BE A REMNANT IN HARD TIMES

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer at such a time as this. The tittle of my message is : "BE A REMNANT IN HARD TIMES"

The Voice Bible in  2 Timothy 3:1-7 says, "And know this: in the last days, times will be hard. You see, the world will be filled with narcissistic, money-grubbing, pretentious, arrogant, and abusive people. They will rebel against their parents and will be ungrateful, unholy, uncaring, coldhearted, accusing, without restraint, savage, and haters of anything good. Expect them to be treacherous, reckless, swollen with self-importance, and given to loving pleasure more than they love God. Even though they may look or act like godly people, they’re not. They deny His power. I tell you: Stay away from the likes of these. They’re snakes slithering into the houses of vulnerable women, women gaudy with sin, to seduce them. These reptiles can capture them because these women are weak and easily swayed by their desires. They seem always to be learning, but they never seem to gain the full measure of the truth. And, just as Jannes and Jambres rose up against Moses, these ungodly people defy the truth. Their minds are corrupt, and their faith is absolutely worthless. But they won’t get too far because their stupidity will be noticed by everyone, just as it was with Jannes and Jambres." Paul challenges Timothy to be prepared. Hard times are coming. Things will go from bad to worse, he warns, because pretentious, hostile, hateful, and betraying people are out there. He tells Timothy to stay away from them and to continue to look to Paul’s example, enduring in love and recalling how Paul himself has followed Jesus. For if Jesus was persecuted, then what should His followers expect for themselves? In the midst of this warning, Paul encourages Timothy. "You have been a good student. You have closely observed how I have lived. You’ve followed my instructions, my habits, my purpose, my faith, my patience. You’ve watched how I love and have seen how I endure. You have been with me through persecutions and sufferings—remember what they did to me in Antioch? In Iconium and Lystra? I endured all of it, and the Lord rescued me from it all!"

Hard times can change a well behaved person of good character to a wild and dangerous person. Looking at what is happening  these days, one is persuaded to believe that these are the end times referred  to by the scripture above, because of moral decadence and trash being experienced in our societies today.

The Church must surely play it's role of shaping the society into maintaining good morals and values. Everyone has a role to play in building good characters and acceptable behaviours in our society.  God is even ashamed and regretting having created man who has dominion over all things, but is now struggling with sin and corruption.

Let us examine ourselves to see whether we are living lives that are upright and acceptable before God. ( Job 1:1) The Bible says, " Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace" ( Romans 11:5 KJV)

The word " remnant" means a part that is left after the greater part has been used, removed, or destroyed.  In Christian Theology it means " a small minority of people who will remain faithful to God  and so be saved ( in allusion to biblical prophecies concerning Israel). "If any one ceases to be a witness,  he ceases to be one of the remnant"

So by the grace of God, let us be part of the few who  survive innocently, in difficult times.
Be a remnant in difficult times such as this and remain faithful and honest, even when the going is tough.

I know there is a lot of peer pressure out there and human PERSONALITY is being influenced by the environment, but choose to be different and be a remnant at such a time as this.
Be unique, extraordinary, and shun sin and corruption, even in hard times.

When others are moving with the crowd, choose to be a remnant.
Allow the Holy Spirit to lead you in many areas of your lives. ( 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Galatians 5:16-23, 2 Corinthians 13:5-6, John 14:26)

The scripture also says, "The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid." (Zephaniah 3:13 KJV)

Be a remnant and shun sin and immoral activities, even in hard times.
The remnant shall survive beyond all circumstances and challenges. "BE A REMNANT IN HARD TIMES!" Choose to be different and special in difficult times!

Don't be influenced by circumstances, change the circumstances!
Refuse to be influenced and changed by circumstances! Change the situation!

You can do all things, through Christ who strengthens you.
Be a remnant in Christ Jesus!  ( Philippians 4:13).

May God richly bless you!

OVERCOMING THE BATTLEFIELD OF THE MIND

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ ! I just want to share a message of encouragement and spiritual upliftment entitled: " OVERCOMING THE BATTLEFIELD OF THE MIND". The human mind is a battlefield of thoughts and storms of life.

