LET THE FIRE BURN FOR THE GOSPEL

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!

The title of the message is: "LET THE FIRE BURN FOR THE GOSPEL!" The Living Bible in Jeremiah 20:9 says, "And I can’t quit! For if I say I’ll never again mention the Lord—never more speak in his name—then his word in my heart is like fire that burns in my bones, and I can’t hold it in any longer."

 

When the word of God becomes the standard of your life, you can never contain and hold the urge and push for preaching the gospel of Christ Jesus.

I pray that we all feel the heat and fire for harvesting souls to Christ.

 

May your priority as a Christian be to share the good news with others and those that have not known Jesus's unfailing love and mercy.

Preach in season and out of season. There are many people out there who need God's grace and love. Take them to the cross( Jesus Christ) where there is no  discrimination and hatred. They will find everlasting rest and comfort, in Christ! (Mathew 11:28-30)

The Amplified Bible in 2 Timothy 4:1-5 says, "I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word [as an official messenger]; be ready when the time is right and even when it is not [keep your sense of urgency, whether the opportunity seems favorable or unfavorable, whether convenient or inconvenient, whether welcome or unwelcome]; correct [those who err in doctrine or behavior], warn [those who sin], exhort and encourage [those who are growing toward spiritual maturity], with inexhaustible patience and [faithful] teaching. For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine and accurate instruction [that challenges them with God’s truth]; but wanting to have their ears tickled [with something pleasing], they will accumulate for themselves [many] teachers [one after another, chosen] to satisfy their own desires and to support the errors they hold, and will turn their ears away from the truth and will wander off into myths and man-made fictions [and will accept the unacceptable]. But as for you, be clear-headed in every situation [stay calm and cool and steady], endure every hardship [without flinching], do the work of an evangelist, fulfill [the duties of] your ministry".  " Preach the Word"

 

Let us keep the fire burning on the altar by praying without ceasing and preaching the gospel in season and out of season, in order to harvest many souls for the Kingdom of God.  There are many platforms of spreading the GOSPEL in this new age of high technology with various communication channels, such as the Facebook, Whatsapp, Blogs, YouTube, Television and Internet. 

 

It is now time for true revival to take place across the world, during these end times. Play your part as a disciple of Christ Jesus by sharing the word of God with the lost!( Luke 4:18-19)

Preach the GOSPEL! Don't be ashamed or shy!

 

Paul says, " For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." ( Romans 1:16)

Preach without ceasing!  Pray without ceasing! Love without ceasing! Give without ceasing!

OPEN YOUR EYES

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!

The title of my message is: "OPEN YOUR EYES!" There are times in life when you may be desperate and hopeless and yet what you are in need of, will be just around and near you.

 

But when your eyes are not opened you cannot see anything. Remember, there are physical and spiritual eyes and both are critical in our lives. (Proverbs 20:12)

It is the Lord who gives us eyes to see and ears to hear.

Hagar was with her son in the wilderness. The boy was very thirsty and about to die. Hagar had searched everywhere and found no source of water. Then something shocking happened....the Bible says, "THEN GOD OPENED HER EYES AND SHE SAW A WELL!"( Genesis 21:19) God did not create a well. The well was there. God only opened her eyes to see it. But she had looked at that same place without seeing anything earlier!!

 

In your wilderness and dry situation in life, God can create a surprise miracle to address your desperate situation. When it appears dark and empty, the Lord can open your eyes to see a well of living waters.

When God opens your eyes you will see opportunities and great life changing ideas, where you searched before and saw nothing!!!

"What the eye has not seen........" ( 1 Corinthians 2:9)  The Lord can cause you to see hidden treasures of wealth and riches in the wilderness economy. ( Isaiah 45vs3)

 

Lets all  cry out today and say "OH GOD OPEN MY EYES! I WANT TO SEE BEYOND MY NATURAL EYES!

Lord help me to see what others can't see!

 

May God reveal to you the treasures that are hidden in darkness!( Isaiah 45:3) May your spiritual eyes be opened right now, so that you may see the invisible things!

May you see what others can't  see in the name of Jesus!

 

May you see opportunities, rather than difficulties at a time such as this!

When others are crying and complaining, may you  see opportunities for maximizing in profits in the name of Jesus-Amen!

 

I declare that the Lord may open your mind to new ideas and opportunities, even when it seems impossible.

I pray that the Lord May give you grace to do the impossible, at a time such as this! ( Jeremiah 32:27, 2 Kings 6:17)

 

Whatever you desire may you see it in the spirit, before it manifests in the physical! "Open your eyes!" Begin to sing, " I CAN SEE EVERYTHING IS TURNING ARROUND: I CAN SEE EVERYTHING IS TURNING ARROUND!" I CAN SEE......! In Jesus's name Amen!

KNOW YOUR IDENTITY

Here is the word of God for your meditation and prayer!

