HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR THE LORD, WHERE WOULD I BE?

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer.

The tittle of my message is: "HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR THE LORD, WHERE WOULD I BE?"

 

Certainly if the Lord was not on my side, I would not be what I am today. We are what we are by God's grace. (  Corinthians 15:10, Psalm 118:5-10). You are alive today because God allowed it to happen and has given you another chance to live. Remember, the spirit of every living thing is in the hands of the Lord. ( Job 12:10, Acts 17:28). The Bible says, "In him we live, and move and have our being..."

 

The NET Bible in  Psalm 94:17-23 says,"If the Lord had not helped me, I would have laid down in the silence of death. If I say, “My foot is slipping,” your loyal love, O Lord, supports me. When worries threaten to overwhelm me, your soothing touch makes me happy. Cruel rulers are not your allies, those who make oppressive laws. They conspire against the blameless, and condemn to death the innocent. But the Lord will protect me, and my God will shelter me. He will pay them back for their sin. He will destroy them because of their evil; the Lord our God will destroy them."

 

You went through painful and devastating situations ,but the Lord fought for you, so that you would not perish or die.

He has fought many battles and wars for you. You were not attacked by sicknesses and diseases, not because you are clever or smart, but because God saved your life. 

 

We are all sustained and saved by God's grace. Whatever, you are today is because of the Lord.

God's unfailing love always locates those that fear and reverence him.

 

He  grants you the desires of your hearts. He protects you from all evil forces of darkness.( Psalm 124:1-8, Proverbs 22:4, Proverbs 9:10, Psalm 37:4-5).

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Long life and good health is rewarded to the humble and God fearing people.
Just stop, reflect back and see what the Lord has done for you over the past years.
Don't forget to thank him for his mercies which endure forever!

FASTING THAT PLEASES GOD AND NOT PEOPLE

 

 

 

 

 

 

GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!  JUST A WORD OF ADVICE AT A TIME SUCH AS THIS, WHEN PEOPLE ARE PLANNING FOR THE YEAR'S PROGRAMS AND RESOLUTIONS, THAT YOUR FASTING SHOULD  BE SEEN ONLY BY GOD.

 

WHAT I AM TRYING TO SAY IS THAT OUR PRAYER AND FASTING SHOULD ONLY BE BETWEEN YOU AND GOD. IT MUST BE AIMED AT PLEASING GOD AND NOT MEN. WE DON'T DO IT TO FULFILL RELIGIOUS FORMALITIES AND PROGRAMMES. ONCE YOUR FASTING IS FOR THE SAKE OF PLEASING YOUR RELIGIOUS LEADERS AND FRIENDS, IT CEASES TO BE SPIRITUAL,  BUT RELIGIOUS AND HUMANLY MOTIVATED.

 

THE TITLE OF MY MESSAGE IS: "FASTING THAT PLEASES GOD AND NOT PEOPLE"  THE BIBLE SAYS, " MOREOVER, WHEN YOU FAST, DO NOT BE LIKE THE HYPOCRITES, WITH A SAD COUNTENANCE. FOR THEY DISFIGURE THEIR FACES THAT THEY MAY APPEAR TO MEN TO BE FASTING. ASSUREDLY, I SAY TO YOU, THEY HAVE THEIR REWARD. BUT YOU, WHEN YOU FAST, ANOINT YOUR HEAD AND WASH YOUR FACE, SO THAT YOU DO NOT APPEAR TO MEN TO BE FASTING, BUT TO YOUR FATHER WHO IS IN THE SECRET PLACE; AND YOUR FATHER WHO SEES IN SECRET WILL REWARD YOU OPENLY." ( MATTHEW 6:16-18)

 

THEREFORE SECRETLY AND PERSONALLY PRAY AND ASK GOD FOR THE WAY FOWARD.

REMEMBER, GOD IS STILL SAYING SOMETHING!

