GOD GAVE US JESUS AS A SIGN OF LOVE

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! Once again, I am pleased to share the word of encouragement and hope at such a time as this. The title of my message is: "GOD GAVE US JESUS AS A SIGN OF LOVE" The Living Bible in John 3:16-18 says,
[16]"For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
[17]God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it.
[18]“There is no eternal doom awaiting those who trust him to save them. But those who don’t trust him have already been tried and condemned for not believing in the only Son of God." The scripture above confirms God's highest degree of love towards mankind. He sacrificed His only begotten son to save mankind from perishing because of sin, which is indeed a sign of love towards us all. As we continue to reflect on the significance of Christmas, we are also touched and uplifted by God's amazing love towards us all as His children, at such a time as this. Today it is the boxing day, just make time to exchange gifts with family members, friends and fellow believers. That is another gesture of demonstrating God's love, towards one another, as God's children. But above all, allow Jesus  Christ to renew your faith and hope in the Lord, as He fills your empty self, by His spirit in you. He is the hope of all glory!( Colossians 1:26-27) Let Him change your situation for the better.  As He has been born again in your heart, may He bring joy and comfort to the brokenhearted.(Psalm 34:17-19)  Find peace and joy in the Lord, at such a time as this. Verse 17 of John 3, says" God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it." If you continue to trust God, you will not be disappointed or put to shame.( Psalms 125:1-2, Romans 10:11)
The Amplified Bible in Isaiah 11:1-2 says,
[1]"AND THERE shall come forth a Shoot out of the stock of Jesse [David's father], and a Branch out of his roots shall grow and bear fruit. [Isa. 4:2; Matt. 2:23; Rev. 5:5; 22:16.]
[2]And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him–the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the reverential and obedient fear of the Lord–"  Did you know that  when you receive Jesus Christ  as your Lord and Saviour, you also receive the spirit of wisdom and knowledge that is in the Lord Jesus. And you are also filled with the spirit of obedience and fear of the Lord. ( Proverbs 9:10) Whatever, has been bothering you over the years, may it come to an end in the name of Jesus Christ. Allow Jesus to rule and reign in your in you, and your life will never be the same again. Remember, God's love conquers all things!! ( 1 John 4:7-21) Because God is love, and if the  love of God dwells in you through Christ Jesus, all anger, hatred, hurt, bitterness and unforgiveness, must disappear in the name of Jesus Christ! REMOVE BAD APPLES FROM THE BASKET OF LIFE

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! The Bible says, " Jesus  replied, ' You do not realize now  what I am doing, but later you will understand" ( John 13:7). At times we may do things which other people and relatives may not understand, but later on it will work out for good. " Remember, all things work together for good. (Romans 8:28)  The title of my message is:"REMOVE BAD APPLESFROM THE BASKET OF LIFE" People who add no value in your life should be removed from the basket of your friends. It is better to make a bold decision when it is not too late in life, than regretting in future. Bad apples may cause other apples to be bad as well, so never hesitate to remove them from your basket of friends.Temporary friendship is very easy  to terminate, than a permanent one. Remember, we are about to cross over to the new year and therefore off- load all garbage of barriers which may hinder your success and progress in life. Off load all toxic matter which may contaminate your breakthrough in 2021, and move on with life.
Never put Temporary people in the Permanent place of your Life, and don't be afraid of Removing the Wrong People from the Right Place of your Life. The Bible also says, " Blessed is a man that walketh not in the counsel of ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful..........".( Psalms 1:1-3).  Remove all bad characters in your life, because they may spoil your destiny. Remove all bad habits in your life, because they may affect your faith, and your destiny. If it's your Life then it's your Right. Be Bold to take any Decision concerning your Life. If they call it Pride, tell them it's conforming to the will of God. No matter the Economy of the Jungle, Lions will never eat Grass. Even if Education is Free, a Rat will never go to the same School with a Cat. You cannot go anywhere with Negative people. You cannot go anywhere with people of bad influence in life.  Negative people are like Cars without Fuel and Engines. You can only sit in them, but they will NEVER take you anywhere. Destiny killers will lead you to perishing and destruction. But Destiny helpers like Jesus Christ, lead you to abundant life and success.( John 10:10, Deuteronomy 8:18). You can't Change what you see until you Learn from what you see. Be careful who you Open up to. Don't open up to Gehaz (Gossipers), but you can open up to Elisha! ( Jesus Christ) (2 Kings 4:25-27) Only a few people Care. The rest just Want to have Something to Gossip about. Some people come into your Life like a Dark Storming Night. When the Storm is Over and the Sun Rises, it Becomes a Beautiful Day. Make  Beautiful Days in your Life  by Removing the "Storms" in your Life.
May the Almighty God be with you, guide and  protect you in the hand of your physical and spiritual enemies. Make a bold decision right now not to carry baggage and weevils into the new year, because you will not go anywhere in life, but just sink and rot. Remove, bitterness, unforgiveness, hurt, offenses, jealousy, anger, hatred and pride  from your heart and life. ( Ephesians 4:31-32). Remember, 
Weak people Revenge, Strong people forgive.  Choose to forgive and forget.                 "REMOVE  BAD APPLES FROM YOUR  BASKET OF LIFE!" Live a new, offense free life and as born again person!(2 Corinthians 5:17-21)

