiah 3:10)

The title of my message is: "IT IS WELL  AND IT SHALL BE WELL YOU"
It is well with the righteous Always. If the scripture had said, " Say ye to the righteous, that it is well with him in his prosperity," we could have been thankful for so great a boon, for prosperity in an hour of peril, and it is a gift from heaven to be secured from its snares or if it had been written, "It is well with him when under persecution," we must have been thankful for so sustaining  assurance, for persecution is hard to bear; but when no time is mentioned, all time is included. God's "shalls" must be understood always in their largest sense.

From the beginning of the year to the end of the year, from the first gathering of evening shadows until the day-  star shines, in all conditions and under all circumstances, it shall be well with the righteous. It is so well with him that we could not imagine it to be better, for he is well fed, he feeds upon the flesh and blood of Jesus; he is well clothed, he wears the imputed righteousness of Christ; he is well housed, he dwells in God; he is well married, his soul is knit in bonds of marriage union to Christ; he is well provided for, for the Lord is his Shepherd; he is well endowed, for heaven is his inheritance. ( Psalm 23:1-6,  John 15:4-8, Colossians 1:19, Zechariah 4:6-7).

Indeed it is well with the righteous - well upon divine authority; the mouth of God speaks the comforting assurance, even at such a time as this. My beloved brethren, if God declares that all is  well, ten thousand devils may declare it  to be ill, but we laugh them all to scorn, because when God has spoken and declared, it is done. Remember, Christ said, "It is finished....." therefore it is now well with the righteous.

Blessed be God for a faith which enables us to believe God when the creatures( devils) contradict Him. It is well with you as the righteous one of God, even if you don't see it now, let God's word establish you strong and believe it on divine authority more confidently as if your eyes have already seen it.( 1 Corinthians 2:9, 2 Corinthians 4:17-18, Psalm 37:23-25)

The Bible also says, " The LORD will not suffer the soul of the rigteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked. "( Proverbs 10:3) Remember whom God blesses is blessed indeed, and what His lip declares is truth most sure and steadfast. Once again, I want to conclude by saying tell everything that is bothering or  worrying you,  that it is well with you.

You may not be feeling it but believe it and speak,  it shall be established in the name of Jesus.
The scripture says, " We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak" ( 2 Corinthians 4:13).

It is well and it shall be well with you. It is well with your marriage, relationships, finances, work, business, health and your studies, in the name of Jesus. Just believe and declare it right now in the name of Jesus.

May God richly bless you all

KNOW YOUR SHEEP TO BE KNOWN BY THE SHEEP

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! Once again today I feel an  urge and push to share on the subject of the Good shepherd and His sheep.
The title of message is: " KNOW YOUR SHEEP TO BE KNOWN BY THE SHEEP"

The Bible says," I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.................My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.( John 10:14-27)                                       It is important for you to always know your sheep as a shepherd, and the sheep must also know you. Become a good shepherd by being known  by your sheep.

The confidence of the sheep is built up the more they know their shepherd. Knowing Christ more, helps you build your faith and confidence in the Lord. The Bible also says, " Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. .........." ( James 4:8). You cannot pastor a congregation by being a mystical figure. The sheep want to participate in your victories, defeats, sorrows and joys.

All these help them to realize that you are genuine and that your words can be trusted. Become a good shepherd by knowing the Father. Becoming intimate with the heavenly Father is key to developing spiritual power. The presence of God rests on the person who abides in the secret place of the Most High. ( Psalm 91:1-2) Shepherding is a spiritual job and closeness to the Father is essential. Be a prayerful and Spirit filled  shepherd.  Pray without ceasing! ( Ephesians 6:18, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, Luke 18:1)

The scripture also says" As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep." ( John 10:15). Become a good shepherd by being known by the Father. Being open and frank with God is part of the spiritual development necessary to be a good  shepherd. God knows everything, but you must come to Him and bare your soul before Him.( Hebrews 4:16) In so doing, you will draw close to the presence of God. Being close to the presence of God makes you a good shepherd.

Become a good shepherd by having other sheep in other folds.
Part of the natural development of a shepherd's work is to develop sheep in other folds.
Having congregations in different locations is an important development in your shepherding profile. Do not be afraid to establish branches. Your members will move away, anyway.

