Wiping out good memories with bitter memories.

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus! Just some food for thought for you! The title of the message is: " WIPING OUT GOOD MEMORIES WITH BITTER MEMORIES"

 

Let me mention that, we swallow the bitter medicines quickly and keep sweet candies and chocolates in our mouth for longer time.

But in life, we forget the good times quickly and keep bitter memories in our hearts for ever! However, it must not be like that, because even the Bible says our works shall always follow us. (Revelations 20:12)

 

At some stage you may be the people's hero, but if you just make a small mistake, the same people who held you in high esteem, will start to condemn and reject you. I feel that our good works and deeds must always go before us, than small mistakes we do and later repent and ask for forgiveness. (James 2:14-17, 1 John 1:8-10)Think, forgive and move on in life.

 

Forget about the former bad things and think about the good things you had and have in life ! (Isaih 43:18-19, Ephesians 4:31-32).

Don't stress yourself with the things that vanish and pass in a second.

Focus on Jesus and move on with life.

 

Those who hate you today, will love and need you tomorrow! ( Hebrews 12:2)

DOING THE WILL OF GOD UNLOCKS SUPERNATURAL BLESSINGS

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!

Let us always maintain the mood of prayer by meditating on the word of God.

 

The title of my message is:" DOING THE WILL OF GOD UNLOCKS SUPERNATURAL BLESSINGS"

The Bible says, " ..............but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him." ( John 9:31b).

 

Let us strive to discover the will of God for our lives.

If we do the will of God, He will also meet our will and desires, as well.

 

The scripture above firstly,  states that being a worshiper of God and doing his will are synonymous. Secondly, it reminds us that when we obey the Lord, that He listens to us and to our prayers.

Lastly,  this verse is a wake-up call to everyone about the importance of doing the Lord's will at all times.

 

The Lord wants us to stand mature and fully assured in the will of God. ( 1 Peter 2:15, )

1 John 2:17 says, " And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever."

 

God has an awesome and amazing plan for each of our lives, and he is continually calling us to follow Him and do his will. ( 1 John 5:14). The Bible also says,   "This is the confidence that we have that if we ask anything according to His will he hears and answers our prayers.

 

Answered prayers are a result of doing and living in the will of God.

Therefore, Let us live and stay in the will of God all the time.  Hallelujah!

The will of God is the catalyst and recipe for unlocking supernatural blessings and divine favour. ( Isaiah 45:2-3, 1 Corinthians 2:9).

 

Live, stay, abide, dwell, walk and sleep in the will of God , always!

REAL LIFE IS IN CHRIST JESUS

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! The Bible in 1John 5:11-12 says,  " And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life".

 

The title of my message is: " REAL LIFE IS IN CHRIST JESUS "  It is clear on the above scripture that, real and full life is in Christ Jesus.

Besides Christ, there is no life , but mere existence only.

 

Full and abundant life is in the living Messiah, who came to give us abundant and everlasting eternal life.

We all need the life giving Messiah, who is able to breathe life on every dead situation in our lives. ( John 10:10).

 

One who can resurrect every area of our lives that is hopeless and lifeless, is Jesus Christ the hope of glory. (  Philippians 3:10, Colossians 1:26-27). 

When a person is in Christ, He is a new creation. He is a born again and recreated person of high integrity and power. 

 

You need to be born again and receive Christ as your Lord and Savour, so that you can have everlasting life and live a victorious life in Christ Jesus. ( Romans 10:9-10, 2 Corinthians 5:14-21'). "Seek the Lord's kingdom and it's righteousness and all other things will be added unto you." ( Matthew 6:33). 

 

And you must also seek the Lord with all your heart and shun the world's deceiving  interests and pleasures. ( Isaiah 55:6).

Transform your mind and thoughts everyday, by reading the word of God with revelation and understanding, in order to overcome storms of life and the devil's evil acts. ( Joshua 1:8, Romans 12:1-2, 2Timothy 2:15, Acts 17:11). 