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF CHRISTMAS

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer, at such a time as this. The title of my message is:"THE SIGNIFICANCE OF CHRISTMAS" Christmas is celebrated to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, whom we believe as Christians that He is the Son of God. The name ' Christmas' comes from the Mass of Christ  ( or Jesus). A Mass service  ( which is sometimes called Communion or Eucharist) is where Christians remember that Jesus died for us and then came back to life. The Living Bible in Luke 2:5-11 says,
[5]"He took with him Mary, his fiancée, who was obviously pregnant by this time.
[6]And while they were there, the time came for her baby to be born;
[7]and she gave birth to her first child, a son. She wrapped him in a blanket and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the village inn.
[8]That night some shepherds were in the fields outside the village, guarding their flocks of sheep.
[9]Suddenly an angel appeared among them, and the landscape shone bright with the glory of the Lord. They were badly frightened,
[10]but the angel reassured them.
“Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you the most joyful news ever announced, and it is for everyone!
[11]The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born tonight in Bethlehem!" The scripture above confirms the birth of Chist in Bethlehem, who was placed in a manger, a place which was not fit for human habitation, and yet our Lord was placed in such a humiliating place. This signifies that the humility of Christ which he demonstrated during His entire ministry work, started during His birth. Meanwhile, the significance of Christmas is known to men, all over the world. Though it is true that Christmas is celebrated as the day of the Birth of Christ into this world, yet it also symbolizes a very deeply significant truth of the spiritual life. Jesus Christ  is the very personification of Divinity. He was born at a time when ignorance,  superstition, greed, hatred and and hypocrisy prevailed upon the land. Purity was forgotten and morality was neglected. In the midst of these conditions, Christ was born and He worked a transformation in the lives of people. He gave a new and a spiritual turn to the lives of man. There came a change upon the land. People started upon a new way of life. Thus a new era dawned for the world. In that period the seeker has no thought of God or higher spiritual life. He lives a life of lust, anger, greed, deluded attachment, pride and jealousy. If the seeker must enter into a new life of spiritual aspiration, purity and devotion, then the Christ- spirit  must take its birth within his heart.That is the real Christmas when the Divine element begins to express itself in the heart of the man. From then onward, light begins to shine where darkness was before. The above point of deep significance tells that  the spiritual awakening comes to the seeker, who is perfectly humble and  " meek" and "poor in spirit."(Matthew 5:5) The quality of true humility is one of the indispensable fundamentals.Then we find simplicity, holiness and the renunciation of desire for worldly wealth and pride of learning. Thirdly, even as Christ was born unkown to the world and in the obscurity of darkness, even so, the advent of the Christ  -spirit takes place in the inwardness of man when there is total self - effacement and self - abnegation.
The Living Bible in Isaiah 9:6 says,
[6]"For unto us a child is born; unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder. These will be his royal titles: “Wonderful,” “Counselor,” “The Mighty God,” “The Everlasting Father,” “The Prince of Peace.” Finally, as the above scripture  states, we have the Lord of all matters of life and unifier of all mankind. So as we celebrate the Lord's birth, we must reposition our hearts to receice peace and reconciliation, at such a time as this. Allow the Lord to stir your spirit for spiritual renewal and rejuvenation. Celebrate a new birth  and a dawn of a new era in your life, as you remember the significance of Christmas and Jesus Christ's love being shed in your hearts. Give, love, share the Lord's unfailing compassion and love, at such a time as this. A MEDDLING WIFE CAUSES TROUBLE