You might as well develop congregations in different locations so that when they travel they will have somewhere to worship.
The scripture says, " And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; there shall be one fold, and one shepherd."( John 10:16).

Become a good shepherd by bringing in other sheep through evangelism. Being a good shepherd means you must do the work of an evangelist. This is exactly what Paul admonished Timothy to do when he left him in charge of the flock.  " But watch  thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry." ( 2 Timothy 4:5)  Become a good shepherd by pulling together your sheep from other folds.

This speaks of regularly gathering your congregations in different places into one large fold so that you speak to them and so that they  can hear your voice. ( these gatherings are commonly known as( " Big Sundays" or " Combined services")    It is important that the different congregations which are linked to you are assembled frequently to listen to your voice. You must fight those who oppose these gatherings because it is the will of God to gather the sheep from other folds into one singular purpose of them hearing yours.

Become a good shepherd by being the one shepherd in charge of the fold. It is important for the sheep to recognize one leader. As it is also important for all Christian believers to recognize one Leader,  who is our Savior, Jesus Christ. There cannot be two captains on one ship. Do not allow ambiguity to develop in your leadership. Let everyone be sure about who the leader is.
Allowing the sheep to recognize one shepherd in one fold only serves to bind us together in unity and to fight confusion in the body.

Become a good shepherd by taking up your life again after you have laid it down. A good shepherd must not only know how to sacrifice but also how to take up the benefits due him as the shepherd of the sheep. This is exemplified by Christ who lay down His life, but also took it again.( John 3:16-21) These two  activities are completely opposite to each other, but there is a time and a season for each of them. ( Ecleasiastes 3:1)  The Bible says, " Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again." ( John 10:17).

Become a good shepherd by giving up your life freely  and of your own initiative. A good shepherd needs no one to tell him when and how to make the necessary sacrifices.  Sacrifice is necessary all the time, but sacrifice looses its power when you are forced to sacrifice by circumstances.  Sometimes, people decide to work for the Lord only after a serious illnesss strikes them. Before this illness, they were unwilling to make certain sacrifices,  but when they sensed the inevitable, they seemed  very willing to do anything for the Lord.  But we all know that being forced to do something is different from  doing it willingly. Serving the Lord at gunpoint, is obviously diferent from serving Him willingly. At gunpoint , you will run, jump and smile but we all know that your smiles are fake? Decide to lay down your life freely and willingly.

Don't also take up the shepherd's role as employment, but as a sacrifice for God's calling in His vineyard. Do it when you are strong. Do it when you are well! God is not a man. He is not deceived by things that are not real! Finally, John 10:18 says, " No man taketh it from me, but lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. "

Become a good shepherd by recognizing the power you have to affect lives.
When you are a good shepherd, God will entrust you with much authority.
This authority gives you the power to bring life or bring death to many lives.
Use the power wisely.

God will judge you for everything He gives you. Be a good shepherd who knows his sheep and who is also known by the sheep. Jesus Christ the Good Samaritan and chief shepherd is always ready to take care of all your needs and concerns.

Psalm 23:1 says, " The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want. " A good shepherd always ensures that His flock does not lack anything.   Whatever it is,  come to the Lord in prayer He shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. ( Philippians 4:19, Matthew 11:28-30.

Be a good shepherd, who is loving and caring all the time!  The Holy spirit just gave this apostolic teaching revelation to teach about shepherding. I hope it will empower us as a body of Christ.

May God richly bless you all!

BECOME A GOOD SHEPHERD

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!
The title of my message is: " BECOME A GOOD SHEPHERD"  Shepherding is a call and not a career. Therefore it requires total commitment, love, patience and compassion.

The Bible says, " But ye that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the  sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth,  because he is an hireling,  and careth not for the sheep." ( John 10:12-13)

Become a good shepherd by being the opposite of a hireling. It takes almost nothing for a hireling to abandon his sheep. But a real shepherd will not easily leave the sheep. He gives his entire life to shepherding, because he is not just a hired hand. Become a good shepherd by acting as the owner of the sheep. Because if you own something, you will not neglect or abandon it. Having an owernership mentality about anything transforms it.

This is the reason for the worlwide privatization of many government owned entities. Anything that is not owned by specific people is not cared for or managed properly. This is why you find that even some people don't manage well or properly look after houses and buildings which they are renting. God wants every shepherd to treat the sheep with the love and care of an owner and not with the mind of a heartless employee.

