HAVING FAITH IN GOD

 

 

 

 

We greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! It is my humble pleasure to share the word of life with you family of God. I want to share about faith. First I want to talk about: " THE GOD - KIND OF FAITH!"

 

The Bible says, " And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have  faith in God. For verily I say unto you, whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart,but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith " ( Mark 11:22). 

 

Jesus spoke these words as a way of encouragement to His disciples. These are some the most profound words voiced by the Master. A good marginal reference Bible shows that Jesus actually said, " Have faith of God." In other words, " Have the God - kind of faith." These words from the lips of the Master reveal to us that there are different kinds of faith. But the disciples were counselled to have the God - kind of faith. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 11:1 that " Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

 

I would like to define faith as the evidence of unseen realities. Faith gives you the reason to affirm that what you hoped for is yours, before you see it with your physical eyes. It is the proof of the existence of something that is not tangible to the physical senses. Faith is not in the realm of the senses; it transcends the realm of reasoning and the mind. It is a spiritual force, an attribute of the human spirit.

 

That is why I define faith as the response of the human spirit to the Word of God. Faith is not an irrational leap in the dark, but a leap on God"s Word. It is believing what God's Word has said concerning anything and acting that way, regardless of any contrary evidence around you. So it means whatever you may be believing God for, you can have it in the name of Jesus.

 

What is it that which is worrying you right now? The Word of God has assured us that you can ask anything  and you will have it, by faith. Is it your health, marriage, employment,     or business, claim it by fath in the name of Jesus and you will have it. ( Hebrews 11:6).

 

You need the " God - kind of faith" to claim and receive your blessings in the name of Jesus. ( 1 John 5:14-15). Just believe God"s word, and you will succeed and prosper in life.( Joshua 1:8, 2 Chronicles 20:20).  Faith produces tangible substances. Having faith in God, is trusting God. ( Proverbs 3:5-6).

 

Secondly, there are:" TWO KINDS OF FAITH!"  In a general sense, there are two kinds of faith. First, there is " the God -kind of faith" as revealed in Mark 11:22-23, which I mentioned in my previous message. Then there is " the human kind of faith."  The human - kind of faith is based on knowledge or information obtained from the senses.

 

The type of faith calls real only those things that can be seen or touched physically. It doesn't produce any result;  it gives you nothing. It is not true faith, because faith is the evidence of things not seen or perceived by the senses. A good illustration of someone who operated in this kind of faith was Thomas,  one of Jesus's disciples. When he heard that the Master had risen from the dead, he said, "Except I see.....I will not believe!" ( John 20:25). Shortly afterwards, when Jesus showed up, He rebuked him saying, " be not FAITHLESS, but believing ......." ( John 20:27).

 

In other words, Thomas was actually faithless! So those who say seeing is believing are faithless according to the Scriptures. The human- kind of faith is not faith at all. It is zero faith. I like to call it " the Thomas- kind of faith." Jesus went on to declare to Thomas, " Blessed are they that have not seen and yet have believed " ( John 20:29).

 

The blessed person is the one who believes before seeing.   Having faith in God is to believe what the word of God says it can do in your life and you accept it by faith. ( Romans 4:17). We need Abraham the Father of faith's kind of faith, in order to be able to believe and wait upon the Lord to perform what He promises in His word. ( Genesis 12:1-6, Jeremiah 1:12, Isaiah 40:31). Human- kind of faith does not produce results, but the God - kind of faith helps you to achieve and accomplish the impossible in life. ( Mark 11:22-24, Matthew 19:26). Just believe and don't doubt, because there is nothing too hard for God. ( Jeremiah 32:17,27).

 

Thirdly I want to urge you to:" GROW YOUR FAITH!" The Bible shows us that " faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" ( Romans 10:17). The more of God's Word you store in your heart, the bigger your faith becomes. The less of God's Word you receive in your spirit, the less faith you will be able to express when you are faced with challenges. ( Psalm 34:6, Matthew 12:34-37, Collosians 3:16-17).

 

There is no shortcut to growing your faith, feeding on God's Word is the only sure way. Hence, it is important that you cultivate the habit of consistently listening to, studying, and meditating on the Word of God ( 2 Timothy 2:15, Joshua 1:8).

 

If you are having problems in your health, or you are in a situation that seems hopeless, get to the Word! Become a student of the Word, diligently search and study the scriptures that apply to your peculiar situation. ( Acts 17:11). The Bible shows us in Hosea 4:6 that many of God's children are destroyed and brought down because of lack of knowledge of God's Word. Therefore inundate your spirit and bombard your mind with God's Word. Your faith will soar and you will be better equipped to unleash it against any obstacle and contrary circumstance in your life. ( Isaiah 54:17). 

 

In 1 Timothy 4:15, the Bible says, " Meditate on these things, give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all." Keep meditating on God's Word until it takes charge of your mind, such that all you think and know is what the Word says. Do it until you become fully persuaded that nothing and no one can stop you from enjoying God's best for you. ( Romans 12:1-2).