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! I am delighted to share the word of God at such a time as this! The title of my message is:"A MEDDLING WIFE CAUSES TOUBLE" We all know the story of Abraham and Sarah, when the promised seed didn't come when Sarah expected it to come, she decided to help her husband out. Sarah decided to give Abraham her maidservant, so she could bear Abraham a child. But I want to mention that you cannot assist God, because God is God. Sarah decided she would help the Holy Ghost! Sometimes try to take the place of the Holy Spirit, so to speak, in the lives of their husbands. But God's timing is as important as God's plan. Sometimes when our plan comes to pass, we realize that what we thought we wanted wasn't what we wanted at all! We can't get ahead of God and expect everything to work out. Abraham listened to his wive and produced a child, Ishmael, with Hagar as a result. Hagar and Ishmael made life difficult for Sarah, so Sarah got upset and tried to put the blame on Abraham.  The Living Bible in Genesis 16:1-2,4-6 says,
[1]"But Sarai and Abram had no children. So Sarai took her maid, an Egyptian girl named Hagar,
[2](2-3) and gave her to Abram to be his second wife.
“Since the Lord has given me no children,” Sarai said, “you may sleep with my servant girl, and her children shall be mine.”
And Abram agreed. (This took place ten years after Abram had first arrived in the land of Canaan.)
[4]So he slept with Hagar, and she conceived; and when she realized she was pregnant, she became very proud and arrogant toward her mistress Sarai.
[5]Then Sarai said to Abram, “It’s all your fault. For now this servant girl of mine despises me, though I myself gave her the privilege of being your wife. May the Lord judge you for doing this to me!”
[6]“You have my permission to punish the girl as you see fit,” Abram replied. So Sarai beat her and she ran away."  Abraham told Sarah that the situation was her fault, so she needed to deal with it  herself. Sarah dealt so sharply with Hagar that Hagar fled to the wilderness. Finally, the time came for the promised seed, Isaac, to be born. The Lord came to Abraham and said, "This time next year, a son will be born." Then God changed Abram's name to Abraham, meaning "father of many nations." God also changed Sarai's name to Sarah. After all Abraham had been through from the time he was 75 and first commanded to leave his country, you would think he would rejoice that his son's birth was so close at hand. Yet how did Abraham respond? Abraham started laughing! He thought he was too old to bear a child. Genesis 17:17 says, " Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?"I verse 18, Abraham starts to bargain with God, saying, "Oh, that Ishmael might live before You!" In other words, Abraham was saying, " Just let the blessing come through Ishmael." God responded by saying that He would bless Ishmael and multiply his seed, but that the covenant would be with Isaac, not Ishmael. When Sarah heard the Lord say that she would bear a son, she started laughing too! Sarah probably thought, Abraham's too old to produce a child, and I 'm certainly too old to deliver one! But when it's the plan and will of God, it shall be done even aa the Lord said! And what did He say?  The Amplified Bible in Genesis 18:14 says,
[14]"Is anything too hard or too wonderful for the Lord? At the appointed time, when the season [for her delivery] comes around, I will return to you and Sarah shall have borne a son." [Matt. 19:26.] Is anything too hard for the Lord? No, nothing is too hard for Him.( Jeremiah 32:27, Mark 9:23) As long as we learn to trust Him and rely upon Him, it shall be done for us exactly as He has promised. God is not a man to lie, what He promises comes to pass. ( Numbers 23:19-20)  God never fails!  Whatever, you may be believing God for it shall come to pass in the name of Jesus Christ!

THERE IS POWER IN THE WORD

 