Become a good shepherd by noticing when the sheep are in danger. Someone who does not love you will not even notice when you are in mortal danger. Even in a family set up, the Father and mother, must notice the condition of their children. In the same way the husband must notice their wife if she is not well and or worried. Same applies to the wife, she must also notice that her husband today there is something which is not right. Let us love and take care of one another.

Most people just think about themselves, which is a selfish mentality, that is not good. You would be surprised to know that people care more about their headache than your cancer. A good shepherd notices when their sheep are in distress. Don't just be a shepherd who wants the sheep's milk and wool, but you must take care of the sheep well, so that it may continue to give you more milk and meat. Even little things are picked up by a good shepherd. Unfortunately a hireling does not even see when the sheep are dying.

Become a good shepherd by staying with the sheep in times of trouble. A shepherd must be there when the trouble is at its peak. The shepherd must be found standing by the grave, in the hospital, at the operating theatre, by the bedside or wherever the trouble has struck. Bad shepherds visit the sheep to get money from them, when they are rich. But good shepherds are there in times of trouble.

Become a good shepherd by knowing your sheep intimately.
In this discourse about the good shepherd, Jesus emphasizes how the shepherd knows the sheep.
This knowledge becomes more intimate and more detailed as life goes on. Pastors often  realize that they never really knew their sheep, when they discover amazing truths about their sheep after years of pastoring them. You will discover that intimate detailed knowledge of each and every sheep is a must for real shepherding work.

Everyone is a shepherd in their on right and domain. You can be a father or mother, you must play your own role of shepherding your family.
In whatever capacity you may be in, play your role of being a good shepherd and  steward.
Don't abandon your sheep. Don't abandon your family and your employees. Be a good employer, who has compassion towards his workers. Be a good father who is loving, caring and SUPPORTIVE.  Be a good mother who is kind and welcoming, as well as approachable and loving all the time.

Let the mind that was in Christ be in you, who was prepared to die for the sake of saving you and me.
That kind of love is surely amazing and awesome. ( John 3:16, Philippians 2:5-11, Lamentations 3:31-33, Deuteronomy 31:6, Hebrews 13:5-6, John 13:34-35, Colossians 3:16-17, Ezekiel 34:1-23).

Ezekiel 34:3-4 says, " Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed, but ye feed not the flock.
The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have you ruled them."

Once again become a good shepherd, with a good heart, love, kindness, patience, compassion, longsuffering and  mercy. ( Galatians 5:22-23). Shepherd, feed,  love and heal the sheep's wounds .

May God richly bless you all!

HUMILITY BRINGS ELEVATION AND HONOUR

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!
The Bible says, " The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, and before honour is humility." ( Proverbs 15:33). The title of my message is:"HUMILITY BRINGS ELEVATION AND HONOUR."

Humiliation of soul always brings a positive blessing with it. If we empty our hearts of self, God will fill them with His love. He who desires close communion with Christ should remember the word of the Lord, " To this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of  a contrite spirit, and trembleth at My word." ( Isaiah 66:2 KJV)  Stoop if you would climb to heaven. Don't we say about Jesus that, " He descended that He might ascend" ? so must you. ( Ephesians 4:8-10 KJV)

You must grow downwards, so that you may grow upwards. Humility and quietness, silently attract blessings and favour before man and God. God will not deny a blessing to a thoroughly humbled spirit. The Bible also says, " Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up." ( James 4:10 KJV) . This again is an assurance for divine elevation by God, for those who fear the Lord and are always humble. Even our Lord Jesus was exalted and given a name which is above every name, due to His humility and love. ( Philippians 2:5-11).

Proverbs 22:4 also says, " By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life."  Matthew 5:3 says, "Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven," with all its riches  and treasures. The whole exchequer of God shall be made over by deed of gift to the soul which is humble enough to be able to receive it without growing proud because of it. God blesses us all up to the full measure and extremity of what it is safe for Him to do. If you do not get a blessing, it is because it is not safe for you to have one.