 

Jesus is our healer and deliverer of all infirmities, sicknesses and diseases.  ( Isaiah 53:4-5, 1 Peter 2:24, Exodus 15:26)

He is our redeemer and everlasting Saviour! ( Acts 4:12). 

 

Receive Him and you will be set free right now in the name of Jesus.

He is your destiny Helper and Game Changer. He never fails.

He is the same yesterday, today and forever. ( Hebrews 13:8).

DON'T BE SELFISH

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ!  Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!  I just want to share a message titled:  "DON'T BE SELFISH" I just want to quickly  mention that in life many people always exhibit a selfish spirit.

 

But the scripture says, " Love does not insist on its own way" ( 1 Corinthians  13:5).  The Bible also says, "..............He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal"  ( John 12:23-25).

 

Did you know that selfishness is the greatest single enemy of a happy marriage.  Selfishness is the root of all other sins. When I am at the center of my world, I am out of place and my world is out of balance. The tremors that follow  will not stop until they have destroyed something - my marriage, my job, my sanity.

 

Selfishness is a natural sin. It comes easy. Selfishness is when I pout or sulk when things don't work out my way.

All men are egocentric at the core. The law of man's fallen nature is that he shall strive to make himself the center of the universe.

 

We are driven to seek security by trying to reach self - sufficiency. When Eve sinned in the Garden she believed  that if she would eat the forbidden fruit she would  " be like God knowing good and evil" ( Genesis  3:16).

 

Satan tempts us the same way today through three aspects of self - centeredness.

The Bible in 1 John 2:15-16 says, " Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." ( KJV).

 

The lust of flesh says, " I want it!"  The lust of the eyes says, " It is so pretty! " The pride of life says, " It will make me intelligent!"            

Pride and lust are forms of selfishness. They have always been Satan's most effective tools.

 

Most of the time what we feel and think is right, isn't.

In fact, we often make wise decisions  by determining first what we feel and think is right, and then reversing it.

It is like a man caught in a tide carrying him out to sea. The obvious thing to do is swim hard for shore. The reverse -relax, stay afloat, and let the tide carry you - seems quite illogical.

Regardless of how unreasonable it sounds, it's the best thing to do. By the way even the things of God are illogical and unreasonable at times, but you just have to believe and do as the  word says.

 

The Bible  also says, " We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him " ( NIV). His power enables me to triumph over desires of the flesh.

I am no longer enslaved; I am free, alive and victorious.  As I commit sin, I become a slave of Satan.

 

In John 8:34 says, " Jesus replied, " I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin ( NIV). And you know slaves don't have rights;  they cannot free themselves.  Like flies caught  on sticky paper, they will die unless an outsider freed them. The only outsider capable of saving me from sin is Jesus Christ.

 

When I accept his blood to cover my sins, I am free.  I am still a slave, but now I am a slave to Christ. You say, " I don't want to be a slave to anybody!" Do you realize there are only two masters - Satan and Christ. And since no one can serve two masters, you must choose one. ( Matthew 6:24). 

 

The concept of absolute freedom is a satanic trick, Satan allows us to think we are "absolutely free" but we are slaves to self. 

Families  and marriages are happier when their members serve the right master.

To be a husband or wife according to God's plan means servant hood.

Selfishness is never satisfied. The more it gets, the more it wants.

 

King Solomon began his reign as a man of God, full of wisdom and splendour.

Unfortunately, he watered down his faithfulness to God with self - serving allegiances:many wives and concubines, gold, and riches- much  of which came from heavy taxation of his people.

 

Toward the end of his life Solomon looked back on his accumulated wealth  and said: " Meaningless!  Meaningless! " says the Teacher. " Utterly meaningless!  Everything is meaningless.  " What does man gain from all his labor  at which he toils under the sun?  ( Ecclesiastes 1:2-3 NIV). 

 

He had quenched every physical appetite, but it was in vain.  His Father, King David allowed his lust for a woman to lead him to adultery. 

His cover-up tactics didn't work, so he killed her innocent husband ( 2 Samuel 11).