The tittle of my message is: " KNOW YOUR IDENTITY!"

 

The Living Bible in Psalm 125:1-5 says,  "Those who trust in the Lord are steady as Mount Zion, unmoved by any circumstance. Just as the mountains surround and protect Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds and protects his people. For the wicked shall not rule the godly, lest the godly be forced to do wrong. O Lord, do good to those who are good, whose hearts are right with the Lord; but lead evil men to execution. And let Israel have quietness and peace."    

 

Know your identity and strength in the Lord, you will not be easily moved or shaken by any circumstances!

Understand that as a born again Christian the power you carry inside you, is supernatural and extraordinarily immeasurable! ( 1John 4:4, Ephesians 3:20).

 

You carry "dunamis" power inside you which is capable of breaking all yokes of bondage and demonic forces. ( Isaiah 10:27, Ephesians 4:6-7). You have the power to loose and bind anything! (Matthew 18:18)

Jesus the hope of glory dwells inside you by faith and therefore you cannot be shaken or moved by anything. ( Colossians 1:26-27, 2 Corinthians 5:17).

 

You are unmoved by  any circumstance! What is it that is worrying and threatening you right now? " No your identity!"  Like a Lion and an Elephant in the jungle, fear nothing because the Lion of Judah inside you is immovable!

 

Don't worry or panic, you are untouchable and immovable, in the name of Jesus-Amen!

CHRIST'S SUFFERING ON THE CROSS DESTROYED SINS

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! The title of my message is :"CHRIST'S SUFFERING ON THE CROSS DESTROYED SINS!"

The Bible says, " Since Christ suffered and underwent pain, you must have the same attitude he did; you must be ready to  suffer, too. For remember, when your body suffers, sin loses its power, and you won't  be spending the rest of your life chasing after evil desires but will be anxious to do the will of God." ( 1 Peter 4:1-3 TLB).

 

Subjecting your body under the power of the Holy spirit and carrying the cross of physical pain, disciplines your body to conform  to the will of God and overcome the lustful sin of the flesh. ( Galatians 5:16-18, Matthew 16:24).

 

Pain caused by suffering for the truth conquers the devil's evil intentions. 

Overcome sin by submitting to the will of God, through the power of the living Word, Jesus Christ. ( John 1:1-4, Romans 12:1-2, John 17-17).

FOCUS ON PREACHING THE CROSS FOR HARVESTING SOULS

 

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer!

The title of my message is: "FOCUS ON PREACHING THE CROSS FOR HARVESTING SOULS" 

 

We have observed that the focus of Christianity today is money, prosperity, establishment, safety and self - preservation.

The goals of most Christians are to get more money, houses, cars, and security. Even pastors measure their success by the amount of money they have and by the size of the offerings in their churches. The Expanded Bible in 2 Corinthians 2:17 says,       " We do not ·sell [peddle] the word of God for a profit as many other people do. But in Christ we speak the truth ·before [in the presence of] God, as ·messengers of [envoys of; L from] God."  The Living Bible in 2 Corinthians 2:17 also says,                  " Only those who, like ourselves, are men of integrity, sent by God, speaking with Christ’s power, with God’s eye upon us. We are not like those hucksters—and there are many of them—whose idea in getting out the Gospel is to make a good living out of it."

 

The message of prosperity has become the message of the church.  Many people's minds have been programmed to receiving instead of sacrificing for the cross and  harvesting of souls. The church must be seen as a group of people who sacrifice for the Kingdom and not as a group of people who only receive blessings.

 

You will notice that whenever the church has a miracle working service, the attendance is different  from when it is a teaching service, an ordinary weekday service, or a training camp session.  Any meeting that calls for some kind of work like witnessing or prayer is poorly attended.

 

However the crowds gather when they expect to receive miracles. But the church is supposed to be a place where we "take up our crosses and follow Him". ( Matthew 16:24). 

Money has never been a measure of God's approval of our lives and never will be.

 

The Bible clearly teaches that in the last days, some will suppose that gain is godliness. " Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth,  supposing that Gain is Godliness" ( 1 Timothy 6:5).

 

True gospel is about sacrifice.  " Sacrifice" means " giving up something ". Many of us first heard of the word  sacrifice from the Bible. Throughout the old Testament, we see the Israelites  making sacrifices to God continually. You could not think of a prophet of God in the Bible without thinking about sacrifices. You could not think of Elijah, without thinking of his experience with the 400 prophets of Baal.

 

Yet today sacrifice is one of the most hushed topics. Today the theme of our preaching is prosperity, miracles and blessings. The church has totally abandoned the original message of sacrifice and harvesting of souls. ( Matthew  28:19-20, Romans 12:1-2).

 

The church has become a phantom of the original church;  fearful and powerless. Other religions constantly demonstrate to us the essence and practice of sacrifice. The message of sacrifice and salvation is very relevant for all of us today.