The Bible says, "( For ) Although we live in the world ( walk in the flesh), we do not fight ( wage war) in the same way the world fights  ( according to the flesh). We fight with weapons that are different from those the world uses ( not merely human weapons; not of the flesh).  Our weapons have power from God that can destroy the enemy"s strong places ( strongholds; fortresses). We destroy people"s arguments  ( human reasoning; sophistries) and every proud thing ( pretension; exalted opinion; high thing) that raises itself against the knowledge of God. We capture every thought and make it obey Christ. We are ready to punish ( avenge) anyone there who does not obey ( every disobedience), but first we want you to obey fully ( once/ after  your obedience is fulfilled;  once the church as a whole  repents, Paul will discipline those who refuse)." ( 2 Corinthians 10:3-6).

Did you know that our thoughts and reasoning can be an enemy of our faith?
There are things that we have learnt and were  taught from the Bible,  which are failing to work or manifest in our lives, because of our thoughts and reasoning which is wrestling with our faith.
As a result the mind becomes a battlefield of thoughts and negative reasoning.

Right now there is someone who missed their breakthrough because the mind could not connect with God's promises due to unbelief and doubt.
You need to renew your mind with the word in order to rescue it from any human reasoning and stronghold, fighting against the will of God,  which is causing you not to succeed and prosper in life.( Romans 12:2).

Some of the strongholds that are fighting against people's faith are:, fear, doubt, unbelief, unforgiveness, offenses, lack of love and lack of patience, jelous, envy and strife, as well and spiritual attacks.

Many people's minds have been captured by stress, bitterness,  unrepentant thoughts and negative ideas.
This has seen some people suffering from the spirit of depression and stress, forcing the mind to be captured by doubt and fear, although the word is being preached all the time, the battlefield of thoughts and negative ideas destroys  faith and hope.

Some demonic strongholds can capture one's mind to an extent of even failing to see opportunities that are available around them.  ( 2 Timothy 1:7, Galatians 5:16-23, Ephesians 4:26-32, Mark 11:23-26, Matthew 18:7, Hebrews 11:6 ).

I declare today that your mind be set free and delivered from all evil and negative thoughts in the name of Jesus.
Strive to fight against the " Battlefield of the mind" in order to live a stress free and positive life.
Be delivered from the spirit of negative reasoning and depression in the name of Jesus.
May God richly bless you!

PRIDE DESTROYS, BUT HUMILITY UPLIFTS

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer.
The tittle of my message is: " PRIDE DESTROYS, BUT HUMILITY UPLIFTS" The Living Bible in Proverbs 29:23 says, "Pride ends in a fall, while humility brings honor."

Pride is self-destructive, but humility promotes and elevates a person.
Many people who have suddenly become popular and pompous, attract fictitious recognition and temporary honour. They suddenly fall and disappear from the limelight.
Their downfall is usually thunderous and shameful, because of pride! But genuine kind and humble people, build ladders for divine elevation and promotion. Humble people build lasting glory and recognition.

The Bible says, " Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up." ( James 4:10)   The Living Bible in Psalm 73:3-28 also says,  "For I was envious of the prosperity of the proud and wicked. Yes, all through life their road is smooth! They grow sleek and fat. They aren’t always in trouble and plagued with problems like everyone else, so their pride sparkles like a jeweled necklace, and their clothing is woven of cruelty! These fat cats have everything their hearts could ever wish for! They scoff at God and threaten his people. How proudly they speak! They boast against the very heavens, and their words strut through the earth. And so God’s people are dismayed and confused and drink it all in. “Does God realize what is going on?” they ask. “Look at these men of arrogance; they never have to lift a finger—theirs is a life of ease; and all the time their riches multiply.” Have I been wasting my time? Why take the trouble to be pure? All I get out of it is trouble and woe—every day and all day long! If I had really said that, I would have been a traitor to your people. Yet it is so hard to explain it—this prosperity of those who hate the Lord. Then one day I went into God’s sanctuary to meditate and thought about the future of these evil men. What a slippery path they are on—suddenly God will send them sliding over the edge of the cliff and down to their destruction: an instant end to all their happiness, an eternity of terror. Their present life is only a dream! They will awaken to the truth as one awakens from a dream of things that never really were! When I saw this, what turmoil filled my heart! I saw myself so stupid and so ignorant; I must seem like an animal to you, O God. But even so, you love me! You are holding my right hand! You will keep on guiding me all my life with your wisdom and counsel, and afterwards receive me into the glories of heaven! Whom have I in heaven but you? And I desire no one on earth as much as you! My health fails; my spirits droop, yet God remains! He is the strength of my heart; he is mine forever! But those refusing to worship God will perish, for he destroys those serving other gods. But as for me, I get as close to him as I can! I have chosen him, and I will tell everyone about the wonderful ways he rescues me."