 

The Bible tells us that Abraham meditated on God's promise so much until he became " fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able to perform " Romans (4:21). Abraham became fully persuaded  ( convinced), because he kept his thoughts fixed on God's promise;  he refused to consider all other contrary thoughts.

 

As you keep feeding your spirit with God's Word, your faith will grow and cause you to stand strong in the face of life's greatest challenges. Finally once again I encourage you to "Grow Your Faith" all the time by feedibg your spirit with the Word ( Bread of life). ( Matthew 4:4, John 6:35).  Whatever situation or challenge you may be facing right now, declare the word of God against any negativity and obstacle, in the name of Jesus. ( Job 22:28-29).  You can overcome trials,  temptations and other opposing forces by the word of God. ( Matthew 4:4-14)  Make the word of God the standard for your life in order to "Grow Your Faith!

 

Lastly, I want to say: "YOU HAVE FAITH!" When you were born again, you received the measure of faith. The Bible says in Romans 12:3, " ......according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith." This means that every believer received the same measure of faith at salvation. However, that deposit of faith is not enough for everything;  God expects you to grow it.

 

It is your responsibility to grow your faith strong. In all epistles, which are actually the revelation of the new creation, the Holy Spirit never expressly intructs the Christian to have faith in God. The reason is simple: to the Christian, faith is a lifestyle, for " the just shall live by faith" ( Hebrews 10:38, Romans 1:17).

 

It is the New Testament principle for the believer. The believer is never told to have faith in God, because our very life is by faith. In other words, we already have the measure of the God-kind of faith. So do not hesitate to exercise your faith in God in all circumstances of life. Be bold and declare the word of God by faith all things are possible if you believe.

 

You have a measure of faith in you. Exercise that faith to claim your blessings and breakrhrough in the name of Jesus!  ( Matthew 19:26, Mark 9:23). Remember," Without faith it is impossible to please God......."( Hebrews 11:6).

DEATH AND LIFE ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE

 

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your evening meditation and prayer! The title of my message is: "DEATH AND LIFE ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE!"

 

The  Amplified Bible in Proverbs 18:21 says,   " Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words." You hear a person saying, " This is what I have between me and poverty!" What it simply means is that you are replacing what you had with poverty. You are saying between you and what you have, there is poverty remaining.

 

But if you say, " This is what is left between me and plenty". You replace what you had with plenty. You are declaring a transfer of substance to replace emptiness in your life. You will be replacing emptiness with spiritual realty! You replace lack with availability.

 

Remember, death and life are in the power of the tongue. You become what you say.

Words have the power of transfer! Words have the power of establishment.

Words have the power to build or destroy.

Words have the power to cause things to become.

Words have the power to release authority and response!

Words have the power to create and manifest things.

 

God created the heavens and earth by the power of the tongue. ( Genesis 1:1-7)

You need to be careful about how you respond or speak! What you say may affect  your future. Many people have destroyed themselves by the words of their mouth. Some habitual sayings and quotes can manifest into negative consequences! Watch what you say or speak always! It may bring pain and regret later. 

 

But some words may also create positive realities in life.( Ephesians 3:20)
The Amplified Bible in 1 Kings 17:10-16 also says. " So he set out and went to Zarephath, and when he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks [for firewood]. He called out to her and said, “Please bring me a little water in a jar, so that I may drink.” As she was going to get it, he called to her and said, “Please bring me a piece of bread in your hand.” But she said, “As the Lord your God lives, I have no bread, only a handful of flour in the bowl and a little oil in the jar. See, I am gathering a few sticks so that I may go in and bake it for me and my son, that we may eat it [as our last meal] and die.” Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said. Just make me a little bread from it first and bring it out to me, and afterward you may make one for yourself and for your son. For this is what the Lord God of Israel says: ‘The bowl of flour shall not be exhausted nor shall the jar of oil be empty until the day that the Lord sends rain [again] on the face of the earth.’” She went and did as Elijah said. And she and he and her household ate for many days. The bowl of flour was not exhausted nor did the jar of oil become empty, in accordance the word of the Lord which He spoke through Elijah."

 

This  woman had declared defeat, death and hopelessness to the man of God. However, she survived and was rescued by prophet Elijah.

When you obey God's voice and word, you prosper and succeed in life. { Joshua 1:8, 2 Timothy 3:16-17}

 

Her OBEDIENCE to the man of God, released and unleashed supernatural provisions and supplies. What you speak becomes! And what you say manifests. What you believe and pronounce comes to pass

 

"DEATH AND LIFE ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE.  Had the woman not responded to prophet Elijah positively, she would have missed her breakthrough and blessings! Obedience is better than sacrifice. ( 1 Samuel 15:22)    Know what to say and not to say!

It can either build or destroy you.