 

David later repented of this sin that was ever before in ( Psalm 51).

But the effect of his sin spread to his children and the whole nation of Israel. 

Selfishness and lust can affect many other people's lives, including your entire generation. Selfishness is very destructive and retrogressive.

Many people possess a selfish spirit and need to be set free.

 

Repent today from your selfish spirit and be delivered in the name of Jesus- Amen!

HAVING FAITH IN GOD

 

 

 

 

We greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! It is my humble pleasure to share the word of life with you family of God. I want to share about faith. First I want to talk about: " THE GOD - KIND OF FAITH!"

 

The Bible says, " And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have  faith in God. For verily I say unto you, whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart,but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith " ( Mark 11:22). 

 

Jesus spoke these words as a way of encouragement to His disciples. These are some the most profound words voiced by the Master. A good marginal reference Bible shows that Jesus actually said, " Have faith of God." In other words, " Have the God - kind of faith." These words from the lips of the Master reveal to us that there are different kinds of faith. But the disciples were counselled to have the God - kind of faith. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 11:1 that " Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

 

I would like to define faith as the evidence of unseen realities. Faith gives you the reason to affirm that what you hoped for is yours, before you see it with your physical eyes. It is the proof of the existence of something that is not tangible to the physical senses. Faith is not in the realm of the senses; it transcends the realm of reasoning and the mind. It is a spiritual force, an attribute of the human spirit.

 

That is why I define faith as the response of the human spirit to the Word of God. Faith is not an irrational leap in the dark, but a leap on God"s Word. It is believing what God's Word has said concerning anything and acting that way, regardless of any contrary evidence around you. So it means whatever you may be believing God for, you can have it in the name of Jesus.

 

What is it that which is worrying you right now? The Word of God has assured us that you can ask anything  and you will have it, by faith. Is it your health, marriage, employment,     or business, claim it by fath in the name of Jesus and you will have it. ( Hebrews 11:6).

 

You need the " God - kind of faith" to claim and receive your blessings in the name of Jesus. ( 1 John 5:14-15). Just believe God"s word, and you will succeed and prosper in life.( Joshua 1:8, 2 Chronicles 20:20).  Faith produces tangible substances. Having faith in God, is trusting God. ( Proverbs 3:5-6).

 

Secondly, there are:" TWO KINDS OF FAITH!"  In a general sense, there are two kinds of faith. First, there is " the God -kind of faith" as revealed in Mark 11:22-23, which I mentioned in my previous message. Then there is " the human kind of faith."  The human - kind of faith is based on knowledge or information obtained from the senses.

 

The type of faith calls real only those things that can be seen or touched physically. It doesn't produce any result;  it gives you nothing. It is not true faith, because faith is the evidence of things not seen or perceived by the senses. A good illustration of someone who operated in this kind of faith was Thomas,  one of Jesus's disciples. When he heard that the Master had risen from the dead, he said, "Except I see.....I will not believe!" ( John 20:25). Shortly afterwards, when Jesus showed up, He rebuked him saying, " be not FAITHLESS, but believing ......." ( John 20:27).

 

In other words, Thomas was actually faithless! So those who say seeing is believing are faithless according to the Scriptures. The human- kind of faith is not faith at all. It is zero faith. I like to call it " the Thomas- kind of faith." Jesus went on to declare to Thomas, " Blessed are they that have not seen and yet have believed " ( John 20:29).

 

The blessed person is the one who believes before seeing.   Having faith in God is to believe what the word of God says it can do in your life and you accept it by faith. ( Romans 4:17). We need Abraham the Father of faith's kind of faith, in order to be able to believe and wait upon the Lord to perform what He promises in His word. ( Genesis 12:1-6, Jeremiah 1:12, Isaiah 40:31). Human- kind of faith does not produce results, but the God - kind of faith helps you to achieve and accomplish the impossible in life. ( Mark 11:22-24, Matthew 19:26). Just believe and don't doubt, because there is nothing too hard for God. ( Jeremiah 32:17,27).