The scripture in Psalm 73 is a proof and evidence for the fall of those who live lost and wild lives, full of pride and ungodly acts.

Let us live according to the will of God in humility and peace.
Though the humble may fall due to some trials and tribulations, their fall is usually temporary. They are quickly rescued and uplifted to a place of honour and integrity.

The Living Bible in Micah 7:7-10 also says, "As for me, I look to the Lord for his help; I wait for God to save me; he will hear me. Do not rejoice against me, O my enemy, for though I fall, I will rise again! When I sit in darkness, the Lord himself will be my Light. I will be patient while the Lord punishes me, for I have sinned against him; then he will defend me from my enemies and punish them for all the evil they have done to me. God will bring me out of my darkness into the light, and I will see his goodness. Then my enemy will see that God is for me and be ashamed for taunting, “Where is that God of yours?” Now with my own eyes I see them trampled down like mud in the street."

Therefore let us endeavour to fight the good fight of faith, by living humble and peaceful lives. (1 Timothy 6:12, 2 Timothy 4:7-8, Hebrews 12:14, Philippians 4:6-7)
Remember, "Pride destroys, but Humility uplifts"

May God richly bless you!

GENUINE LOVE

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!  The Living Bible in Philippians 2:1-11 says,  "Is there any such thing as Christians cheering each other up? Do you love me enough to want to help me? Does it mean anything to you that we are brothers in the Lord, sharing the same Spirit? Are your hearts tender and sympathetic at all? Then make me truly happy by loving each other and agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, working together with one heart and mind and purpose. Don’t be selfish; don’t live to make a good impression on others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourself. Don’t just think about your own affairs, but be interested in others, too, and in what they are doing. Your attitude should be the kind that was shown us by Jesus Christ, who, though he was God, did not demand and cling to his rights as God, but laid aside his mighty power and glory, taking the disguise of a slave and becoming like men. And he humbled himself even further, going so far as actually to die a criminal’s death on a cross. Yet it was because of this that God raised him up to the heights of heaven and gave him a name which is above every other name, that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

The title of my message is: "GENUINE LOVE!" People of God, our relationship and friendship as God's people must be based on genuine love and compassion towards one another.
We must genuinely help and assist each other all the time. Don't pretend, but show true AGAPE( God kind of love)

Stop hating and despising one another!  Pretentiousness and  hypocrisy is the sin of ignorance, which leads to destruction.
The scripture says, "MY  people perish because of lack of knowledge..." ( Hosea 4:6).

Remember, true Christianity requires sympathy and love among fellow believers and non believers. ( John 13:34-35, 1John 4:7-8, 1 Corinthians 13:3-13, 1 John 3:14-18).
Let us stop pretending and love one another unconditionally.

You need to carry the mind of Christ in humility and compassion. ( James 4:10)
Jesus Christ never counted or considered himself to be like God, but took the form of a slave and a despised person, as he suffered on the cross to death.

But his character and act of humility earned him the everlasting eternal  kingdom life, as he became the universal Saviour and King of kings.
Spiritual and physical promotion is earned by the humble and kind.

Christ  was given a name that is above every name, because of his humility.
The name that has power over all powers.
Power to deliver and overcome all obstacles and powers of darkness.

Whatever you are experiencing right now, just call upon the name of Jesus and be set free, in the name of Jesus!

May God richly bless you !