Choose what to say and what to believe, in the name of Jesus-Amen! (James 1:19-22)

FEAR GOD AND RECEIVE WISDOM

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! The title of my short message is: "FEAR GOD AND RECEIVE WISDOM!"

 

 The Voice Job 29:1 The great wisdom of the ages begins with fearing God. It is the evil of the world that clouds our understanding and leads us into foolishness.

 

The scripture also says, " The (reverent) fear of the Lord  ( that is, worshipping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome) is the beginning and the preeminent part of wisdom ( its starting point and its essence), And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding and spiritual insight." ( Proverbs 9:10 AMP).

 

So wisdom starts when you fear and reverence God.

Blessings overflow as well, when you fear God. Long life is granted and guaranteed, when you fear God. 

 

Riches increase when you fear God.

So get it right and make corrections in your life and receive your breakthrough and blessings in the name of Jesus.  (Proverbs 9:11)

 

The word of God also says, " Respecting  ( Fearing)  the Lord ( Proverbs 1:7) and not being proud  ( humility) will bring you wealth,  honor and long life." ( Proverbs 22:4).

Fear God and you will prosper and succeed in life. ( Joshua 1:8). 

 

Because of the fear of the Lord, God will put you where He wants you.......Even if no one thinks you deserve the position.

You deserve better and no one will stop you because God has spoken it. When God says yes, no one can say no!

 

Remember the word says, " God is not a human being, and he will not lie. He is not a human, and he does not change his mind. What he says he will do, he does [ will he not do it?]. What he promises, he makes come true[ will he not fulfil it/make it come true?].He told  [ commanded] me to bless them, so I cannot change the blessing." [Numbers 23:19-20 EXB]

 

You cannot curse what God has blessed and you cannot change what God has approved and blessed.

CALL TO PRAY!

 

 

 

 

GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

DID YOU KNOW THAT EVERY BELIEVER MAY NOT BE CALLED TO PREACH, BUT EVERY CHRISTIAN IS CALLED  TO PRAY!

 

THE TITLE OF MY MESSAGE IS: " CALL TO PRAY!" 

PRAYER IS OUR DUTY. PRAYER IS OUR PRIVILEGE.

PRAYER, LIKE AIR, WATER AND  FOOD,  IS NECESSARY FOR OUR SURVIVAL AND GROWTH.

 

BUT MANY BELIEVERS REGARD PRAYER ÁS AN OPTIONAL ACTIVITY. 

THE BIBLE SAYS " PRAY WITHOUT CEASING! "( 1 THESSALONIANS 5:17).

THE SCRIPTURE ALSO SAYS, "ONE DAY JESUS TOLD HIS DISCIPLES A STORY TO ILLUSTRATE THEIR NEED FOR CONSTANT PRAYER AND TO SHOW THEM THAT THEY MUST KEEP PRAYING UNTIL THE ANSWER COMES." ( LUKE 18:1).

 

IF I MAY ASK, "IS PRAYER YOUR SPARE TYRE OR YOUR STEERING- WHEEL?" MEDITATE ON THAT QUESTION IN THE PRIVACY OF YOUR OWN HEART AND REMEMBER: THERE IS A HIGHER CALL - THE CALL TO PRAY.  HAVE YOU ANSWERED IT?  FOOD FOR THOUGHT! 

 

LIVING A LIFE WITHOUT PRAYER IS BEING LIKE A FISH THAT IS OUT OF WATER! IT CANNOT SURVIVE OUT OF WATER. IT IS THE SAME WITH AS CHRISTIAN YOU CANNOT SURVIVE IN THIS EVIL WORLD WITHOUT PRAYER! RESPOND TO THE "CALL TO PRAY!"

DEEPER CHALLENGES; SIGNIFY HIGHER BLESSINGS

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer. The tilte of my short message is: " DEEPER  CHALLENGES; SIGNIFY HIGHER  BLESSINGS!" 

 

The Bible says, " We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed."

 

Challenges and problems may come hard on us, but they will not destroy you, but make you stronger and courageous, than before. The scripture says, " He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have not  might he increaseth strength......." ( Isaiah 40:29-31)

 

Remember, an arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward.

When life is dragging you back with difficulties,it means it's going to launch you into something great.

 

So just focus,and keep aiming high. Don't give up! You are  about to give birth to your desired dream and breakthrough.