If our heavenly Father were to let your unhumbled spirit win a victory in His holy war, you would pilfer the crown for yourself, and meeting with a fresh enemy you would fall victim; so that you are kept low for your own safety. At times our blessings and breakthroughs are deliberately delayed, so that we may mature first before receiving our promise. James 4:2 -4 says, " Ye lust, and have not; ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain............, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. " Other people ask for blessings for the wrong reasons and God may protect you until you mature or deal with your weaknesses in humility and then receive a blessing after undergoing some form of training and pruning. There are some who prematurely got blessed and died early or got involved in scandals and serious problems, because there were not yet mature to receive blessings. When a man is sincerely humble, and never ventures to touch so much as a grain of the praise, there is scarcely any limit to what God will do for him.

Humility makes us ready to be blessed by God of all grace, and fits us to deal efficiently with our fellow men. True humility is a flower which will adorn any garden. This is a sauce with which you may season every dish of life, and you will find an improvement in every case. Whether it is prayer or praise, whether it may be work or suffering, the genuine salt of humility cannot be used in eccess.

Once again remember that " Humility  Brings Elevation and Honour." I therefore urge us all to remain humble, im order to attract God's true favour and blessings. Remember, pride and arrogance can destroy a person. Imitate and emulate Christ's humility, in order to find favour before man and God. ( Luke 2:52, Exodus 12:35-36)

May God richly bless you all!

CONFIRMATION OF JESUS'S RESURRECTION

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word  for your meditation and prayer, at such a time as this. The title of my message is: " CONFIRMATION OF JESUS'S RESURRECTION"

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the strength and hope for the Christian faith.
It is also the foundation to the Christian faith, and yet, oftentimes, we only give it real thought around the Easter celebration. But the resurrection of Jesus is so important that Paul writes, " If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins" ( 1 Corinthians 15:17). In the same chapter im verse 19, he says " If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are all people most to be pitied" I just want to mention five truths about the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

1)JESUS HAD A BODILY RESUSCITATION.
When Jesus was raised from the dead, he didn't leave his body behind.
It was only his clothes which remained in the tomb( grave). In fact, after his resurrection his scars remained on his body( John 20:27), he ate fish with the disciples. ( John 20:12), he physically( bodily) ascended to heaven( Acts 1:9), and will physically come again here on eatth( 1 Thessalonians 4:16).

The son of God will always have a bodily existence. The fact that Jesus still has a body testifies to the dignity of the human body -both the ones that we have and the ones we will have after our resurrection. Matthew Lee Anderson writes, " The resurrection of the body means that to be human with God is to be with him not as disembodied souls, but as people with noses, faces, arms, and legs that are similar to those we currently have" ( Earthen Vessels 2 Corinthians 5:1-10).          2) JESUS

HAD A JUSTIFYING RESURRECTION.
Perhaps the clearest instance of Paul connecting Jesus's resurrection with his justification is obscurred in most English translations. Paul writes in 1 Timothy 3:16, " Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness:  He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels,  proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory." The word that is translated" declared righteous" or justfied" is elsewhere in the New Testament.

But if Jesus was perfect, how could he be justified, since justification implies guilt(  see Romans 4:5)? The answer lies in Jesus's death and resurrection. Resurrection is nothing  less than the removal of the verdict of condemnation and the effective affirmation of his righteousness.             3) JESUS

HAD A TRINITARIAN RESURRECTION
The pattern in the New Testament is to speak of God the Father as the one who does the raising,  Jesus as one who is being raised, and the Spirit as the means of the Father used to raise Jesus.
This pattern is seen in Romans 8:11: " If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you,  he who raised Christ Jesus will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells  in you." Here we see not only that God the Father raises Jesus through the Holy Spirit, but our resurrection will be parallel to the resurrection of Jesus - God the Father will raise us through the Spirit.