Greetings the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! I am delighted to share the word of encouragement and hope at such a time as this! The title of my message is:"THERE IS POWER IN THE WORD" There is power in the name of Jesus, and there is power in the word of God. When my faith and my determination seem to be wavering, I start quoting the Word, because fear is dispelled by faith. And where does faith come from? " So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." ( Romans 10:17) I quote the Word so I can hear the Word of God. Sometimes you need  to read the Bible out loud. Don't just read it silently; speak it so that your ears can hear you saying it. When King David was greatly distressed,  he encouraged himself in the Lord( 1 Samuel   30:6). When you don't have anyone else to build you up, speak the Word of God and encouragement will come every time. The Message Bible in     Acts 20:32 says,          " Now I'm turning you over to God, our marvelous God whose gracious Word can make you into what he wants you to be and give you everything you could possibly need in this community of holy friends. " The word of God has the power to shape, and build you up to become a strong a powerful Christian.  There have been many times in my life when I didn't feel like I had the victory. At times I have gone to a church service when I didn't feel like going. The cares of life were getting to me, and I didn't feel like seeing one more person. I didn't want to smile again. I was tired of smiling. But every time I felt that way, someone in the service would unknowingly minister to me and my situation. Sometimes it was the worship songs that were sung. They would minister to my heart and build me up in faith. Many times as the church elders made the announcements, the Spirit of God came upon them and they ministered words meant just for me. I am sure there are many other people out there, who sometimes feel the same like me. When you encounter that feeling  and experience, try to encourage yourself with the word of God like King David.  At times someone can just come to you with the word of encouragement without knowing that they are ministering to you.  No one will be knowing that you need to be ministered to. Even though I'm in the ministry, there are times I need ministry too. I just want to mention that through worship, exhortation, or sermon, you can receive help in time of need, because you hear the Word of God and your faith is revived. Remember, the Word of God is sharper than a two edged sword....!( Hebrews 4:12, Psalm 119:11, Psalm 119:103-105). Therefore, it has the power to transform lives for the better, in the name of Jesus Christ! Whatever, you may be experiencing right now, just declare the Word of God upon yourself and life will never be the same again. Once again, " There is Power in the Word!"

JELOUSY AND ENVY CAN STEAL YOUR JOY

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ   Here is the word for your meditation and prayer this morning! I am delighted to share the word of life at such a time as this. The title of my message is:"JELOUSY AND ENVY CAN STEAL YOUR JOY" Never compare yourself with anyone else because it invites covetousness, jelousy, and envy. This is one of God's commandments in the Bible. The Amplified Bible  in Exodus 20:17 says,
[17]"You shall not covet your neighbor's house, your neighbor's wife, or his manservant, or his maidservant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's. [Luke 12:15; Col. 3:5.]" Coveting what others have is a big, big reason why people lose their joy. God wants His children to learn to love their own houses, their own spouses, their own gifts and abilities, their own positions and possessions - not someone's. " I wish I had her life."  " I wish I had his car." " I wish I had their children." " I wish I had a musical gift so I could be a worship leader and travel with a large ministry."  "I wish I was in a position of leadership where I could be the boss." Does the commandment mentioned above, mean that it is wrong for us to want to have the same kinds of things other people have? No, there is nothing wrong with that. But we should never want what someone else has to the point that we become envious and jelous.These negative emotions poison our own lives and  hinder loving relationships with others.     The Bible in Colossians 3:5-10 also says, "Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:" I try to refrain from looking at people and thinking things like, I wish I looked like him. I wish I had his beard. Don't compare yourself with other people, because comparison invites jelous and envy. You are unique and special as you are. Love and appreciate  yourself, as you were fearfully and wonderfully made.(Psalm 139:14) The other kind of jelousy is found in the story of Joseph's coat, which was a special gift from his loving father, Israel ( Jacob). The coat was very beautiful, and all Joseph's brothers were jelous of it. In fact, the Bible says that they hated him so much because of it, they planned to kill him. But then they decided to sell him into slavery. That is one of the more extreme  results of jelousy, but it serves to remind us of how dangerous jelousy can be.( Genesis 37:3-27). I encourage you to stop comparing yourself with other people  in regard to how you look, what position you occupy, or anything else they have that you don't. Comparison only thwarts God's working in your life. The Bible also says," So get rid of your feelings of hatred. Don't just pretend to be good! Be done with dishonesty and jelousy and talking about others behind their backs." ( 1 Peter 2:1) So backbiting is also fueled by jelous, hatred and envy. Be yourself and love who you are, and what you are. Stop comparing yourself with orher people, because there will never be someone like you and therefore love yourself as you are.

WHAT IS A SOUL TIE?