 

The teaching of sacrifice must return to the church otherwise we will continue to be a phantom of the real church! ( Matthew 6: 20-33, Acts 7:55-56,)  Is there anything for  Christ in our Christian life?  Apostle Paul says, " But Christ has shown me that what I once thought was valuable is worthless. Nothing is as wonderful as knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. I have given up everything else and count it all rubbish. All I want is Christ. ( Philippians 3:7-8 CEV).

 

Paul made many sacrifices for his faith and was glad about it. There is nothing like living for God without paying the price. Some people want to be pastors without paying the price. Be honest with yourself and accept the reality of sacrifice.  ( Hebrew 13:15).

 

We must focus our effort in sacrificing for the harvesting of many souls to Christ, instead of preaching the gospel for our personal gain. We don't sell the gospel for money, but sacrifice our resources, time and comfort for the sake of the salvation for many people into the kingdom of God.

 

The power of sacrifice unlocks doors for the manifestation of God's glory among many believers. Set aside and sacrifice time for doing God's business and he will also take care of your own business. Commit yourself for the sacrifice of preaching the gospel of Christ in order to bring many souls to Christ. Pray, fast, read the word, meditate and proclaim the good news of Christ to the lost souls and the backslidden. ( Ephesians 6:18, Joshua 1:8, 2 Timothy 3:16-17). Let us be genuine soul harvesters and bring more people to Christ. (Luke 4:18) Have a prayerful and spirit filled week!

PUTTING YOUR ANGELS AT WORK!

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer. I want to share on a message titled: "PUTTING YOUR ANGELS AT WORK!"

 

The Voice Bible in  Daniel 10:1-21 talks about the angelic visitation which Daniel encountered. Although God has countless heavenly messengers, only two are named in the Bible: Gabriel and Michael. These heavenly messengers fill many functions in the Bible; for example, they are members of God’s divine council, they lead the heavenly army, and they deliver the words of God. In Daniel, Gabriel is a messenger in the most literal sense, bringing a revelation to Daniel through the explanations of a dream and of Scripture. Gabriel’s announcements about the coming Liberator do not end with Daniel. In the New Testament book of Luke, he is the one who announces the impending births of John the Baptist and Jesus to Zechariah and Mary, respectively. The Bible says, "In the third year of King Cyrus’ reign over the Persian Empire, Daniel, who had been named Belteshazzar by his Babylonian captors, received a word from God through another vision. The message proved reliable, and it had to do with a great war. Daniel understood the word and gained insight into the future through this vision. Here is his account. These events happen around 535 b.c., when Babylonia is part of Persia. Daniel: When I received this vision, I, Daniel, had been in mourning for three weeks. I had eaten very little, no meat and no rich foods at all. I had not enjoyed the taste of wine, nor had I used any oils to bathe or groom myself. I continued this way throughout the three full weeks. The vision came to me on the 24th day of the 1st month. As I was on the bank of the great Tigris River, I lifted my eyes and saw what seemed at first to be a man dressed in linen clothing. Around his waist was a belt made of the purest gold. His body had the appearance of yellow topaz; his face was bright like flashes of lightning; his eyes flamed like torches; his arms and legs sparkled like polished bronze; his voice sounded like thunder. I, Daniel, alone saw this man and heard his voice. Though there were others around me who did not see this sight, they were still overcome with fear and ran to hide. I did not. I was left all alone to witness this glorious sight. My strength soon left me. My face was drained of its natural color, and I was confused. I had no energy at all. Then I heard his voice and caught the sound of his words. As I did, I fell into a deep sleep—my face pressed to the ground. Just then, a mighty hand touched me and lifted my trembling body onto my hands and knees. Messenger: Daniel, you are highly regarded by God. I have been sent to help you understand the destiny of your people. Stand up and listen carefully to what I have to tell you. As he spoke, I slowly rose to my feet, though I was still shaking. Messenger: Do not be afraid, Daniel. From the very first day that you began to pursue understanding and humble yourself before your God, your words have been heard. I have been sent in response to what you’ve said. I would have been here sooner; however, for the past 21 days the spirit prince of Persia opposed me and prevented my coming to you. Then Michael, one of the chief princes of heaven, came to my aid because I alone was busy dealing with the kings of Persia. I have come to help you understand what will happen to your people in the last days, for this vision is about a time yet to come. As he was saying all this to me, I dropped my head and looked at the ground, completely quiet, unable to respond. Then one who looked like the sons of men approached and touched my lips. After that I was able to open my mouth and speak again. I turned to the one standing before me.

Daniel: My lord, what I have seen has left me utterly depressed. I have no strength left. How can I, your humble servant, even begin to address someone like you, my lord? My strength is gone, and I can hardly catch my breath. Again the one who looked like a man reached out and touched me. With that I felt my strength begin to return.