4) JESUS HAD A FISRTFRUITS RESURRECTION OF OURS TO COME.                               Paul describes Jesus's resurrection as " the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep" ( 1 Corinthians 15:20) Firstfruits is an agricultural metaphor that points to the initial quality of the harvest. Paul is saying here, the resurrection of Christ and of believers cannot be seprated. Why? Because to extend the metaphor as Paul surely intends, Christ's resurrection is the 'Firstfruits' of the resurrection 'harvest' that includes the resurrection of believers. This thought is reinforced in ( 1 Corinthians 15:23): ' Each  in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his second coming those who belong to Christ"" ( This is By faith, not By Sight 2 Corinthians 5:7)

5) IN JESUS, BELIEVERS ARE ALREADY SPIRITUALLY RESURRECTED.
The resurrection is not only a future event for believers. Those who believe in Christ have already been raised to life with him. Paul writes, " If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above,  where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God"( Colossians 3:1). Christians are people who have already been raised with Christ. God has done a work in each believer, a work of nothing less than resurrection proportions, that will not be undone. The resurrection is an already but not' yet reality for the Christian because of our union with Christ. Jesus's resurrection means that those who have faith  in him have been raised from the dead because they are in Christ, and yet we still await the full experience of the resurrection to come( Romans 8:22-23).

Let me also emphasize that we live, walk, believe and hope in the resurrection power.
Therefore as Christ is resurrecting today, I declare that all areas of your llfe which were dead be resurrected in the name of Jesus.
The Bible says, "He carrried all our infirmities, and bore our sickness and diseases, and by His stripes we are healed....."

Whatever is giving you sleepless nights right now, may it come to an end today in the name of Jesus. It can be high blood pressure, sugar diabetes, cancer, HIV, menstrual pains, migraine headache, pneumonia, fever, tuberculosis, Covid-19, backache, headache,  swelling legs, heart disease, palpitations, financial challenges, and any other sicknesses and diseases, may you be set free right now, in the name of Jesus.

I want you to hold every part of your body which is painful as you declare healing by the stripes of Jesus, through His resurrection power, believe and receive your healing and deliverance right now,  in the name of Jesus.

I declare Jesus Christ's resurrection power to begin to flow in your body, right now. All dead cells and organs, be resurrected and restored once again in the name of Jesus Christ. ( 1 Peter 2:24, Isaiah 53:3-5, Jeremiah 8:22, Exodus 15:26, Jeremiah 30:17, Jeremiah 17:14, Jeremiah 32:27

Finally I want to reiterate the fact that you have every reason to believe in Jesus Christ,  because He is the only one who conquered death and is alive today.
It can be your marriage, relationship, business, friendship or project, just commit it to the Lord and let it rise up again by Christ's resurrection power. ( Joel 2:25-27, John 11:25-44, Proverbs 16:3, Hebrews 4:16).

Once again, believe and receive your healing and deliverance in the name of Jesus-Amen!

May God richly bless you all!

A MOMENT OF SELF- REFLECTION AND SELF- EXAMINATION

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!
The title of my message is: "A  MOMENT OF SELF- REFLECTION AND SELF-EXAMINATION"

In this moment of self- reflection and self-examination, we focus on the suffering of Christ Jesus on the cross.
But before He was betrayed and hanged on the cross He had to go into solitary confinement as He sought God's face in prayer and consecration, in Gethsemane a place of no return and self denial. ( Matthew 26:36-48)

Even at such a time as this, we need to separate ourselves in our homes and diligently seek the Lord in prayer and word meditation.( Ephesians6:18)
As C. H. SPURGEON SAYS, 'GETHSEMANE SUPPLIES THE MEDICINE FOR THE ILLS WHICH FOLLOWED UPON THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT OF EDEN.'  WHEN THE SAVIOUR, HAVING EATEN THE PASSOVER AND INSTITUTED THE HOLY SUPPER, WENT ACROSS THE BROOK KEDRON TO GETHSEMANE, NOT ONLY WAS HE GOING TO A SPOT WHERE HE LOVED TO GO FOR PRAYER AND REST, BUT ALSO TO A PLACE WHERE HIS ENEMIES COULD EASILY FIND HIM.

JOHN TELLS US, 'Judas........also knew the place'(John18:2-6).
Christ met his captors at the entrance of the garden.
How easily he could have escaped arrest! But in the spirit of voluntary self-surrender he met his enemies.

It was here that Judas, in the company of soldiers, gave the prearranged signal, whereby they might identify Jesus -an ostentatious kiss of apparent affection.
It was an act of black treason. That kiss was a stab in the heart, a dastardly act of disloyalty on the part of one who had been treated as a trusted friend.  'A treasurer of the church of the day! " He who ate my bread has lifted his heel against me" ( John 13:18).

Never trust a man, but trust God who does not change. Remove temporary people from the basket of your apples(friends)! ( Jeremiah 17:5-10, Malachi 3:6)
Let us be honest and  kind believers and not hypocrites.