NEGLECTED BECAUSE OF YOUR CONDITION

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word of God for your meditation and prayer!  The title of my message is: " Neglected because of your Condition! " People of God in this journey of life here on earth, people including friends, relatives and partners in marriage, may neglect and dump you, because of your miserable condition and illness.

The Bible says, ".....................
I am an Egyptian  - the servant of an Amalekite, " he replied.
" My master left me behind three days ago because  I was sick." ( 1 Samuel 30:13).
In life we sometimes face mountains and storms of challenges and problems that may isolate us from the rest of the community and world.

When things are right we have many people who love us and would want to use you.
But when they have drained and milked you, they can dump you and leave you for the dead.

It can be at your work place, when you can no longer give your employer the necessary services, they can retrench or fire you from your position.
Some married couples, enjoy their marriage when things are still all right, but when something goes wrong, either of the persons in that marriage, can neglect one another.

You were once an admirable and enviable couple in your community, but now you are living a lonely life of grief and pain everyday, because of the tormenting and grievous condition you are now in.

The story above of an Egyptian slave is sad and heart-rending indeed, who was neglected and left by his master because of his nagging illness.
However, I want to encourage and assure you today that our God says, he will never abandon you until he perfects that which concerns your life.

The scripture in Psalm 138:7-8 says, " Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes, with your right hand you save me. The Lord will fulfil  his purpose for me; your love, O Lord, endures forever - do not abandon the works  of your hands."

God will never forsake you, although your friends and relatives may abandon and forsake you. ( Hebrews 13:5-6). If you are sick he will heal you! If you are depressed and sorrowful, he will comfort you! If you are in need, he will supply all your needs!( Exodus 15:26, Matthew 11:28-30, Philippians 4:19)

The Bible says, " We are hard pressed on every side , but not crushed;  perplexed, but not in despair;  persecuted, but not abandoned;  struck down,  but not destroyed." ( 2 Corinthians 4:8-9). It does not matter whatever situation you may be in, you are not alone, your ever present helper is always with you all the time.( Psalm 46:1-3)

Let me end by assuring you that, don't quit from where ever you are, the Lord after you have suffered a little while, will restore and establish you again.  ( 1 Peter 5:9-11, Deuteronomy 31:6-8).

It can be your health condition, business,  marriage, employment, relationship  or any other challenges you are facing, the Lord will surely deliver you from that condition.
Be delivered and set free right now, in the name of Jesus.

If you are under demonic attacks and influence, be delivered and set free right now  in the name of Jesus! ( Ephesians 6:10-18). Remember, the Lord will never neglect or abandon you. He will never leave you or forsake you!

May God richly bless you!

IF I HAD KNOWN

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! I am encouraged to share the word of life at such a time as this. People of God there are times in life when we begin to ponder and regret certain actions and decisions that we would have made in life.

There are too many people today, who are regretting and worrying as a result of previous mistakes that have since put them in a tight and irreversible  positions.
The title of my message is: " IF I HAD KNOWN!" It may be too late to change and correct some issues of life.

The Bible says, " We, of course, have plenty of wisdom to pass on to you once you get your feet on firm spiritual ground, but it's not popular wisdom, the fashionable wisdom of high - priced experts that will be out - of - date in a year or so. God's wisdom is something mysterious that goes deep into the interior of his purposes. You don't find it lying around on the surface. It's not the latest message, but more like the oldest- what God determined as the way to bring out his best in us, long before we ever arrived on the scene. The experts of our day haven't a clue about what this eternal plan is. If they had, they wouldn't have killed the Master of the God- designed life on a cross. That is why we have this Scripture text:No one's ever seen or heard anything like like this, Never so much as imagined anything quite like it - What God has arranged for those who love him. But you have seen and heard it because God by his Spirit has brought it all out into the open before you." ( 1 Corinthians 2:5-10).

The people who crucified Jesus Christ, did it out of ignorance and jelous, but many of them regretted later  after realizing that they had killed an innocent person who was a destiny helper.
There are people who were accidentally married and now are blaming themselves and regretting because of what they are experiencing now in their marriages.