RESIST THE DEVIL AND HIS SIN NATURE

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your evening prayer and meditation! The title of my message is : "RESIST THE DEVIL AND HIS SIN NATURE!" People of God the devil is roaring and seeking to devour you everyday. You must resist him because he wants to steal, kill and destroy your destiny. He also wants you to sin and fall in your Christian faith. ( John 10:10)

 

 

The Living Bible in Romans 6:1-23 says, " Well then, shall we keep on sinning so that God can keep on showing us more and more kindness and forgiveness? Of course not! Should we keep on sinning when we don’t have to? For sin’s power over us was broken when we became Christians and were baptized to become a part of Jesus Christ; through his death the power of your sinful nature was shattered. Your old sin-loving nature was buried with him by baptism when he died; and when God the Father, with glorious power, brought him back to life again, you were given his wonderful new life to enjoy. For you have become a part of him, and so you died with him, so to speak, when he died; and now you share his new life and shall rise as he did. Your old evil desires were nailed to the cross with him; that part of you that loves to sin was crushed and fatally wounded, so that your sin-loving body is no longer under sin’s control, no longer needs to be a slave to sin; for when you are deadened to sin you are freed from all its allure and its power over you. And since your old sin-loving nature “died” with Christ, we know that you will share his new life. Christ rose from the dead and will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him. He died once for all to end sin’s power, but now he lives forever in unbroken fellowship with God. So look upon your old sin nature as dead and unresponsive to sin, and instead be alive to God, alert to him, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Do not let sin control your puny body any longer; do not give in to its sinful desires. Do not let any part of your bodies become tools of wickedness, to be used for sinning; but give yourselves completely to God—every part of you—for you are back from death and you want to be tools in the hands of God, to be used for his good purposes. Sin need never again be your master, for now you are no longer tied to the law where sin enslaves you, but you are free under God’s favor and mercy. Does this mean that now we can go ahead and sin and not worry about it? (For our salvation does not depend on keeping the law but on receiving God’s grace!) Of course not! Don’t you realize that you can choose your own master? You can choose sin (with death) or else obedience (with acquittal). The one to whom you offer yourself—he will take you and be your master, and you will be his slave. Thank God that though you once chose to be slaves of sin, now you have obeyed with all your heart the teaching to which God has committed you. And now you are free from your old master, sin; and you have become slaves to your new master, righteousness. I speak this way, using the illustration of slaves and masters, because it is easy to understand: just as you used to be slaves to all kinds of sin, so now you must let yourselves be slaves to all that is right and holy. In those days when you were slaves of sin you didn’t bother much with goodness. And what was the result? Evidently not good, since you are ashamed now even to think about those things you used to do, for all of them end in eternal doom. But now you are free from the power of sin and are slaves of God, and his benefits to you include holiness and everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord"

 

Sin over our lives was overcome and overpowered by the blood of Jesus! Therefore sin must no longer reign over our lives as born again Christians. The devil was defeated and overpowered by our Lord Jesus at the cross. ( John 19:30, Matthew 28:18, 1 John 4:4).

 

So why should you continue sinning when your sin nature was nailed on the cross when you died and resurrected together with Christ. Resist the devil and his sin nature and live a blameless and holy life. ( James 4:7, 1 Peter 5:8 -10) Run away from sin like Joseph. If Joseph who lived before the Holy Spirit dispensation could resist sin, how about you, who is a born again Christian living under grace, with Christ in you the hope of glory? It should be easier for you to resist sin! You should make it your lifestyle to shun sin and  evil doings. Remember the wages of sin is death. ( Romans 6:23, Romans 8:5-15, 2 Corinthians 5:17-21, 1 John 1:8-10)

THE LORD IS THINKING ABOUT YOU

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! The title of my message is:"THE LORD IS THINKING  ABOUT YOU" Your faith and trust in God is a guarantee for your constant remembrance by God, which activates supernatural blessings!

The Living Bible in Psalm 115:12-18 says, "Jehovah is constantly thinking about us, and he will surely bless us. He will bless the people of Israel and the priests of Aaron, and all, both great and small, who reverence him. May the Lord richly bless both you and your children. Yes, Jehovah who made heaven and earth will personally bless you! The heavens belong to the Lord, but he has given the earth to all mankind. The dead cannot sing praises to Jehovah here on earth, but we can! We praise him forever! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!"

Your fear of the Lord is the beginning of all wisdom! ( Proverbs 9:10-11) God remembers more those who fear and love him. His eyes run to and fro throughout the whole earth, watching over the righteous who fear the Lord. ( 2 Chronicles 16:9)  May you be favoured with everything which pertains to life and godliness. ( 2 Peter 1:3) I declare that you and your family be constantly remembered by the Lord, because of your faithfulness to God, in the name of JESUS-Amen!

BE HOPEFUL AND PATIENT

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! The Scripture says in Romans 12:12 "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." The title of my message is:"BE HOPEFUL AND PATIENT"

Hope is the only thing stronger than fear, because it gives you the power to expect a desired future becoming a reality. Setbacks, trials and afflictions are ingredients of character modification, but the patient will enjoy the reward of waiting upon the Lord. ( Isaih 40:31,  Romans 5:3-5).  Prayer knows no distance and it is not governed by time. ( Jeremiah 33:3, John 14:14, 1 John 5:14-15).