Lord help us, even at such a time as this,  to build true relationships and friendships with our family members and other believers, in true and genuine love. ( John 13:34-35, 1 Peter 2:1-2, Joshua 1:5-8, 1 John 5:10-15, John 4:23-24, Hebrews 11:6).

 May God richly bless all!

REMAIN OBEDIENT IN THE MIDST OF SUFFERING

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!
The title of my message is:"REMAIN OBEDIENT IN THE MIDST OF SUFFERING" The Bible says, " Though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered." ( Hebrews 5:8)

It is very rare to remain obedient and faithful in the midst of challenges and suffering in our lives, as Christians.
We are told in the above scripture  that the Captain of our salvation was made perfect through suffering, therefore we who are sinful, and who are far from being perfect, must not wonder if we are called  to pass through  suffering too.

Shall the head be crowned with thorns, and shall the other members of the body be rocked upon the dainty lap of ease? Must Christ pass through  seas of His own blood to win the crown,  and are we to walk to heaven dryshold in silver slippers?
No, our Master's experience teaches us that suffering is necessary,  and the true- born again child of God must not, would not, escape it if he might.

But there is one very comforting thought in the fact of Christ's "being made perfect through suffering" -it is, that  He can have complete sympathy with us. " He is not an high priest that cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities" In this sympathy  of Christ we find a sustaining power. One of the early martyrs said,  "I can bear it all, for Jesus suffered, and He suffers in me now; He sympathizes with me, and this makes me strong." ( Acts 7:55-60) Stephen remained strong even as they stoned him to death full of the Holy Ghost.

Believer, lay hold of this thought in all times of agony. Let the thought of Jesus strengthen you as you follow in His steps. Find a sweet support in His sympathy; and remember that, to suffer is an honourable thing- to suffer for Christ is glory.( Philippians 2:5-11, Philippians 3:6-10)

The apostles  rejoiced that they were counted  worthy  to do this. Just so far as the Lord shall give us grace to suffer for Christ, to suffer with Christ, just so far does  He honour us. The jewels of a Christian are his afflictions. The regalia of the kings whom God hath anointed  are their troubles, their sorrows, and  their griefs. Let us not, therefore, shun being honoured. Let us not turn aside from being exalted. Griefs exalt us, and troubles lift us up.  " If we suffer, we shall also reign with Him." (1 Peter 4:13, 1 Peter 5:1, Romans 8:18, Collossians 1:24-27).

Suffering for Christ's sake brings promotion and elevation in life. Even at such a time  as this, what we are experiencing as individuals, families, country and the world over, shall soon come to pass and joy will come in the morning.(Psalm 30:5). Your suffering and challenges are a ladder for divine breakthrough and promotion.

Don't give up or surrender, your afflictions cannot be compared to the glory and joy that  is to manifest in due season.  ( 2 Corinthians 4:16-18).
This situation which we are facing as a Nation and the world, is a phase which will be allowed to pass soon, because He who started it will complete in the name of Jesus Christ-Amen.

" REMAIN OBEDIENT IN THE MIDST OF SUFFERING" All this will come to pass and it shall be over in the name of Jesus Christ-Amen!

Remember, it is not over, until He says it's over!
Jesus says, "It is finished.....It is over! It is done! All  is over at the Cross!

May God richly bless

HAVE WE NO TEARS FOR REVIVAL AND REPENTANCE AT SUCH A TIME AS THIS

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!
The title of my message is: "HAVE WE NO TEARS FOR REVIVAL AND REPENTANCE AT SUCH A TIME AS THIS?"

The Bible says, " Even now, turn back your heart and rededicate yourselves to Me; Show me your  repentance by fasting, weeping,  and mourning.  Rip the wickedness out of your hearts; don't just tear your clothing.  Now return to the Eternal,  your True God.
You already know He is gracious and compassionate. He does not anger easily and maintains faithful love. He is willing to relent and not harm you. Who knows? Perhaps He will turn and relieve you of this threat, and leave behind some blessing as He goes -Maybe enough grain and wine to offer to the Eternal, your True God?" ( Joel 2:12-14 VOICE).