Messenger: Do not be afraid, you who are highly regarded by God. May peace rest on you and make you whole; be strong; be brave. At his words, I grew even stronger.

Daniel: Please continue, my lord, for your words have given me strength.

Daniel was being strengthened by angels on the above scripture.

 

We must also know that angels do minister to us and for us.

 Hebrews 1:14 says about angels, Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minster for them who shall be heirs of salvation? 

 

Angels minister in many different ways, but they always minister on orders from God. They are holy creatures sent by God to carry out His will.             

But angels can disobey their Lord just as we humans can.

Remember that Satan and his demons are disobedient angels.

They used to serve God in heaven.            

"LEARN TO PLEASE GOD"                                     

What do I mean when I talk about " putting your angels to work"?

I mean that since angels are spirits sent by God to carry out His will on this earth by ministering to and for the " heirs of salvation," then we believers ought to be keeping those angelic creatures busy! We ought to have them working for us all the time.                                      

 

" But how do we do that?" you must ask. " How do I put my angels to work?"

The answer is simple: by pleasing God.

Since angels take instruction from God and work according to what the Bible says, as long as you are speaking and acting in a way that pleases God and conforms to His Word, then angels will minister to you and for  you.

 

But the opposite is also true. If you don't speak and act in a way pleasing to God and according to what His Word says, then His holy angels will not minister to you or for you. They will stand off at a distance and watch you, but they won't minister.                    

 

If you want your angels to go to work to help you, then you have got to do the things that please God! You have got to please God!

"But how?" you ask.'                                 

There are about seven ways a Christian pleases God.

We will look at them one by one.                                     

Have Faith!                                

The Bible says, " But without faith it is impossible to please him;  for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." ( Hebrews 11:6).

 

How do you please Go?

The first thing you must do to please God is to have faith.

For your angels to work, faith must be in operation. Angels will not minister to you or for you unless you have faith in God, faith that lines up with His Word.

 

The more you believe God - the more your words and actions conform to His Word - the more He can and will do for you.  So if you will just sell out to God, believing everything you read in the Bible, then you will be on your way  to a life filled  with joy and victory, because the angels of the Lord will encamp around about you.
They will always be there to work on your behalf.                                 

Some people are afraid to sell out totally to God. That is a mistake.
The smartest thing I ever did in my life was to get on my knees and put my life entirely into the hands of the Lord. That was the day I really began to live.

The greatest prayer I prayed was one when I asked the Lord to take charge of my life, to teach me how to live and love His way. I had come to the place in my life where I wanted all that God had for me. But I knew that in order to get all God had formed, I had to give Him all of me . We must love and please God with all our being. ( Mark 12:30).

Angels are assigned to do different functions in our lives.
However, Michael and Gabriel are the leading major angels, that play many roles.  We all need angelic encounters and visitations all the time.  I declare that you be visited by angels today in the name of Jesus.  

May the Lord assign angels of  healing, deliverance and good news to minister to you right now in the name of Jesus. Thank you for angelic visitations tonight in the name of Jesus -AMEN!

MINIMIZE YOUR EXPECTATIONS FROM PEOPLE

 

 

 

 

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Here is the word for your meditation and prayer at such a time as this! I just want to advise someone right now, that you must not over trust people, and be over anxious  about your expectations from people. ( Philippians 4:6-7).

 

The tittle of my message is: "Minimise your Expectations from People!"

At times we tend to expect too much from people and as usual we get disappointed.

No matter how good you are to people don't think they will always reciprocate that .

The unpredictability and undependability of people is clearly presented in the Bible.

1. There are people that you have helped when they desperately needed you, but when you needed them they disappeared.

Jesus rescued Peter when he was drowning, but Peter later denied him during the trial. (Mark 14:30, 31, 72, Matthew 14:27-31)

2. Sometimes people  don't care about you but they care about what you offer .

Joseph's brothers ate the food that he had brought to them and put him in the pit. ( Genesis 37:23-28)

3. When you do them a favour they repay you by giving you problems.

Abraham took Lot with him to the promised land,  but later there was a fight between Lot and Abraham's shepherds.( Genesis 13:7-8).

4. You bring them close and they use their closeness to your disadvantage.

Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss. (Matthew 26:48-49).

Avoid fake kisses and unrepentant hugs!

Minimise your expectations from people, because they have a record of letting others down . Maximise your expectations from God because he will never let you down
(Psalm 118:8, Psalm 62:5).

 

It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man." Cursed is a man who trust in another man, but blessed is a man who trusts in God........" ( Jeremiah 17:5-7)

 

 " Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding.
In everything ask the Lord, he will direct your ways". ( Proverbs 3:5-6).

 

"Minimize your expectations from people!"

Trust God, He will never fail you!