 

Regardless of the size of the challenges you may face in life, if you kneel in prayer and believe, you can stand up to anything.( Mark 11:23-24, Hebrews 11:6).  Therefore, l urge you to hope in Christ, be patient and pray without ceasing. ( Ephesians 6:18, 1 Tessalonians 5:17).

 

Always remember the prayer of a righteous person has great power to bring change. Keep on hoping, don't give up! It shall be well with you! ( James 5:15-17).

FEAR NOT

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!

I just want to share a message entitled: Fear Not!"

Family of God, The Lord is saying this morning: " Fear not, for I am with you; Be not be dismayed, for I am your God.                               I will strengthen you,  Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.  " Behold, all those who were incensed against you Shall be ashamed and disgraced; They shall be as nothing, And those who strive with you shall perish.                             You shall seek them and not find them -Those who contended with you. Those who war against you Shall be as nothing, As a nonexistent thing. For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand,Saying to you, Fear not, I will help you." ( ISAIH 41:10-13). 

 

What is it that is bothering you right now? What are you afraid  of right now?

Here is an assurance from the Lord, who is present in your situation to give you rest and comfort. He is saying, His hand is not short, as He is able to hold you wherever,  you may be going to, all the time.

 

Remember, He is an omnipresent God. The God who is everywhere at the same time.

If you need strength, He promises to strengthen you. And if you need rest, He will give you rest and peace.

 

He is your refuge and fortress in times of need and worry.

He is your mighty Defender and  Game changer in your life. 

He is your destiny helper! You must totally depend on Him, because He is a faithful and dependable God.

 

Trust Him, He will never fail you. He says, He is prepared to help you all the time.

He will never leave you,  nor forsake you. Just believe and you will be saved and protected in Jesus's name-Amen! ( Deuteronomy 32:4, PSALM 91:1-3, Deuteronomy 31:6-8, Hebrews 13:5-6, Romans 10:10-13, Matthew 11:28-30, Proverbs 3:5-6).

 

Once again the Lord says, "Fear Not!" The Lord is with you all the time.

 

May God richly bless and strengthen you at such a time as this!

GIVE IN ORDER TO BE GIVEN

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!

The title of my short message is:" GIVE IN ORDER TO BE GIVEN!"

 

For you to activate supernatural blessings  and favour, you release something to God or give someone something.

That will also be released back to you.

 

The Living Bible in Luke 6:38 says, "For if you give, you will get! Your gift will return to you in full and overflowing measure, pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, and running over. Whatever measure you use to give—large or small—will be used to measure what is given back to you.”

 

You can't get, when you don't give! You can't give when you don't get

You can't have when you don't give! You can't give when you don't have!

So this simple principle works both in the Christian community and the circular world.

 

Therefore if you want to receive gifts from other people, give and it shall also be given back to you. One good turn deserves another.

God is very faithful in his promises all the time. He does not change.

 

When He promises to give or bless you, he will fulfil it.

He is not a man to lie or change his mind. ( 2 Corinthians 9:6-14, Malachi 3:6-11, Numbers 23:19-20, 2 Corinthians 1:20).  Believe God's word and you will never go wrong in your walk of faith. (2 Chronicles 20;20).

BE DELIVERED FROM ARGUMENTATIVE AND QUARRELSOME SPIRITS

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!

The title of my message is: "BE DELIVERED FROM ARGUMENTATIVE AND QUARRELSOME SPIRITS!" There are many people who are possessed and  oppressed by spirits of arguments and quarrels! Such people need to be delivered and set free from such bad spirits.

 

The Living Bible in  2 Timothy 2:23-26 says," Again I say, don’t get involved in foolish arguments, which only upset people and make them angry. God’s people must not be quarrelsome; they must be gentle, patient teachers of those who are wrong. Be humble when you are trying to teach those who are mixed up concerning the truth. For if you talk meekly and courteously to them, they are more likely, with God’s help, to turn away from their wrong ideas and believe what is true. Then they will come to their senses and escape from Satan’s trap of slavery to sin, which he uses to catch them whenever he likes, and then they can begin doing the will of God."

 

Let me hasten to mention that a soft answer and response, calms simmering volcanoes and storms of anger and arguments. 

The scripture above encourages all christian believers to abstain and avoid foolish arguments and quarrels, which upset other people. God's people are not supposed to be quarrelsome, but be friendly and courteous.

 

Love one another and speak well with other people.   But you find some christians dominating in arguments, even at Church meetings.

Some even end up fighting and hurting each other, yet we must be exemplary in terms of love and maintaining peace, as well as calmness.

 

Don't be caught in boiling storms of arguments and quarrels. Stay peaceful and friendly all the time. Arguments and quarrels attract evil spirits and hatred among believers and non believers.

 

In other circumstances, people end up killing each other on petty issues.

We read many stories in the mainstream media, as well as the social media who killed each other, due to arguments concerning a dollar or a mere coin. It  is sad indeed for a Christian to be involved in such catastrophic and dangerous arguments and fights, which lead to death. 