Is the current prevailing situation not similar to what was obtaining in the scripture above, which warrantied a change in people's hearts through genuine repentance and rededication to God.
There is a lesson which must be learnt and understood by mankind about corona virus, at such a time as this, which must cause people to have sincere tears for weeping and repentance.

This would not have just come at such a time as this, when people are preparing for the critical moment on the Christian calendar, the  Easter revival. It means this year, God has brought a change in terms of worship during the Easter period throughout the whole world, where we shall see individuals and families confined in private and family closets for praise and worship, while seeking God's face. ( Psalm 91:1-2, 2 Chronicles 7:14-15).

Indeed this must open our hearts for true circumcision and repentance.
The scripture in Joel 2:13 says that we must rip the wickedness out of our hearts; don't just tear our clothing.
So in other words Jesus must find free repentant space in our hearts, as the Lord remembers us at such a time as this.

If you truly reflect and imagine that all other things we considered in life to be important, such as employment, external entertainment, flights, restaurants, hotels, businesses, formal and informal sectors, banking halls and trade markets have all come to a stand still, due to the Covid- 19 ( corona virus).

There is a serious lesson which we must all learn from this prevailing situation, which must cause us to all have a change of mind and worship God in truth and in spirit.(John 4:24)
This is  a warning and  confirmation that all  other things are vanity; save for fearing God and worshipping Him alone. ( Deuteronomy 29:29, Ecclesiastes 12:13-14).  " The last and final word is this: Fear God. Do what he tells you. And that is it. Eventually God will bring everything that we do out into the open and judge it according to its hidden intent, whether it's good or evil." ( Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 MSG)

Lord, teach us to pray and worship you genuinely.
In order for prayer to become a reality, things that can be shaken must be shaken so that what cannot be shaken may remain".( Hebrews12:27)

Brethren in Christ, once again this situation also shows that God is God, and He can do whatever he wants any time and no one can stop him, because he is supreme and above all things.
Let me also mention that as we rend our hearts for true worship, God longs to see your heart transformed into a house of prayer. Why? Because there is so much he longs to do for you and through you.

Therefore as you begin to pray, a divine progression will take place within you. Let me explain what I mean.
Jesus became angry when he found money changers and buyers conducting business as usual in the House of the Lord. He had to drive everyone forcefully out of the temple.
Before the amazed onlookers could react, Jesus was back, this time to overthrow the tables and seats of the money-changers and dove -sellers.

Jesus said, " My house will be called a house of prayer, " but you are making it a "den of robbers" ( Matthew 21:12-16) . At the same time the blind and the lame came to him in the temple and he healed them there amid the laughter and happy hossanas of children.

In the above scripture verses, First Jesus cleansed the temple, causing it to become a house of purity.( v 12)
Then he pronounced that it would be called a house of prayer( v 13).
Next the temple was transformed into a house  of power as the blind and lame came to him and he healed them there( v14).
And finally, the temple became a house of perfect praise( v16).

Shouldn't this same progression take place in the church  and in the individual believer today?  Certainly we pray that after the end of this corona- virus, there must be a serious change and great revival in people's lives, as God gives us another chance to live and worship him in truth and in spirit. ( John 4:24).

The scripture also says," Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you?( 1 Corinthians 3:16).
You and I are part of the church that is in the habitation of God through the Spirit( Ephesians 2:20-22).

But sadly, our temples, too, are often polluted by grasping greed, maneuvering motives and selfish sins.
It is a mockery for believers to talk one way and live another.
God will not bless an impure church.
His church will not become a house of power and perfected praise, until it allows the Holy Spirit to purify its sanctimonious soul  and transform it into a house of prayer.

This is what must happen after this phase of lockdown, separation and isolation, due to covid-19( corona - virus), as we expect many people to " Have tears For Revival and Repentance.
Never has the world at large had a common goal and unity of purpose towards such a cause like the Covid-19(corona virus).

There has been rumours of war and other devastating catastrophes, but nothing of this kind of unity has ever happened before.
I persuade you brethren in Christ, that you must now all present your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to God, as you start on a new note, while the Lord is  giving you another chance to live.

Let us all utilize this opportunity to renew our minds with the word, in order to do the will of God "(Romans 12:1-2).

HAVE YOU NO TEARS FOR REVIVAL AND REPENTANCE AT SUCH A TIME AS THIS?"

May God richly bless you!