There are people who wasted their chances while  there was still time and opportunities and now they are suffering, due to previous bad influences and wasted chances.

Someone  right now is in a devastating state due to self imposed physical and spiritual challenges and they are saying, " If I had known," but it is now too late.
People of God let us try to make the right decisions and choices, before it is too late.

Remember. the scripture says, " ......your sin will find you out" ( Numbers 32:23)
Some decisions and things you do today, may be a challenge to your life tomorrow!
You may be there and you feel you have messed up in life, but God is saying, " Come as you are and let us reason together......" ( Isaiah 1:18).

The Lord is also saying, " Come all those who are heavy laden and they shall find rest.." ( Matthew 11:28-30).
Don't regret the Lord can give you a second chance to address your current challenges.

You may have failed in your relationship and you are now stranded!
You may have messed up at your previous employment, and now you are in a desperate situation!  You may have entered into an agreement which has brought suffering in your family!

You might have engaged in some inhuman and immoral activities which is now causing pain in your life.
You could have moved with wrong people who influenced and caused you to commit a crime and you ended up in trouble and lost your job.

Whatever, circumstance you are in, the Lord is saying, " Is there  anything too hard for me?
Nothing is too hard for God, because all things are possible with him who called us to his glory. ( Matthew 19:26, Colossians 1:26-27).

But I know there is still someone who is saying, " HAD I KNOWN OR IF I HAD KNOWN!"
Stop worrying and regretting, your issue can be addressed and changed in the name of Jesus!

May God richly bless you!

EXPERIENCE THE POWER OF THE RESURRECTION EVERY DAY

Greetings in the name of our living Messiah and Lord and  Savior, Jesus Christ! I am delighted to share the word of God after an exciting and awesome experience during the Easter celebrations!

Indeed He has risen with all power and authority for us to experience the same resurrection power everyday in our lives. The Bible  says, " He told the disciples,  "I have been given all authority in heaven and earth." ( Matthew 28:18 TLB).

The title of my message is: " EXPERIENCE THE POWER OF THE RESURRECTION EVERY DAY!"

The resurrection of Jesus Christ brings in new hope and a new beginning in our lives as Christians. The former things have passed and a new chapter has been opened for a new start in life. Forget about the former things and focus on the future and new start in life. ( Isaiah 43:18-19).

Christ's resurrection power has brought new life and a new beginning in our lives.  I just want to quickly mention that, the resurrection is more than just an event that happened once in history. It is the source of the power you can experience in your own life, everyday.

The same resurrection power that brought Jesus from death to life is available to you, if you tap into it, you will see an amazing transformation in your own life, too. The scripture says, "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us" ( Ephesians 3:20 KJV).

The resurrection  power is inside you as a born again Christian!
Here is how you can experience resurrection power every day:                                                        USE THE POWER NOW, NOT JUST IN HEAVEN.

Your hope of the resurrection is not  just for the future when you physically die and go to heaven; it is also for now, while you are living on earth and struggling with sin.
Make use of that God -given power to help you overcome sin right now, and every day you are alive. Regularly  confess your sins, repent of them, and embrace the forgiveness and grace of God offers you to keep growing. ( 1 John 1:8-10).

TRADE RELIGION FOR A RELATIONSHIP.
Instead of pursuing hope through performing religious rituals, believing right doctrines, or doing good deeds, realize that those things are valuable yet can't produce hope.
Place your hope in a dynamic relationship with Jesus.

As you live for Him, relying on His resurrection power at work in your life, you will experience fulfillment of all God's purposes for you. Instead of focusing on what you can do for God, focus on what God can do through you.

The Bible says, "They will do things to make it look as if they are Christians.
But they will not receive the power that is for a Christian. Keep away from such people." ( 2 Timothy 3:5).
You need to live and experience the resurrection  power every day.

SET ETERNAL PRIORITIES.
Ask God to help you see your life from His perspective.
Look beyond the world's values  ( which are only temporary) to what has eternal value.
Base your decisions -for all aspects of your life - on what matters most in eternity.