 

HEAR WHAT GOD SAYS ABOUT YOUR FASTING FIRST, BEFORE ENGAGING ON THIS SPIRITUAL MARATHON (JOURNEY)!

I HAVE NOTICED THAT PEOPLE ARE VERY FAITHFUL, WHEN IT COMES TO HUMAN PROGRAMMES, BUT REMAIN UNFAITHFUL TO GOD'S WILL AND COMMANDMENTS.

 

GOD MAY INSTRUCT YOU TO FAST ON YOUR OWN AND YOU WON'T LISTEN, BUT WILL FOLLOW THE CROWD WHEN IT COMES TO CHURCH PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES. 

 

ISAIAH  58:1-10 SPEAKS ABOUT THE FASTING THAT PLEASES GOD.

PART OF WHAT THE SCRIPTURE IN MATTHEW 6:16-18 HAS SAID IS ALSO SUPPORTED BY ISAIAH AND IN ADDITION VERSE 10 OF ISAIAH 58 SAYS, " IF YOU EXTEND YOUR SOUL TO THE HUNGRY AND SATISFY THE AFFLICTED SOUL, THEN YOUR LIGHT SHALL DAWN IN THE DARKNESS, AND YOUR DARKNESS SHALL BE AS THE NOONDAY".

 

THIS MEANS THAT FASTING MUST IMPACT SOCIETY AND SAVE HUMAN SOULS. YOUR FAITH IN PRAYER AND FASTING, MUST ALSO BE IN ACTION AS YOU EXTEND THE HAND  OF LOVE AND BLESSINGS TO THE LESS PRVILEGED IN SOCIETY,  AT SUCH A TIME AS THIS. REMEMBER,  FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD. ( JAMES 2:14-17)

 

FASTING IS NOT ABOUT THE NUMBER OF DAYS, LIKE  10 DAYS, 21 DAYS, 40 DAYS OR 41 DAYS.

IT IS ABOUT FULFILLING THE WILL AND VOICE OF GOD, AS THE SPIRIT LEADS. ( ROMANS 8:14, GALATIANS 5:16-18, JOHN 14:26, JOHN 15:26, JOHN 16:13).

 

DURING YOUR PRAYER AND FASTING, REMEMBER TO READ THE BIBLE AND MEDITATE, IN ORDER TO GAIN AND RECEICE REVELATION FROM GOD, WHICH WILL GUIDE YOUR SPIRITUAL LIFE AS A CHRISTIAN. 

 

STRIVE TO LISTEN AND HEAR GOD'S VOICE, SO THAT YOU MAY NOT LABOUR IN VAIN AND PRAY AMISS! 

 MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN CAPTURED BY RELIGIOUS DICTATES, PROTOCOLS  AND FORMALITIES.

 

COME OUT FROM THE COCOON AND WAKE UP YOU SLEEPER!

MOVE WITH THE CLOUD AND NOT THE CROWD.

 

MOVE WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND NO WIND AND FAMIALIAR SPIRITS. 

REDEEM THE TIMES, BECAUSE THE DAYS ARE EVIL. DON'T BUILD FALSE EMPIRES AND FALSE RELIGIONS, FOLLOW CHRIST AND LIVE FOR A PURPOSE. DISCERN, WEIGH AND SENSE THE SPIRITS OF TRUTHS AND ERROR TO FULFIL GOD'S WILL AND PURPOSE AND NOT MEN'S PROGRAMMES. ( MATTHEW 7:21-23, 1 JOHN 4:1-2, 1 THESSALONIANS 5:17, LUKE 18:1, MARK 11:22-26, EPHESIANS 5:14-17).

 

WE  PRAY THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT MAY LEAD YOU AS YOU EMBARK ON THIS SPIRITUAL WARFARE AND BATTLE, THROUGH PRAYER AND FASTING. (2 CORINTHIANS 10:3-6)

 

FOLLOW GOD'S WILL AND NOT YOUR ON WAYS AND PEOPLE'S WISHES AND PROGRAMMES.