 

Don't give the devil a foothold! (Ephesians 4:26-32, Galatians 5:15-23, Proverbs 15:18)

The Bible says, " A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievious words stir up anger. " ( Proverbs 15:1)

 

Live a peaceful and friendly life. I pray and declare that you be delivered and set free from argumentative, talkative  and quarrelsome spirits, in the name of Jesus!

YOU WILL RISE UP AGAIN

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!

The title of my message is: " YOU WILL RISE UP AGAIN!"

Let me hasten  to mention that you might have fallen spiritually or physically, but you will rise up again soon. 

 

The Bible in Proverbs 24:16 says, " Even though good ( righteous ) people may be bothered by trouble ( fall seven times, they are never defeated ( get back up), but the wicked are overwhelmed by ( stumble into) trouble." ( EXB) 

 

Even if good people fall seven times, they will get back up. But when trouble strikes the wicked, that's the end of them." ( Proverbs 24:16 CEV).

My enemies, don't be glad because of my troubles! I may have fallen, but I will get up; I may be sitting in the dark, but the LORD is my light." ( Micah 7:8 CEV).

 

I am not alone, someone great is fighting my battles in the name of Jesus. ( 2 Chronicles 20:15, Exodus 14:14).

The first born of all creation and the visible image of the invisible God, is fighting my battles.

You will soon overcome and recover  from that devastating situation.  Don't give up or surrender!  ( Colossians 1:15).

 

Remember, "the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;.............." ( 2 Corinthians 10:4-5).  

You are not  a victim, you are a victor!

You are a winner and not a loser! 

 

Your challenges will not last forever, you will soon be back on track once again.

" YOU WILL RISE UP AGAIN!" It is well with you in Jesus' name-  AMEN! ( Isaiah  43:1-2)

GOD'S GRACE IS SUFFICIENT

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your prayer and meditation!

The Bible in 2 Corinthians 12:8-10 says, "Three different times I begged God to make me well again. Each time he said, “No. But I am with you; that is all you need. My power shows up best in weak people.” Now I am glad to boast about how weak I am; I am glad to be a living demonstration of Christ’s power, instead of showing off my own power and abilities. Since I know it is all for Christ’s good, I am quite happy about “the thorn,” and about insults and hardships, persecutions and difficulties; for when I am weak, then I am strong—the less I have, the more I depend on him".

 

From the scripture above apostle Paul, after experiencing so many challenges and persecutions, he was convinced that it was only God's grace that could sustain him in His ministry as servant of God. We don't live and survive on our own. It is by God's grace that we are what we are. ( 1 Corinthians 15:10).

 

I declare that whatever, pain, scar, thorn, nail and needle that is in your flesh and heart, God's grace is sufficient for you.

Stop worrying and panicking, His grace is sufficient for you.

Remember, Jesus is the only solution and answer to all our problems and challenges, in life!

FORGIVE AND YOU WILL BE FORGIVEN

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! 

The title of my message is : "FORGIVE AND YOU WILL BE FORGIVEN!"

 

The Amplified Bible Psalm 32:1-11 talks of       " Blessedness of Forgiveness and of Trust in God."  Did you know that forgiveness and trust in God  attracts blessings? The scripture says, "Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, favored by God] is he whose transgression is forgiven, And whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute wickedness, And in whose spirit there is no deceit. When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away Through my groaning all the day long. For day and night Your hand [of displeasure] was heavy upon me; My energy (vitality, strength) was drained away as with the burning heat of summer. Selah. I acknowledged my sin to You, And I did not hide my wickedness; I said, “I will confess [all] my transgressions to the Lord”; And You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah. Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You [for forgiveness] in a time when You [are near and] may be found; Surely when the great waters [of trial and distressing times] overflow they will not reach [the spirit in] him. You are my hiding place; You, Lord, protect me from trouble; You surround me with songs and shouts of deliverance. Selah. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you [who are willing to learn] with My eye upon you. Do not be like the horse or like the mule which have no understanding, Whose trappings include bridle and rein to hold them in check, Otherwise they will not come near to you. Many are the sorrows of the wicked, But he who trusts in and relies on the Lord shall be surrounded with compassion and lovingkindness. Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous [who actively seek right standing with Him]; Shout for joy, all you upright in heart."

 

From the scripture above it is clear that blessings and divine favour are attracted by living a Holy, upright and sinless life.

Those who harbour unforgiveness and grudges, live in self exile and self imposed prison full of bitterness and stress. 

 

If you are one of them, make a decision to repent and you will be forgiven and set free today in the name of Jesus. 

If God can forgive you your trespasses, who are you not to forgive others?

You find a person saying I can forgive, but will not forget.

If that is the case with you right now, learn to forgive and forget.

 

If you cannot forget then you are keeping a dust bin of deleted items that can still be retrieved in your mind later or any time when you are offended or triggered by offenses.