Make the most of your time here on earth, keeping in mind that it will soon be over and you will be accountable to God for  how you used your time here. Know and set the right priorities in life as a Christian.
Colossians 3:2 says, " Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth."
DIE TO SELF.
Remember that death must always precede resurrection.
Be willing  to sacrifice whatever selfish desires and agendas you have that conflict with God's purposes for your life.

Decide to crucify your selfish attitudes and behaviors, so that God will raise you to new life by transforming your attitudes and behaviors into healthy ones that will help you grow to be more like Jesus.
Understand that, physically, you are born and live until you die, progressing toward physical death. But spiritually, you are dead until you are made alive through a relationship with Jesus, progressing toward eternal life. ( Matthew 16:24, John 3:1-16, Galatians 2:20, James 4:10).

EXPECT THE IMPOSSIBLE.
Just as the resurrection itself was impossible for anyone but God, the power  behind the resurrection will take you  into situations that are impossible for you to deal successfully with on your own. Expect God to challenge your faith when you ask for His resurrection power in your life, but know that if you trust Him, you will experience greater  adventures than you can imagine.  ( Philippians 3:10).

EXPERIENCE RESURRECTION PEACE.
You do not have to live with guilt and shame because of the resurrection 's power to forgive your sins.
Ask God to flood your soul the peace of knowing that you are in a right relationship with Him. Recognize that if you are deliberately sinning against God,  you can't be in a right relationship with Him, so  deal with your sin so that it doesn't block  the  peace God  wants you to experience.

If you want to experience the peace Jesus offers, you must come to Him on His terms, being willing to live the way He leads you to live-the way that's best for you. Every  day, repent of your sins, so that you can enjoy true peace.  ( John 14:27, Philippians 4:6-7, Matthew 11:28).

EXPERIENCE RESURRECTION JOY.
The freedom from sin and hope in Jesus that the resurrection produced brings great joy into your life. If you allow your constantly changing circumstances to control your life, you can easily lose  your happiness.

But if you allow the Holy Spirit to lead you, you will experience joy, which will remain constant despite your circumstances.
Unlike happiness, joy is more than an emotion - it's the ability to see beyond your circumstances to the God who has ultimate control  over them, and always acts according to what's best for you. ( Nehemiah 8:10, Psalm 16:11).

USE YOUR RESURRECTION AUTHORITY.
Make full use the authority you have as a Christian to lead other people  to eternal life.
The greater power on earth is to see a person become born again. So, as valuable as it is to minister to people's physical needs, don't stop there. Share the Gospel message with other people as often as you can.
By doing so, you will be helping to release God's resurrection power into their lives.

Do your best to live faithfully to represent Jesus well.
As other people see God at work  in your  life,  they will be attracted to Him.
Every  day, continue to pursue  God passionately, and your passion for Him will spark the interest of others around you who can pursue Him themselves.  ( Psalm 42:1-2, Mark 12:30).

EXPERIENCE RESURRECTION CONFIDENCE.
Since God is on your side, you can be absolutely confident in His love and you don't need to be afraid of what the future holds.
Whenever you encounter trouble in this failed world, trust God to lead you through it and accomplish a good purpose in the process.

Don't place your trust in anything lesser than God- like your family, your health, your job, your talents, your money, your husband, your wife or your friend.
Give your allegiance wholeheartedly to God, and you will experience confidence that can't be shaken by changing circumstances.( Psalm 118:6-10, Psalm 125:1-2, Psalm 20:7, 2 Corinthians 4:8-9).

EXPERIENCE RESURRECTION HOPE.
Your salvation  means that you don't need to fear death.
Expect God  to fulfill all the promises He makes in the Bible, and trust those promises in your life. Don't let little life's petty annoyances weigh you down; realize that that they are irrelevant compared to your eternal reward in heaven.

Live with heaven in mind- pursuing  eternal values- and rejoice in the hope you can experience every day. ( Romans 5:3-5, Proverbs 3:5-6).
Experience the Power of Resurrection  Every Day! You can live a victorious life in Christ's resurrection power  every  day.

Whatever, has been dead in your life, I command it to be resurrected right now in the name of Jesus! Let the resurrection power, resurrect and resuscitate every area of your life that was dead, in the name of Jesus!