MAINTAIN A GOOD HEART

 

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!

The title of my message is: " MAINTAIN A GOOD HEART"

 

The Bible says, "Above all else, guard your heart, for it is  the wellspring of life." ( Proverbs 4:23)  Beautiful Relations need a Good Heart and Unbreakable Trust.

A Good Heart, benevolent Feelings and a Balanced Mind, lie as the Foundation of strong Character - capable of standing firm in the world of  Daily Work, temptation and trial, enabling us to bear the wear and tear of actual Life.

 

Furthermore, the heart is the engine that stores and propels all matters of human survival!

Important Secrets and matters of confidentiality are kept in one's heart and only released at the right time for a specific purpose, to the right people.

 

Those with leaking hearts cannot be entrusted with such issues of life and high profile matters, as they can damage and destroy other people's reputation and image.

If you are a man or woman of God you have to maintain a good loving heart, which does not release personal information of believers to the public, like Medical Doctors, Lawyers, Counsellors.

 

The Bible also says  "' The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve" (Jeremiah 17:9-10)

 

Your actions and deeds towards other people are influenced by the condition of your heart and mind. The Bible says, we are rewarded according to our conduct and daily deeds.

 

Remember, God is watching over our daily living and deeds, because He sees every detail concerning our lives.

So maintain a good heart and acceptable standard of life.

 

Do not conform to the standards of this world. (Hebrews 4:13, Romans 12:2, John 13:34-35, 1 John 4:7-11)

Live to please God and not man. Learn to keep and maintain secrets and other issues of life.

Don't be a leaking container! (Jeremiah 2:13)

"MAINTAIN A GOOD HEART"  which does not leak and release secret issues of life.

TRUSTING THE EVER PRESENT HELPER

The title of my message is: "TRUSTING THE EVER PRESENT HELPER"

 

The Living Bible in Psalm 121:1-8 says,  "Shall I look to the mountain gods for help? No! My help is from Jehovah who made the mountains! And the heavens too! He will never let me stumble, slip, or fall. For he is always watching, never sleeping. Jehovah himself is caring for you! He is your defender. He protects you day and night. He keeps you from all evil and preserves your life. He keeps his eye upon you as you come and go and always guards you."

 

The Lord is an ever present helper and sustainer of our lives! 

One who knows and sees our future.  ( Psalm 46:1-3). 

THEREFORE KEEP YOUR FOCUS ON GOD, KNOWING THAT HE IS THE SOURCE, THE ONE WHO HOLDS ALL YOUR NEEDS. ( 2 Peter 1:3-4, Hebrews 12:2, John 15:5).

 

You must always  look unto the Lord Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.

The Alpha and Omega!  The Beginning and the End.  He will never let you down.

He remains faithful, to the faithful! He is our mighty defender and protector all the time. ( Deuteronomy 32:4)

 

He is our destiny helper and game changer! Call unto him right now, He will answer you and reward you according to your faithfulness to him.  (Jeremiah 33:3, Galatians 6:9-10)

Remember, without faith it is impossible to please God.

 

If you believe Him, you will receive his benefits, in the name of Jesus-Amen! (Hebrews 11:6, Matthew 6:33)

GOOD THINGS COME FROM THE LORD

The title of my message is: "GOOD THINGS COME FROM THE LORD"

 

The Bible says, "Every good and  perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." 

God always has good plans for our lives as his children.

He always wants us to achieve our expected goals and destiny.

 

You may not have so far achieved the desires and plans of your life, but delay is not denial, in due season it shall come to pass.  ( Jeremiah 29:11, Psalm 37:4-5, Psalm 30:5)

Therefore I pray that the Lord should release unto you a double portion of every good things of life in the name of Jesus!

 

May every  good gift be offered to you in the name of Jesus.

You shall not lack anything, because riches and honour, belong to our Father in heaven.