 

Thirdly I want to urge you to:" GROW YOUR FAITH!" The Bible shows us that " faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" ( Romans 10:17). The more of God's Word you store in your heart, the bigger your faith becomes. The less of God's Word you receive in your spirit, the less faith you will be able to express when you are faced with challenges. ( Psalm 34:6, Matthew 12:34-37, Collosians 3:16-17).

 

There is no shortcut to growing your faith, feeding on God's Word is the only sure way. Hence, it is important that you cultivate the habit of consistently listening to, studying, and meditating on the Word of God ( 2 Timothy 2:15, Joshua 1:8).

 

If you are having problems in your health, or you are in a situation that seems hopeless, get to the Word! Become a student of the Word, diligently search and study the scriptures that apply to your peculiar situation. ( Acts 17:11). The Bible shows us in Hosea 4:6 that many of God's children are destroyed and brought down because of lack of knowledge of God's Word. Therefore inundate your spirit and bombard your mind with God's Word. Your faith will soar and you will be better equipped to unleash it against any obstacle and contrary circumstance in your life. ( Isaiah 54:17). 

 

In 1 Timothy 4:15, the Bible says, " Meditate on these things, give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all." Keep meditating on God's Word until it takes charge of your mind, such that all you think and know is what the Word says. Do it until you become fully persuaded that nothing and no one can stop you from enjoying God's best for you. ( Romans 12:1-2).

 

The Bible tells us that Abraham meditated on God's promise so much until he became " fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able to perform " Romans (4:21). Abraham became fully persuaded  ( convinced), because he kept his thoughts fixed on God's promise;  he refused to consider all other contrary thoughts.

 

As you keep feeding your spirit with God's Word, your faith will grow and cause you to stand strong in the face of life's greatest challenges. Finally once again I encourage you to "Grow Your Faith" all the time by feedibg your spirit with the Word ( Bread of life). ( Matthew 4:4, John 6:35).  Whatever situation or challenge you may be facing right now, declare the word of God against any negativity and obstacle, in the name of Jesus. ( Job 22:28-29).  You can overcome trials,  temptations and other opposing forces by the word of God. ( Matthew 4:4-14)  Make the word of God the standard for your life in order to "Grow Your Faith!

 

Lastly, I want to say: "YOU HAVE FAITH!" When you were born again, you received the measure of faith. The Bible says in Romans 12:3, " ......according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith." This means that every believer received the same measure of faith at salvation. However, that deposit of faith is not enough for everything;  God expects you to grow it.

 

It is your responsibility to grow your faith strong. In all epistles, which are actually the revelation of the new creation, the Holy Spirit never expressly intructs the Christian to have faith in God. The reason is simple: to the Christian, faith is a lifestyle, for " the just shall live by faith" ( Hebrews 10:38, Romans 1:17).

 

It is the New Testament principle for the believer. The believer is never told to have faith in God, because our very life is by faith. In other words, we already have the measure of the God-kind of faith. So do not hesitate to exercise your faith in God in all circumstances of life. Be bold and declare the word of God by faith all things are possible if you believe.

 

You have a measure of faith in you. Exercise that faith to claim your blessings and breakrhrough in the name of Jesus!  ( Matthew 19:26, Mark 9:23). Remember," Without faith it is impossible to please God......."( Hebrews 11:6).

DEATH AND LIFE ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE

 

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your evening meditation and prayer! The title of my message is: "DEATH AND LIFE ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE!"

 

The  Amplified Bible in Proverbs 18:21 says,   " Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words." You hear a person saying, " This is what I have between me and poverty!" What it simply means is that you are replacing what you had with poverty. You are saying between you and what you have, there is poverty remaining.

 

But if you say, " This is what is left between me and plenty". You replace what you had with plenty. You are declaring a transfer of substance to replace emptiness in your life. You will be replacing emptiness with spiritual realty! You replace lack with availability.

 

Remember, death and life are in the power of the tongue. You become what you say.