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!                           I am delighted to share the word of empowerment and edification, at such a time as this. The title of my message is: "WHAT IS A SOUL TIE?" The Bible in 1 Corinthians 6:16-20 says, "What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." WHAT A SOUL TIE IS: The Bible speaks of what today is known as soul ties.  In the Bible, it doesn't use the word soul tie, but it speaks of them when it talks about souls being knit together, becoming one flesh, etc. A soul tie can serve many functions, but in it's simplest form, it ties two souls together in the spiritual realm. Soul ties between married couples draw them together like magnets, while soul ties between fornicators can draw a beaten and abused woman to the man which in the natural realm she would hate and run from, but instead she runs to him even though he doesn't love her, and treats her like dirt. In the demonic world, unholy soul ties can serve as bridges between two people to pass demonic garbage through. I once helped a young man some time ago to break free from downwright awful visitations from demons, all due to an  ungodly soul tie he had with a witch. The man was a Christian, and the only thing that allowed her to send demonic torment his way, is through the soul tie. So an ungodly soul tie is dangerous and destructive. Other soul ties can do things such as allow one person to manipulate and control another person, and the other person is unaware to what is going on or knows what is going on, but for no real reason, allows it to continue.                      HOW SOUL TIES ARE FORMED: I believe there are other ways  which soul ties are formed, but here are some that I am aware of.                           SEXUAL RELATIONS:        Godly soul ties are formed when a couple are married. In Ephesians 5:31, the scripture says, "For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh." The Godly soul tie between a husband and the wife that God intended him to have is unbreakable by man ( Mark 10:7-9). However, when a person has ungodly sexual relations with another person, an ungodly soul tie is then formed. (1 Corinthians 6:16)This soul tie fragments  the soul, and is destructive. People who have many past relationships find it very difficult to 'bond'  or be joined to anybody, because their soul is fragmented(broken into pieces).                CLOSE RELATIONSHIPS:          King David and Jonathan had a good soul tie as a result of a good friendship.(1 Samuel 18:1) But bad soul ties can form from bad relationships as well. Idolizing somebody can cause a bad soul tie. I have heard too that you can create a  soul tie with a music rock group, by becoming obsessed with their music. Which explains the strong pull towards certain music that seems almost irresistible. Let us try as born again Christians to avoid listening to circular music, because you may be tied to the spirit behind that kind of music. Listen to godly music!  VOWS, COMMITMENTS AND AGREEMENTS:        Vows are known to bind the soul.( Numbers 30:2) Even a marriage itself cinsists of vows and binds the two people together(Ephesians 5:31). Therefore I have little reason to overlook the concept of vows or commitments as being a means to create a soul tie.             HOW TO BREAK A SOUL TIE.                        1. If any sins were committed to cause this soul tie, repent of them! Fornication is perhaps one of the most common ways to create nasty soul ties.                                  2. If gifts were given to you by the other person in connection  with the sin or unholy  relationship, such as rings, flowers, cards, bras, undergaments, etc. I would get rid of them! Such things symbolize the ungodly relationship, and can hold a soul tie in place. If you are  still friends or in a relationship ( just now it's no longer an ungodly relationship),  like say a boyfriend/  girlfriend relationship, except you 've repented of and forsaken the unholy practices you used to do in your relationship, then I don't feel it is necessary to destroy all the gifts and things that you have been given. I would still encourage you to get rid of anything that symbolizes the ungodly practices in the relationship though, such as if a guy gives a girl a bra and panties with his intials on them during fornication. I wouldn't encourage you to hang on to such things that symbolize sin or that are wrong to give each other before marriage. Things such as flowers and love letters given during an adultery should be destroyed. 3. Any rash vows or commitments made that played a part in forming the soul tie should be renounced  and repented of, and broken in the name of Jesus Christ. Even things like " I will love you forever", or " I could never love another man or woman!" need to be renounced. They are spoken commitments that need to be undone verbally. As Proverbs 21:23 tells us, " Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepth his soul from troubles." The tongue has the ability to bring the soul great troubles and bondage. Remember, the scripture also says, " Death and life are in the power of the tongue .."( Proverbs 18:21)                           4. Forgive that person if you have anything against them.                               5. Renounce the soul tie. Do this verbally, and in the name of Jesus Christ! For example you just say, " In the name of Jesus Christ; I now renounce any ungodly soul ties formed between myself and.......as a result of ......( fornication, etc.)             6. Break the soul tie in the name of Jesus Christ! For example, " I now break and sever any ungodly soul ties formed  between myself  and ......as a result of ...... ( fornication, etc.) in the name of Jesus Christ. "             7. Ask Jesus to wash  and restore the parts  of each other's hearts that were fractured. You can do this by saying something such as,     " Lord Jesus I ask that you take any parts in me that belong to ..........
and wash them in your Blood and restore them  to him/her. I also ask that you take any parts of mine that are in .......and wash them in your Blood  and restore them to me." Remember, your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and therefore protect it from any form of contamination and corruption. You may be in a Marriage relationship or simple relationship, and things are not working well, you need to be delivered and set free in the name of Jesus Christ. Your previous ungodly acts or relationships, may be the reason why things are not well in your marriage or relationship. Seek deliverance and you will be set free in the name of Jesus Christ! May the Lord richly bless you all!