Think about it and delete all those people who offended you in the past and you will live a clean and stress free life. 

 

Jesus forgave all of us our sins, and everything was nailed with him on the cross.

Why can you not forgive and forget? ( Romans 3:23, Colossians 1:12-14, Colossians 2:14, John 19:30)

 

Pray for forgiveness today and you will be forgiven and delivered from your self imposed prison.  Remember our Lord is a caring and loving Father whose mercies endure forever.

Allow the Holy Spirit to touch and change your life today, by forgiving someone, and you will live an offense free life.

 

You cannot worship and praise the Lord freely, while toiling in a prison of bitterness and hurt! Release that person from your heart today, and you will be delivered from that sickness and disease caused by depression and stresses, such as high blood pressure,  sugar diabetes and mental illnesses, among others. 

 

 Please note that unforgiveness and hatred, can be a hindrance to your breakthrough and blessings.  ( Isaiah 43:25, 1 John 1:8-10, Matthew 6:9-14, Isaiah 1:18-19, Mark 11:24-26, John 3:16).

Some Prayers cannot be answered unless you forgive now! ( Isaiah 59:1-4)

 

Forgive and you will also be forgiven!.

JUST ASK GOD

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer! I just want to mention that the world we live in, has different challenges and problems, facing mankind. It is in the same vein, that I want to share a message entitled : " JUST ASK GOD!"

 

Many people worry too much in life on things that are simply, meant to be   addressed and handled by God.

People spend many hours pondering and thinking over the unknown.  The Bible says, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you; For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." ( Matthew 7:7-8).

 

Just pray and ask God, " How can I simplify my life? What am I doing, God, that's making life so complicated? " Stop blaming everything in the devil's name, and take a little bit of responsibility for your life. God will show you some ways to simplify your life, but then you have to be willing to follow through. Ask God to show you the areas of your life , you may be complicating that should be simple; then return to simplicity. ( Proverbs 3:5-6).  Stop complicating issues of life! Just take life easily and live everyday at a time.                                    

 

Some day you may just feel stressed and confused, to an extent of failing to choose the right clothes to put on for the day, such that you end up being frustrated. In that situation and condition , the Holy Spirit may remind you  to keep it simple and just put something on your body and go. 

We can get in such a habit of complicating life, that we can't even get dressed without divine intervention!

 

Ask God to reveal areas of indecision that may be complicating your life, in order to simplify your life.

There are many people who suffer from the " spirit of indecision".

If you are one of them, "Just ask God to assist you simplify your life and be set free from the Spirit of indecision.

 

The Bible also says, " Do not be anxious about anything, but in  everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." ( PHILLIPIANS 4:6-7).

 

There are many people,  who  are too anxious and unsettled about everything, who need divine intervention, as I share this message right now. Such people have the Martha syndrome which must be cast out of them.

 

Jesus in Luke 10:38-42, said to Martha, "Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, there is need of one or but a few things ." People like Martha, get burned out easily, because they tend to make everything so much harder than it ought to be . Just keep it simple and Ask God to simplify everything.

 

Stop worrying and panicking,  even when you receive visitors at your home, keep it simple and you will not  be overwhelmed. " You just have to be composed and be yourself. Don't overstretch yourself to the limit, be simple and calm. 

 

Take it easy  and let God take care of all areas of your life.

Just leave it to God. He knows every detail of your life. 

JUST ASK  GOD!"  DON'T PANIC! KEEP IT SIMPLE!  (Hebrews 10:35-39, Proverbs 16:3).

LISTEN TO THE RIGHT VOICE

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer this!

The title of my message is: "LISTEN TO THE RIGHT VOICE" The Living Bible in Isaiah 30:21 says, "And if you leave God’s paths and go astray, you will hear a voice behind you say, “No, this is the way; walk here.”

 

Everyday the voice of God speaks to us. Learn to listen to the Holy Spirit as he leads and guides you everyday.

When you are about to sin or do something wrong in life, there is always a voice behind which whispers to you as a warning for leading you to the right path ( way).

Carnal people call it conscience, but for the born again people we talk  of the Holy that instructs and guide us all the time.

 

The Holy Spirit is our helper, comforter and counsellor! 

He is with us, in us and for us all the time.

Hear His voice and you will not go astray! ( John 14:26, John 15:26, John 16:13, Job 33:14-17).

 

But you must be careful to listen to the right voice. The devil can also mislead you to think as if it's the Lord speaking.

Learn to discern the spirit of truths and of error. ( 1 John 4:1-4, 1 Corinthians 12:8-11)

 

This will assist you to differentiate between the voice of God and the devil!

Remember the steps of the righteous  are directed by God.

Therefore the Lord will never let you fall, without a warning.(Psalm 37:23-24, Psalm 119:105)

 

Just be alert and conscious all the time! 

God is still saying something! Listen to His voice everyday!