Words have the power of transfer! Words have the power of establishment.

Words have the power to build or destroy.

Words have the power to cause things to become.

Words have the power to release authority and response!

Words have the power to create and manifest things.

 

God created the heavens and earth by the power of the tongue. ( Genesis 1:1-7)

You need to be careful about how you respond or speak! What you say may affect  your future. Many people have destroyed themselves by the words of their mouth. Some habitual sayings and quotes can manifest into negative consequences! Watch what you say or speak always! It may bring pain and regret later. 

 

But some words may also create positive realities in life.( Ephesians 3:20)
The Amplified Bible in 1 Kings 17:10-16 also says. " So he set out and went to Zarephath, and when he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks [for firewood]. He called out to her and said, “Please bring me a little water in a jar, so that I may drink.” As she was going to get it, he called to her and said, “Please bring me a piece of bread in your hand.” But she said, “As the Lord your God lives, I have no bread, only a handful of flour in the bowl and a little oil in the jar. See, I am gathering a few sticks so that I may go in and bake it for me and my son, that we may eat it [as our last meal] and die.” Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said. Just make me a little bread from it first and bring it out to me, and afterward you may make one for yourself and for your son. For this is what the Lord God of Israel says: ‘The bowl of flour shall not be exhausted nor shall the jar of oil be empty until the day that the Lord sends rain [again] on the face of the earth.’” She went and did as Elijah said. And she and he and her household ate for many days. The bowl of flour was not exhausted nor did the jar of oil become empty, in accordance the word of the Lord which He spoke through Elijah."

 

This  woman had declared defeat, death and hopelessness to the man of God. However, she survived and was rescued by prophet Elijah.

When you obey God's voice and word, you prosper and succeed in life. { Joshua 1:8, 2 Timothy 3:16-17}

 

Her OBEDIENCE to the man of God, released and unleashed supernatural provisions and supplies. What you speak becomes! And what you say manifests. What you believe and pronounce comes to pass

 

"DEATH AND LIFE ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE.  Had the woman not responded to prophet Elijah positively, she would have missed her breakthrough and blessings! Obedience is better than sacrifice. ( 1 Samuel 15:22)    Know what to say and not to say!

It can either build or destroy you.

Choose what to say and what to believe, in the name of Jesus-Amen! (James 1:19-22)

FEAR GOD AND RECEIVE WISDOM

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! The title of my short message is: "FEAR GOD AND RECEIVE WISDOM!"

 

 The Voice Job 29:1 The great wisdom of the ages begins with fearing God. It is the evil of the world that clouds our understanding and leads us into foolishness.

 

The scripture also says, " The (reverent) fear of the Lord  ( that is, worshipping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome) is the beginning and the preeminent part of wisdom ( its starting point and its essence), And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding and spiritual insight." ( Proverbs 9:10 AMP).

 

So wisdom starts when you fear and reverence God.

Blessings overflow as well, when you fear God. Long life is granted and guaranteed, when you fear God. 

 

Riches increase when you fear God.

So get it right and make corrections in your life and receive your breakthrough and blessings in the name of Jesus.  (Proverbs 9:11)

 

The word of God also says, " Respecting  ( Fearing)  the Lord ( Proverbs 1:7) and not being proud  ( humility) will bring you wealth,  honor and long life." ( Proverbs 22:4).

Fear God and you will prosper and succeed in life. ( Joshua 1:8). 

 

Because of the fear of the Lord, God will put you where He wants you.......Even if no one thinks you deserve the position.

You deserve better and no one will stop you because God has spoken it. When God says yes, no one can say no!

 

Remember the word says, " God is not a human being, and he will not lie. He is not a human, and he does not change his mind. What he says he will do, he does [ will he not do it?]. What he promises, he makes come true[ will he not fulfil it/make it come true?].He told  [ commanded] me to bless them, so I cannot change the blessing." [Numbers 23:19-20 EXB]

 

You cannot curse what God has blessed and you cannot change what God has approved and blessed.