 

Remember, the earth and its fullness belongs to God, and therefore all that is in it, is ours, because we are joint heirs together with Christ Jesus!  ( 1 Chronicles 29:12, Psalm 24:1-5, PHILLIPIANS 4:19, Galatians 4:7).

 

Whatever, you have not yet achieved before the end of this year, may it be granted to you right now in the name of Jesus.

You will surely testify the goodness of the Lord, in the land of the living! ( Psalm 27:13-14)

DON'T BE A FALSE WITNESS

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your prayer and meditation.                  The NET Bible in Proverbs 24:28-29 says,
"Do not be a witness against your neighbor without cause, and do not deceive with your words. Do not say, “I will do to him just as he has done to me; I will pay him back according to what he has done.” 

 

The tilte of my message is: "DON'T BE A FALSE WITNESS" There are many people who have been jailed and convicted, due to false witnesses.

Hatred, jealous, vengeance  and false witness, are enemies of justice and peace.

 

But the Bible encourages all of us not to repay evil with evil. Love your neighbors, fellow believers, friends and relatives, widows and orphans, in order to fulfil your true Christian faith.

Don't do harm to other people, or revenge,  as what goes around comes around.

Tomorrow it will be you, in that predicament.

 

Remember, the old adage says "History repeats itself"  ( Romans 12:14-17, John 3:16, James 1:27, Exodus 22:22-24, John 13:34-35)

Hypocrisy overshadows many Christians, since we have more pretenders than true worshipers and believers.

 

The World has more loving people than Christians. Christians hate each other more than non believers. Those in the world can forgive each other, than those who claim to be Christians. So how can we win souls for Christ, if we do not demonstrate and show that love among ourselves, for the world to see and love our Jesus and our God, because " GOD" is Love! Pretenders! Pretenders! Is what we have among believers.

 

Don't be a false witness! Don't revenge! Don't hate! Don't hurt other believers! Love and forgive! ( Isaiah 43:35, 1 John 4:7-11, 1 Peter 2:1-2, 1 Corinthians 13:1-13)  

 

Don't build barriers and barricades for your payers, by harbouring grudges and offences against each other! (Isaiah 59:1-4).

BORN OF SPIRIT AND FLESH

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ!  Here is a word of assurance and hope.

The NET Bible in Ecclesiastes 3:14 says, "I also know that whatever God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it, and nothing taken away from it. God has made it this way, so that men will fear him."

 

The immutability and unchangeableness of God's  actions and purposes awaken reverential fear, holy love, and worship in all who are born of the Spirit.

The scripture also says, " That which is born of flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." ( JOHN 3:6).

 

God created and made things which endure and remain forever.

The things he created cannot be substituted or replaced by human wisdom and ability.

He made all that which is in heaven, earth and underworld to last forever.

 

Therefore when God begins to address your current situation, the solution will last forever.

The scripture above also says that which is born of Spirit is spirit and that which is born of flesh is flesh.

 

There are things that manifest in our lives whose origin is spiritual.

Such things or issues need to be addressed by the Spirit of God ( Holy Spirit).

There are also sicknesses and diseases which originate from the spirit world and need to be addressed by the Holy Spirit.

 

All demonic spirits and evil spirits originate from the Dark world whose origin and source is the devil.

However, when darkness meets the light of Jesus all powers of darkness bow down and disappear. That which originates from the flesh is also addressed physically.

 

Remember, the Holy spirit was part of Trinity at creation and also made you at creation. So the Holy Spirit can address your issues of life permanently through the power that works inside you by Christ Jesus (Ephesians 3:20, Philippians 2:8-10, Romans 8:5-14, Ephesians 6:11-18).

 

You were born of flesh and spirit and therefore your issues of life can be addressed by the Spirit of God in Christ Jesus! ( 2 Corinthians 5:17-21, 1 John 5:10-12) 

 

May all your invisible challenges and issues of life  be addressed spiritually, in the name of Jesus.