COMPLAINT AND PRAISE

 

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your  prayer and meditation!

The Amplified Bible in Psalm 31:1-24 presents A Psalm of "Complaint and of Praise." "In You, O Lord, I have placed my trust and taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed; In Your righteousness rescue me. Incline Your ear to me, deliver me quickly; Be my rock of refuge, And a strong fortress to save me. Yes, You are my rock and my fortress; For Your name’s sake You will lead me and guide me. You will draw me out of the net that they have secretly laid for me, For You are my strength and my stronghold. Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O Lord, the God of truth and faithfulness. I hate those who pay regard to vain (empty, worthless) idols; But I trust in the Lord [and rely on Him with unwavering confidence]. I will rejoice and be glad in Your steadfast love, Because You have seen my affliction; You have taken note of my life’s distresses, And You have not given me into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a broad place. Be gracious and compassionate to me, O Lord, for I am in trouble; My eye is clouded and weakened by grief, my soul and my body also. For my life is spent with sorrow And my years with sighing; My strength has failed because of my iniquity, And even my body has wasted away. Because of all my enemies I have become a reproach and disgrace, Especially to my neighbors, And an object of dread to my acquaintances; Those who see me on the street run from me. I am forgotten like a dead man, out of mind; I am like a broken vessel. For I have heard the slander and whispering of many, Terror is on every side; While they schemed together against me, They plotted to take away my life. But as for me, I trust [confidently] in You and Your greatness, O Lord; I said, “You are my God.” My times are in Your hands; Rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from those who pursue and persecute me. Make Your face shine upon Your servant; Save me in Your lovingkindness. Let me not be put to shame, O Lord, for I call on You; Let the wicked (godless) be put to shame, let them be silent in Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead). Let the lying lips be mute, Which speak insolently and arrogantly against the [consistently] righteous With pride and contempt. How great is Your goodness, Which You have stored up for those who [reverently] fear You, Which You have prepared for those who take refuge in You, Before the sons of man! In the secret place of Your presence You hide them from the plots and conspiracies of man; You keep them secretly in a shelter (pavilion) from the strife of tongues. Blessed be the Lord, For He has shown His marvelous favor and lovingkindness to me [when I was assailed] in a besieged city. As for me, I said in my alarm, “I am cut off from Your eyes.” Nevertheless You heard the voice of my supplications (specific requests) When I cried to You [for help]. O love the Lord, all you His godly ones! The Lord preserves the faithful [those with moral and spiritual integrity] And fully repays the [self-righteousness of the] arrogant. Be strong and let your hearts take courage, All you who wait for and confidently expect the Lord."

 

Here we see David praising the Lord and complaining at the same time.

If you carefully listen to many prayers made by a number of people( Christians) in particular, they are full of emotions and bitterness as well as complaints.

 

David had decided to praise the Lord while complaining at the same time. Are you not one of those that go before the Lord in prayer, full of anger, bitterness and complaints?

Paul in Thessalonians 5:16-18 says we must give thanks in all circumstances,whether in happiness, sorrow or sadness, because it is the will of God in Christ Jesus!

 

The Bible also says rejoice in the Lord and I say rejoice always.( Philippians 4:4). 

I know it is sometimes a challenge to rejoice when you are in difficult times, but the scripture encourages us to do so.

 

When you go before the throne of God, try to focus on the Lord as you worship and praise him, during intercession and prayer time.

Come before the Lord boldly in confidence and peace. ( Hebrews 4:16, 1 John 5:15_15).

 

Praise  and worship the Lord with  a merry heart.

Freely praise Him! Hallelujah! Stop complaining, just give all the glory to God, before you pray, in order to attract his attention.

 

Praise  and worship him with a stress free spirit all the time, in Jesus's name-Amen!

BUY THE TRUTH AND DON'T SELL IT

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Hope it is well with you! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!

The Scripture says in Proverbs 23:23 "Buy the truth and do not sell it; get wisdom, discipline and understanding." (AMP)The title of my message is: " Buy the truth and Don't sell it!"
John 8:32 also says, "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."                                                          

 

Truth is the foundation of everlasting peace, joy and above all eternal life.

Only truth has the power to lead you to total freedom.

However, everyday truth is attacked by deception and falsehood.

 

There are many people who are selling and exchanging the truth for money and bribery.

But as for you be wise and stick to the truth, because Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

Don't be caught on the wrong side as a child of God, by making false statements and confesssions before the courts of law and other religious and social disciplinary committees. (John 14:6). You will be committing sin before God. Buy the truth and don't sell it!                           

 

Be honest and faithful like our Lord Jesus, who is also the Word and the Word which is the truth.

The truth is the Word of God, which makes us free! ( John 17:17). 

 

Remember, discipline is the bridge between your goals and the joy of victory. Therefore, seek the truth, be wise, get understanding and always be disciplined in all your ways.

" Buy The Truth and Don't Sell It " Hallelujah!
